Be notified when my third jab was due. I will get that as soon as I can. I just checked my covid passport on the NHS app and it is future dated and I expect will get updated again after my third jab. I suppose if I can’t get the third and my passport expired it would be an issue to travel at some point. BUT that hasn’t happened yet.

In any case the passport is not the answer to managing borders - testing is. Whole different ballgame that which I won’t get started on.

I’m more than willing to admit when I get something wrong. There was a study of one of the vaccines that was published in March that stated 97%. That was for one vaccine though, not all of them. However it has always been the case that reduced efficacy over time and the need to have boosters was being discussed way back in 2020. Vaccines still offer massive benefit way below 97%… there is no failure of the vaccine programme.

I haven’t answered the ProffSPDs question because it isn’t necessary. Docdank has done more than a good job on that. If someone tells me the moon is made of cheese and then I say it isn’t and that person then asks me to support my claim that it isn’t made of cheese - well that person can take a walk.

I never saw a claimed 97% effectiveness rate for COVID vaccines. Sounds made up to me. Vaccines were touted as being very effective from the start which they are and second doses and boosters were known at the start. I was there and my memory is not tricking me.

Also, there is a vaccine + precautions (social distancing, masks etc) + therapeutics and anti virals gang but there is no ‘vaccine or nothing brigade’. You made that up.

Why can’t we keep jabbing? We do for flu. What’s the difference? surely the jabs will improve?

Do we know if vaccine immunity is stronger than natural immunity (by the way there are studies with actual data on that)? Are you suggesting it’s better to get sick with covid to stop getting sick with it again is better than never getting sick with covid?

Why do you think it’s better to take SNG after you are sick than to take the vaccine and never get sick in the first place? Do you know how SNG works?

I’m a long term holder in SNG and I can tell you that the SNG BOD would be absolutely horrified.

Why would anyone doing a google search with the words ‘leaky vaccines’ expect to get an objective set of results? How about checking out some actual scientific research instead? New Scientist is a good place to start.

Being vaccinated reduces the likelihood of you transmitting the virus to another person if you are infected!

If you are vaccinated you are less likely to transmit covid. This is a verified fact.

Did you mean people who don’t need them? Or people who can’t have them?

Society needs people who can have them to have them to protect everyone else. Vaccines work. Not sure I understand what’s inconvenient about having them. I have flu jab every year and that’s not a problem.

You can’t possibly know if there is any actual impact on the SP by posting about it. So I always find the 10p per post or 10p if the SP falls stuff to be nonsense.

However I have become convinced that there are gangs who hit a message board with negativity in an organised way to get SP reductions on AIM. They rock up when the SP is vulnerable and are either shorting or looking forward to a lower entry point. Next time there is a news event that looks like it could have an impact on the SP note how many posters you never noticed before suddenly rock up to tell you how bad things are.

It would be hard to manipulate a stock like SNG in this way but where there is low volume and shareholders are feeling a bit down anyway I think it maybe could.

Am I nuts and imagining this?

One of the things I’m trying very hard to do is to always set a target to realise some profit on every investment - no matter what. I have a target for SNG which will see me taking 25% of my investment out. I feel it in my bones that that money could and should make me more if I leave it here but you cannot ever be certain. I will stick 2 fingers up at hindsight and focus on what I did achieve. I will have taken some profit and will leave the rest to fate and hopefully a bigger reward after P3.

I am very very clear that 3/4 of my current investment is going to go the distance and I have decided what that distance is.

Deciding when it’s time to take profit is I think the hardest part of investing. I’m going to give myself a pat on the back for sticking this out for the best part of 2 years and realising some reward.

By the way. Every day this week there have been bursts of buys and sells. All normal for this stock. We had a burst of sells for 225k earlier this week which were all bought back again within 30 mins. 155k is not unusual.

I respect bbrq's decision to sell a large chunk of his shares. I have sold here before. However I'm sticking around because I think the Paraytec test has a realistic chance of succeeding and it does'nt have to do very well to make me a very significant profit from current levels.

Waiting for news, sentiment, the unexpected etc. is completely normal here.

I get frustration but I don't get that not being a part of investing in AIM right across the board. Everyone can make what decisions they want to make of course but for me nothing has changed in terms of the potential value. It's always been one to test the risk appetite.

I kinda agree but it's better and more interesting than the minute by minute commentary we got when there was nothing happening....

I'll take this 2-5% bumping up every morning from now on. Very happy with that. Up nearly 20% this week.

I don't believe in the manipulation stuff, it's just 'market making'. If there are large orders to fill this is only making a more solid baseline every day. There are always sellers at every level and always more of that when the SP rise - we all have our strategy for profit.
