We will get RNS on Bladder Cancer and Sepsis test in November (update promised in previous RNS for November)
We will get update on Covid test - partnering and clinical trial - any time now.
and/or possible sale of Paraytec - not sure how likely but is possible at any time considering discussion ongoing with third parties.

The mystery 50k buyer and seller has been around every day for weeks and its been a bit baffling TBH. Its the additional other trades that are moving the SP out of the range it has held for a while,

They also should not be holding off issuing an RNS until close Friday if they know of a material change now. It seems speculative to think there will be news at the Monday presentation. How long has this event been scheduled - how could EUA line up strategic outcomes to the timing of the event?

However the publicity is good and I'll be happy to be wrong.

There is a no fees platform. I can't remember it's name but it does exist.

To be fair we were all new once and it is very obvious which ones have an agenda.

SP is up nearly 20% over the last 5 sessions. Hardly falling off a cliff.

SP is up 18% over the last 5 sessions. Retracing between news is to be anticipated. Won't make a jot of difference if the SP re rates to the value of a dividend after a sale RNS.

Oldspursfan is correct. You need to be holding shares the day before the ex divi date. apologies.

EUA will declare an ex dividend date in an RNS. That ex dividend date will be after the date of the RNS = in the future.

Anyone holding shares on the ex dividend date will get the dividend even if they sell all of the shares they have on the day after the ex div date.

Payment will be at a date after the ex dividend date.

Important to note that if/when we get the RNS the SP will immediately re-rate to the value of the dividend + what the market believes EUA is worth after the asset sale. So it will be too late to get any value from the dividend once the RNS drops as you will be paying for that value in the SP. Hence you need to be in before the RNS drops and nobody knows when that will happen.

remember that even if SNG is revealed to have 50% efficacy (which by the way is spectacular) it will still be prevention first.

I can see a future where folks in certain age and compromised categories get covid vaccines every year and some others don't but I can't see a future without vaccines - it is simply not ethical to let people get sick first and then treat them.

SNG is providing an important part of the armoury but it is not a cure and not intended to be so. It is a better chance and that's massive but not on its own.

Seasick. I prefer to think that the reason for this is that those elements will be announced separately. If they were still a long way off then it's easier to include everything in one general and vague RNS but if anything the specific exclusion of any update on the JORC and other strategic objectives tells me that news on those elements is close.

Jimtom - I will have done everything i could have done to prevent that unfortunate outcome - and it is easy to do so!

Surely everybody knows that taking the vaccine does not entirely prevent you from possibly getting Covid or passing it on. It absolutely does prevent the chances of you or anyone else becoming seriously ill and perhaps dying. Read the leaflet they hand out within you get jabbed? Maybe ask yourself what the % efficacy means?

Imagine if I decide not to get the booster and I then get Covid symptoms on 26th December. 5 days later a grandparent confirms has got it. 14 days later grandparent dies. Rest of my life I spend wondering if I could have significantly reduced the chance of that happening - did I do everything I could?

BTW we will be staying home most of the week before Xmas too and wear masks where it makes sense to do so.

You get the vaccine because it does exactly what it is supposed to do. Less chance of actual people dying a very horrible death.

By the way I got my annual flu vaccine last week for the same reason. So easy, no hassle whatsoever.

I suspect that there are important caveats that need to be managed ahead of EUA and the buyer agreeing to a binding offer.

Considering that the buyer has confirmed due diligence is done I would expect caveats like - 'we require confirmation of the license agreement for x and Y.' I can't imagine anyone going to a legally binding offer without having certainty on very material outcomes.

We can't see what is left to do. I'm not convinced that the JORC is important to the asset sale as it may be relevant to areas outside of that agreement (i.e. EUA2 will proceed with those assets - not sure). I think todays RNS is an important piece of the jigsaw - maybe the last but we can't know that.

My booster will be due in early December. We have elderly relatives coming to visit over Christmas so everyone eligible for a the booster who is coming for Christmas will have it before then. It's the best way we can give everyone the best chance of being safe.

Another piece of the jigsaw in place. Question is - are there more so settle ahead of meeting 'the buyers' requirements before confirming the asset sale.

Arsenalles. Correct. Its sound governance though. The board can't be seen to be reducing the potential shareholder upside to the dividend. Tax on the sale would likely be small in respect of the overall deal but still millions and they can't just suck that up under scrutiny.

All to play for, I know nothing concrete until we get an RNS but feels like we might be close now.

All becoming quite clear now. EUA needs to tie the sale of the assets (outside of the JV) to news of the value and strategy for the JV. It is necessary for the board to demonstrate that the remaining company has value so that the SP doesnt plummet on the ex dividend date. Just my thoughts as shared previously.

I expect it is more tax efficient to use the fund raise for future retained business rather than use the proceeds from the sale. Also pressure to allocate sale proceeds to the dividend.
