The RNS of 20 May talks of an exclusive distribution agreement for direct to customer sales of a saliva based rapid test. I have no doubt that exclusivity will work both ways and the lawyers will have sorted it.
Of course there is nothing to stop Medusa selling other tests for AVCT or indeed other clients (at least as far as we know).
What they must not do and it would be actionable if they did would be to confuse any of avct's tests with anyone elses.
Someone it appears made a bit of a booboo (see what I did there) this afternoon.

The AIM market can be puzzling impenetrable frustrating heartbreaking and illogical. It is full of dross masquerading as precious stones.
But maybe once or twice in a decade A pearl can be found.
imo we have found that pearl we know the value of that pearl and excitingly the AIM market hasn't yet got a clue
So lets wait with patience and anticipation not over extend ourselves but enjoy this time and the weeks to come.

Other tests are not a threat. They wouldn't be a threat even if they were as good as the company/CEO says ours are (respectively gold standard and best in class).
I reckon we could have easily CE marked our tests by now.
But we are doing it right. As befits quality tests. The best foundation. The Klaus/Condor treatment.
So that we can (as promised) get our tests out as soon as possible in the summer BAMS first then LFD.

I don't think anyone is ever "stuck" in a share although its sometimes hard ( but sometimes neccesary) to crystallise a big loss.
I am certainly not implying that GDR should be sold. In fact I think that it along with the other Covids will beat the FTSE during the rest of this year.
I do think however that in the increasingly crowded Covid space it makes sense for an investor to identify Unique selling points in their investment that they (not anyone else) believe in.

Well all 6 shares on the Sleepy Covid Exchange are up. The FTSE 100 is down.
No serious investor can ignore the Covid sector.

Looks like NCYT have decided to try to be all things to all men in a Covid sense.
Time will tell if that turns out to be the right approach for them.
They are not imo a threat to us. They don't have affimers.

I think I will add to the comparison the FTSE 100 Index which currently stands at 6123.82.
In my opinion its likely that all 5 stocks will do better than that as the reality of Covids effect on the Worlds economy kicks in.

However all five have bagged and if you read their chat boards their respective "faithfuls" expect them to bag again. They all think their own share has the killer USP from here.
NCYP - First mover advantage. Well established and effective sales team. Good reputation. Good contacts . Repeat orders.
ODX - Government backed and order from them almost nailed on. Arrangement with Mologic likely to take up any slack in manufacturing capacity.
GDR - low market capital. Potentially their test is an improvement on existing PCR. Approvals and sales apparently imminent.
SNG - Simply the best therapy (potentially) currently on offer.
AVCT - We all know.
I have not set forth the downsides for each. I am of course biased but in my view AVCT (quite apart from its obvious advantages also has the least downside (apart from SNG who imo however have the possibility of a placing short term)
Up till now all these companies have been winners.
Will that still be the case come Christmas?
