The race is beginning to hot up and the riders are showing a bit more urgency (well, some of them).
Meanwhile the big beast maintains its spot contentedly and steadily cycling along towards the rear of the pelleton.

From that little rise we had on Monday morning the share price has been as stable as it has been in weeks. As if the market is at peace with itself pending further news.

One of the safest and at the same time most exciting investments on AIM.
There are all sorts of interesting subplots to keep us interested apart from our various inflection points.
One little sideshow is the question of whose Antigen saliva at home lft test is further ahead Avct or Mologic.
We know ours is
a. undergoing tech transfer
b. described by DW as the Sovereign test.
c. targets infectiousness
d. Manufactured in Britain by a British company.
Whereas Mologic
a.tech transfer starts end November (is it their swab test rather than their saliva prototype that will be CE'd before that)
b. little known info (but without affimers can they pull it off - no one else has yet)
c. unknown whether it targets asymptomatic individuals.
d. to be manufactured in Britain by a joint British/foreign venture.
Much banter to come between us and our ODX friends and there is no jeapordy because both companies will be winners.

The point of the article TWatcher is that none of the lfd tests mentioned therein are the Monshot tests. AVCT and Mologic are not mentioned cos both of their saliva lfd tests are still being finalised

Just shows you the lack of suitable tests at the moment.
And did someone not post the order form for BA to fly over the tests ASAP before they were gazumped?
There's no doubt that where testing is concerned its a sellers market.
There's also no doubt that if/when AVCT and the Government finalise our Sovereign test it will blow the doors off.

I had a bit of a giggle at Boris' assurance to us that all the scientists were excited about the progress on testing.
I think that the quote in my previous post is probably Prof Valance being excited!

All we get are vague references consistent with an NDA.
None of the companies in the Mail article imo are the Moonshot ones the Gov is getting excited about although Boris doesn't make things easy to interpret with his excited waffle.

Unintentional deramp

for all of us as we look like approaching a further national lockdown of perhaps a month.
Many of us will be extremely concerned about our personal financial and health issues.
Some will be tempted to come on here and let off a bit of steam.
However I hope as much as possible we can be kind to each other.
It shouldn't be too much of a sacrifice should it?
After all we are only avatars not real human beings with obligations to each other.
Re our investment logic tells us that the Covids will be safe havens.
Maybe however we should not be surprised if in the very short term we are not entirely immune from general market turbulence.
My firm expectation however is that when the pilot batch is announced to be ready we will soar past a pound (and it seems all eyes are on us).

For the first time in a long time I put someone on filter yesterday.

That's a great attitude to have Sadiqbfd.
I actually suspect many of us (including me ) could tell similar stories to you (but we don't want to own up). Some get bitter others allow themselves to have a bit of a giggle about it.
Its much more difficult than it initially looks to make money on AIM.
So when you find a gem imo best to buy and hold.
PS - according to Autumn Watch last night Pine Martins love Custard Creams. Yum Yum!

Your RNS today says that Mologic is evaluating a prototype (not manufacturing pilot batches for validation).
Furthermore if Mologic in terms of your argument (which I'll accept for the purposes of debate although I wasn't aware of such a pronouncement on their part) expect to CE mark by the end of October (in the next 3 days) how does that fit in with an announcement in 4 weeks time?

1. Mologic will not ascribe the ce mark to their Antigen Test. ODX will.
2. ODX cannot credibly ascribe a ce mark until a pilot batch produced after the tech transfer has been validated clinically. You can't CE mark a prototype (which is where Mologic have currently got to!). You need to know you can produce in bulk.
3.AVCT's test is going thro tech transfer at the moment. There is a reasonable expectation that it may be ready in 4 weeks. We have certainly been told to expect it this quarter.
4.So the announcement that will be huge news for the UK within 4 weeks referred to by CK is not as you will possibly appreciate likely to be Mologic saying that they have decided that their prototypes are ready for tech transfer as a prelude to being validated and ce marked.
