I expect the internal rules that Polar has for it's fund to be very strict. If x and y circumstances re met then do this.

The TR1 only summarise the action up until the reported date so they probably have been selling at the higher SP/ So yesterday was a good day relatively to sell.

They still have about 10m shares for P3 although they may sell more ahead of that if they have time.

Without knowing the price at which they bought the shares its hard to gauge how successful these transactions have been for Polar. They absolutely cannot run a fund on the assumption that every punt will reach maximum potential value - they are not that type of fund manager. Whereas Polygon advertise very clearly that they invest in 'event' driven stocks - they have a different risk appetite.

At a simple level - Polar see the P3 results as a risk to the profits they have in hand. Polygon see it as an opportunity.

So many ways to look at this but most importantly they absolutely do not know more than we do re P3 results. Thyewould have sold the lot.

Look at it like this. How much have Polar spent on SNG shares? How much profit have they made on that? They may be on a free ride now on the nearly 10m shares they have left. They have likely sold some profit to invest elsewhere and that spreads the risk.

I think the drop late this morning was news incoming that Boris was about to cancel plan B. Sentiment exiting Covid stocks.

Short sighted. Covid cases at my kids school and local community higher than ever. But that's OK apparently.

The TR1 only covers trades up to yesterday.

Highest deaths figure since Feb last year.

New cases falling and hospital admission starting to fall a bit. So that's good news but too early to tell if the trend will continue.

Deaths at these levels are horrific. Is this what we can expect next winter with another variant?

The case for being ready with therapeutics is very clear.

Of course the content of any RNS and the market conditions at the time hugely influences sell points.

I still don't get why so many investors are either stay all in or sell out at a certain point.

To answer the £5 question more directly. I have an average of £1.25 so if I sold my original invested amount at £5 I would be on a free ride with 3x my original investment still in. I'm not saying that is what I would do but isn't that something that we could agree is a fairly common sense way to manage both the upside and the downside risk from that point onwards?

Other sensible scenarios will exist of course. Each to our own.

Manifesto - likely trades from 'no fee' platforms. Often see these and even the '1' share trades at the lower end of the bid and the higher end of the ask.

They may not pay fees but they do pay...

Doc83. The reason I suggest they will release the top line results once they have them is because they will be in breach of AIM rules if they don't. Yes it would be good to hold off and get all of those ducks in a row but those logistics are way too complex for them to occur without those top line results ending up with someone else - or at least someone infering what they are. An outcome as material as this has got to be released to the market.

They can manage the logistics after publishing (where they haven't already). It will be interesting times in terms of what the SP does and how volatile things get whilst those logistics are lined up but that's completely normal for a company in this position and we hope they are all nice problems to have.

I hope they have all of the ducks lined up anyway - as much as they can - and from listening to RM previously I think they probably have squared a lot off up until now.

I don't disagree on the timing. I'm just glad to be near to the results as it's been a long haul for so many of us. Exciting times GLA.

erm I'm not upset. Just joining in with my view on what's going on. I happen to think it's likely to be January. I'll happily wait until April if it happens to be what happens. I just don't think it will.

Jedi. I'm in no doubt that when RM said 'early 2022' he meant January. So it will be in January unless something more complicated than they anticipated is delaying interpretation of the data - or logistically it's been harder than they expected to gather the data etc.

IMHO SNG will RNS top line results and probably provide a qualifying note at the bottom of that regarding next steps (e.g. we will now initiate proceeding for EUA and/or we will now finalise manufacture capability for x & y.

They cannot sit on the top line data for any reason. It is too material for it to be tied to other eventualities unless it happens to also be true at that time. As a shareholder - if they try to stage manage the publication of this information - I will not be happy. They won't of course as they are a very professional outfit.

Bennster - I mean it's not material for BRH. It was very obvious that TB was fathering his family nest when they did the placing. At that point you have to accept FAB are going to sell some of those shares at any point in time. But I do not think you do that unless you see value.

But sure - we all have our objectives. Let's see. I have derisked previously and bought back in at lower prices so I'm fairly confident I'll get a return on this.
