Many many more will have significant long term issues due to becoming seriously ill with Covid and that's apart from the awful experience of being admitted to hospital for weeks with breathing difficulties. Very sad.

I think by now that most of us are trying all sorts of rituals to try to invoke the big RNS. Maybe today everyone was trying the ‘turn the light out, stand on one leg, hum the x files theme from 6:50 and no social media until 7:10’ technique?

To me looks like external audit of part of P3 trial approach on back of USA medical authority being asked to admit the P3 data for USA approval purposes.

Saint7 - I don't think so. They didn't say they would wait for that.

We seem to be blowing in the winds of geopolitical news and politics for now. If there was a sniff of imminent positive news incoming I think we would see some action but for now it's going to be like this week for a while.

We could get P3 any day now and I did think that would drive more momentum for the SP but it hasn't. All good though as the P3 results will provide that momentum - just how much will depend on how good the results actually are...

wet dream - I imagine that Polygon will not be at all miffed as they will have been buying yesterday and at 1.75 today and every other opportunity over the last couple of years........ also they have invested in SNG as an 'event stock' which means they expect the SP to be far higher than 2.00 after the event.

HelloSandiego - Completely agree.

Many investors in this situation just sell out of shares so they have cash on the table to invest in the recovery. Not every investor (in fact this is the majority) spend time and effort researching the company and worrying about exactly when the P3 results will land or what they are - they want 10% and they will get it by investing cash taken out yesterday back into recovery stock. It's a no brainer for traders.

Most of us on this board are looking at the far greater than 10% return we expect to see when the P3 results are released and thereafter. So hold or don't - it won't change the outcome.

The P3 results can be released any day now. This is the truth. Nobody here knows exactly when it will be but if it was sometime today or tomorrow morning or next Tuesday or any day from now it would be absolutely within the 'what was said by RM parameters'

RM said something along the lines of 'early 2022'. It is still early 2022. Early 2022 allows SNG to do whatever is required to receive and interpret the data with our chosen analysis partner without having to be concerned with hitting an specific date to please shareholders. There cannot be specific days by day certainty because when RM said it he had not seen the data or what it shows.

Coordinating the capture and release of that data across different nations would have been a specific area of risk from a capture and assessment perspective and I would be surprised if that didn't need at least some work.

Getting stressed about this is not going to help you.

The share price doesn't know when the results will be released or what they will say either.

I completely understood JVTs answer to the specific SNG question. It seems to me he is aware that SNG is in trials and in his answer seemed to speak to the correct usage of therapeutics and the need to understand what that correct usage is.

He is correct to champion vaccines considering the demonstrable success of those and the cost effectiveness both in financial terms and in terms of lives.

I get that we all want SNG to be a success but there was nothing for or against that in this interview. SNG had only published trial results for a few hundred patients and that is not enough. Asking JVT to champion SNG publicly ahead of P3 is not realistic.

GLA. The whole narrative can change when P3 results are published. Fingers crossed. Maybe even in 4 minutes!!

I’ll try and find it tomorrow if there is a recording. I don’t see how JVT can answer specific questions about SNG so close to P3 results even if he knows anything.

It does look like a great team. I guess for those individuals they took a good look at what they were going into and liked it enough to take the chance.

If I compare to my career (not in Pharma) then the first year of employment is always fraught with risk and I have worked somewhere that announced a takeover just days after I joined - I survived immediate redundancy by the skin of my teeth.

Doc83. SNG won't expect anyone to give up a current job until after an SNG job is offered under contract. So the offers would be conditional on both sides. In the context of recruitment, having to wait a few days or weeks (which I would suggest is where we are) for the last duck to line up is not material.

I did think though, when we saw the new roles appear on the web site last week, that it indicated a very imminent release of the P3 data - even if SNG do not know the outcome clearly, they do know they will soon be available. Just enough time to get applications in and line up interviews etc. Therefore what I posted may be academic...

I don't like the SP falling but i do try to keep myself in check - that the SP I'm interested in is the SP after the P3 results and not before. Good luck chap.

Oak - offers can be made conditional of trial results. Everyone in the industry understands how trials work and how the outcome of those trials is not guaranteed.

As was so clearly demonstrated by the 'guess mondays SP after the RNS' thread over the weekend we are all looking out for the SP AFTER the P3 results are revealed. Not todays SP.

Nothing to see today. Market is a box of frogs and sentiment is all over the place. Looks oversold to me. Expect volatility up to and after the RNS (Although from a higher base after I hope!).

Well Eva was certainly a bit marmite but yeah it would be fun to see where she is with all this (not for long though!)

I think pmjh does pop up occasionally but seems to have the ability to always be relevant and doesn't get stuck into some of the arguments the rest of us do (I count myself in that).

I looked in my filter bin recently and note that some previously active screen names do disappear......
