On this theme. Insiders re material news - whatever that might be - would not be able to discuss it outside the insider group either. So no news can either be no news or news. Not very helpful I know.

However the social media background hum has completely vanished over the last week including Prof Smythe who has not been active on twitter since 7th November. Carl Smith is usually always active on twitter almost hourly.

Ineedmoney - To note that SNG have previously stated that they expect governments would want to stockpile the drug to mitigate risk from future pandemics involving respiratory illness. Highlighting efficacy is not just Covid specific but anywhere when the interferon response is a mechanism.

I think... Closed period only applies to insider trading. So anyone with any knowledge of the pending publication of results cannot trade for the 30 days prior to that. It does not prevent publication of material news at all.

Google is a bit squiffy today. It seems to be changing % rise and fall without the SP changing on a number of stocks. So it's not well.

Trial take up can be very challenging especially (and perhaps counter intuitively) when the hospitals have a lot of Covid patients (or are full for other reasons). Allocating a patient to a trial can become a victim of triage. RM mentioned this as a reason for the delay in completing the trial.

As long as the trial parameters can be maintained it makes sense to have as many hospitals as possible and it will look very good if the results are positive - inclusivity across a large number of nations.

Ive had that feeling today. It's either news coming or I need to visit the ships surgeon..... the latter doesn't appeal.

For me, announcing that due diligence has been confirmed completed by the potential buyer - that they have been working with since May - is a very strong message to the market that EUA expects said potential buyer to progress to a binding offer very soon. That RNS was intended to motivate all interested parties to act and to recognise the current very favourable market conditions - i.e. the assets are very popular right now.

I seem to remember that when the RNS came out with the word 'shortly' in it that some very long term holders thought it was amusing because it had been used by EUA before...... and that it might have been a little nod and joke to shareholders. does anyone recall?

I thought that a firm offer following due diligence had to be notified to shareholders? Not sure where I picked that up and others might know better.

In any case a firm offer that is within the boundaries of what had been discussed under NDA is likely to get things moving. A bird in the hand and all that. Due diligence is owned by the buying party and can be flexed according to urgency v risk. So if there are other parties a firm offer might make a big difference to how much time they spend on that.

I would be surprised if they were not accumulating. If 26p was good enough for the placing they must see big potential uplift from here.

I agree that we could see a big SP change at any time. It's always worked that way. Despite what sometimes feels like a lot of nothing it has always been twitchy. There is just no way to value the SP until the JORC and or details of a sale - so it's all about wanting to be around for a big event and how much risk we associate with that. Plenty of other investors, including institutions, will want in before that if they can time it right.

I can look at practically any other stock on AIM and have the same problem if I bought at a higher price than the current SP.

AIM investment is very risky. I hope we can all get a good return here're but honestly this one is a classic case of how much can you afford to lose and how long can you afford to lose it for. I would be surprised if you don't get that 78% back at some point but whether that is this week or in 5 years time is your risk decision.

From BRH perspective and particularly considering they paid a whopping dividend from an asset sale quite recently and are actively trying to do the same with other investments they are doing the job they say they will.

They have had plenty of opportunity to do exactly that since the placement RNS and at a better price than the placement. I expect they have been doing just that.

How have I struggled with facts? You seem to be struggling with de ramping this company. Telling us what we all know already isn't adding any facts or having any impact. YOU need to have facts to back up the message you are trying to get across. Which is what?

Do you think that there is anyone invested who doesn't already know that? Or that the fact that the recent RNS stated that 'no deal' is possible - because that's absolutely standard wording that any lawyer would insist was included?

We have a temporary slight weakening of sentiment due to the pfizer news but that's all it is. Sentiment will turn back up gain with the last patient dosed RNS. As a number of the more astute posters on here have pointed out.... there is no limiting of SNG's potential due the pills being progressed.

So we can expect a few more of these announcements of pills and treatments. It's all part of the risk. However as I have previously stated - the bar is not high. If a drug with a very good safetety profile can prove efficacy then it will do very very well........ I know of one that's finalising phase 3 trials right now........

It's totally event driven though. It will never look good without one. Question is will be get an event to drive the SP into profit. We will certainly get news.... eventually
