One thing the weekends Mologic debate has shown us is how pointless it is to compare/ worry about each new antigen test.
Mologic have as ST said given sensitivity/specificity numbers only for their antibody test. They have not given full context to these (no one has publically) and we have learned how these numbers without context and independent scrutiny are little more than advertising blurb.
Nice to see that we don't need to get invoved in that irrelevant nonsense.

Hi lostinspace69. It may be that one or two investors are still confused about the things you speak of but I think the settled view of the chat board is that we agree with everything you write and are more than comfortable with it
It would be strange if there don't end up being many Antigen saliva tests.
I expect the FDA to start spewing out a few more in the next couple of weeks.
And if they do I believe we are communally well researched enough (whether or not we have by then had our LFT unveiled)not to be any more fased by that than we have ended up being by the news that Heathrow have agreed to assist Mologic with the development of their test.
The arrangement benefits Heathrow it benefits Mologic and for reasons more eloquently put by others than I could it benefits us.

The second meaning is imo more relevant to us now.

Both our BAMS and our LFT tests are optimised to the satisfaction of our CEO who has high standards.
Both our BAMS and our LFT tests are well enough thought of by the government to be on the Condor programme.
The Newspapers have been briefed that our LFT test is one of the cutting edge tests being considered by Heathrow.
Matt Han**** has referenced our test among others as one which could facilitate the Governments ambitious winter testing programme.
Now onto the first meaning of the word "reckon"
I reckon that to have simply rushed to give ourselves a CE mark would have devalued our world beating test disrespected the Condor process and damaged our standing in the eyes of independent observers (not to mention the Government).
I also reckon that to have come out with half baked specificity and sensitivity measurements prematurely and out of context a la SONA would have done us no good for very obvious reasons.
I also reckon that the lack of very recent communication about the LFT and BAMS tests is the ONLY way that AVCT can play this. They are not at the moment in the business of persuading us shareholders or the world at large. They are rather wooing the Government and related "Big Beasts".
Whether or not an NDA exists a World Beating test deserves a proper conception pregnancy and birth.
And the midwives are at the ready!

The majority I suspect are just staying put and enjoying the ride.
Anticipation is part of that enjoyment and I suppose giggling at the troll is a valid pastime while we wait. After all he is not going away and better for him to be spending his time with us than bothering vulnerable people or stalking those he reads about in the newspapers.

Understandably so because of its great fundamentals.
Since the share register does not have a large insti element and we are on AIM it will (some would say must) swing up and down very significantly (but trending up).
All long term holders will have learned to live with this and the inevitable downward swings (while not without their frustrations) will not blunt anticipation.

Mologic partnership was obviously a "non exclusive" one (note the RNS referred to) and therefor irrelevent to the current tests.

I have to say you are an inspiration to me aerial.
Always constant, never flapping, like a bit of humour but with a genuine dose of realism.
If KIBO ever does come good and you get out above your average you will definitely deserve a medal for long service.
I currently am out of KIBO and have been lucky elsewhere but can totally see me reinvesting over the next few months in the appropriate circumstances.

A principle sadly neglected generally speaking on ALL bulletin boards.
We all tend to think think that we know best whether or not we have adequately researched the Covid sector (and research doesn't mean keeping up to date with your particular bulletin board or boards).
Fair enough if you are in for a punt (as I suspect many of the most vocal are) but if you are investing serious money you owe it to yourself to invest serious hours also. All imo.

I have many reasons for experimenting with the Sleepy Covid Exchange until Christmas.
One is to test my conviction that if you invest in a sensible covid stock or a selection thereof it will be almost impossible for you to loose money between now and then. I'm intending to include on future Saturdays the % rise you would have achieved if on 24 July you had split your money 14 ways between all the Covids in the table.
We'll see if I'm right but imo the only question for most Covid investors between now and Christmas is do you make a little profit or a big one.
If SKIN bag again in the next few weeks I wont be jealous. Cos I reckon that long before Christmas AVCT will have done the same or better.

Speaks a lot of sense on Covid tho' (dare I say it more than any current politician I've heard.

They can sell whatever antibody tests they want.
