If and when we are bagging do we take profits quickly. If so how much? Do we just let the whole thing ride? Can we cope with the swings? Can we still hold onto the big picture?

As I said I have no expertise at all in this area but I never let that get in the way of a good debate and I don't mind looking stupid.
To address your latest points;
Presumably the groundwork to see whether human beings tolerate affimer therapy as well as mice appear to do which looks like commencing in January will constitute the groundwork of which you speak. So six months away from beginning to tackle that issue. Whether time scales can be expedited in compelling circumstances is one for the experts.
Re your standard potential trial patient surely the pool for such a trial is going to be those who are unable to benefit any more from standard chemo because the limit of dosage has been reached even allowing for Mab advances thus far. For such a patient the choice may be palliative care or the chance that their otherwise toxic chemo drug can be allowed to continue to blast their cancer cells without affecting the rest of their body at all. In which case no brainer.
It all turns on your second last paragraph.
AS is obviously confident from his last video that their is a great chance of producing that first such drug in history.
And since from the info on the Avacta website it appears that the claim is simply that affimers are qualitively superiorior than manufactured antibodies or aptamers or the like. I don't think there is considered to be a huge risk of something better superseding them during trial.

The results were known on June and announced in the Design Freeze RNS.
Dr Hands comments are not new either except perhaps for his take on the "hundreds of thousands" issue where he says the consortium are scaling up to produce that figure monthly.
That's consistent with the results RNS and also with the clarificatory email which last mentioned document however stated that;
1. The forecast that the tests would ultimately be sold in the hundreds of thousands if not millions was a cautious approach.
and
2.Separately, aspirations for manufacturing capacity are greater than this and it is the companies aim to ensure that future demand matches this expected capacity to produce.

I dont think its a controversial statement to say that many MABS have already been developed and many more are being developed.
Is it not however the companies position that affimers are likely to outdo these MABS in the areas of ease of manufacture, expense snd perhaps most importantly complete lack of side effects?

Up till a few days ago we were still tradeable and therefor trollable.
Now the price is very stable.
In my view its the calm before the storm and with the expected news flow and the expected price hike we will again become tradeable and trollable.
Folks will complain holders will hold and on we will go one cycle after another until we reach whatever our respective exit points happen to be.
I am hoping my one will make me nice and comfortable financially.

You can look on this two ways.
Either emotionally in which case your day will be spoilt if there is no RNS in 10 mins time.
Or rationally in which case your mood will not alter whether or not there is news.
If it comes it is simply a step in a process we are aware of and excited about.
If not it’ll come next week

People may be wondering why it takes so long to choose a finance provider when they made their pitches weeks ago.
People may be wondering whether the delay in Power Metal excercising their right to purchase a further 10% of Haneti for 25 Thousand Dollars is linked in any way to the delay in finalising project finance and in any event who benefits from this delay and why?
People may be wondering whether or not the finance option eventually chosen will be the best deal for shareholders.
People may be thinking that any deal re future project financing may have to have various conditions attached such as a bankable feasibility study being required and that to achieve these conditions further substantial dilution may be required.
