There are many things in life more important than money.
And its what we do with it that will ultimately affect our happiness levels.
But I have little doubt that we are all going to have a lot more of it starting from next week.
My portfolio is weighted accordingly and may I say following the sleepy rules of investment I have no anxiety about that whatsoever!!
I would love us all to have a big party in a years time and see how some of us get on with each other face to face.

Cheap - because affimers despite being little miracles are so Robust and easy to produce in bulk. No world shortage of reagents or inherent lags in antibody production will affect us. Multiple manufacturers will keep costs down.
Reliable - yep best in class on at least 2 fronts. The boss has told us.
Accessible - No uncomfortable swabs hard to follow instructions or problems knowing how to even get a test far less one with immediate results
Patented - No one can reproduce these tests. Affimers as far as we can currently tell are best at producing the above.

So while we've been fretting about sensitivity (without reason of course) the main advantages of our LFT Test are likely to be convenience and price and immediacy and the ability to wow the market (cue Medusa).
We can see now why the drip drop of working figures on sensitivity in June would have been entirely irrelevant.
What will be needed (and what I believe is on the way ) is a marketing explosion.

The proposal that some "crappy" tests may actually be more fit for purpose (if the purpose is stopping the pandemic in its tracks) than non immediate more expensive top of the range tests is an eye opener.

Everyone needs to watch for themselves but the message from eminent scientists seems to be that the question to be addressed is not who has virus particles but rather who is infective.
It explains why that question can actually be better addressed by cheap and immediate tests done very regularly even if they are at sensitivities as low as 50 - 60 per cent ("crappy tests") than top of the range pcr tests with impressive headline sensitivities.
And before Always Winning starts fretting that this is AVACTA setting us up for "failure" the video is nothing to do with AVACTA.
i'm coming round to the conclusion that AVACTA have honed the sensitivity of their LFT test (and other companies their tests) more to satisfy the regulator and the markets than to make the tests more efficacious in addressing the pandemic

I hear what your saying PL75. My guess as you say is valueless and on the matter of the Covid therapy we are both probably whistling in the wind (unless you are more of an expert than I)

and if Condor have it we don't need it (and we don't want it till the optimisation process is concluded).
On the matter of Covid therapy you could argue about which between affimers and manufactured antibodies is least likely to be tolerated by the human body (my guess is both will be fine).
However (and this is definitely an area for experts not numpties like me) look at the advantages of affimers over antibodies set forth on the AVACTA website.
