It all depends on what the results say. Does it prevent deaths? what's the hazard ratio etc.

Getting another 500% on just the P3 results requires a repeat of the P2 trial results. It's hard to imagine the possibilities with a readout that good. However if the results show only marginal efficacy (which could still be enough for commercialisation - the bar is not that high) then it's an entirely different situation. Most likely we will see something in-between.

Likely a spike on good news followed by announcements on next steps. Government support (any government but likely USA first), BARDA funding, orders? etc.

For me the best outcome is a buy out - straight share purchase from shareholders. Why? because it removes all responsibility from me in terms of deciding what to do with the shares if the company is successful. Others want to see SNG go it alone and see even higher SP levels on global sales and partnerships.

All the above are nice problems to have....

Elsoi. It seems the market likes the idea of the P3 results being released on a Monday, I can't see one day being better than another personally. SNG won't want to sit on the results and really shouldn't.

Amagedon21. You also called Viv a couple of weeks back. It wasn't hard to do. I was actually surprised that he answered the phone. I felt slightly foolish at first as I led the conversation by pointing out that I felt concerned re the family connection with FAB and how that looks to investors. I think he is exasperated by that view.

Time will tell.

The UK governments Covid response is currently entirely political. Daily cases and deaths still very high. The ZOE figures are worth a look as they take a wider view of available data and the daily cases are in fact far higher than what we see in the official government data and may be rising.

So frustrating re Germany for you. My family has friends in Berlin and we haven't seen them for years now. Not the same as missing your family of course but if we had the Paraytec test in airports we could open up more safely and have real assurance at borders. I hope things improve for you on that front.

Yeah. I was being a bit flippant with the 'in five minutes' bit but in principle....

Point is that SNG are very smart and know what they are doing they will be ready to move to all of the next steps (within SNG control) and won't need a weekend to get ready to publish an RNS - in my opinion at least.

HresHopin. After speaking to Viv I was less inclined to think that FAB know anything. They will have made a small amount on the shares sold to date and still own 3.5% of the company (may be selling more - we don't know). Sounds a bit like my investment strategy TBH. Sell some keep some.

HelloSanDiego. They will have all of that ready to go. They won't need 48 hours to prep anything. We already know that are in contact with regulators about EUA and patent applications are in the public domain.

Everybody can have a view but saying it was going to be in January or February is still guessing. So whatever we say - it's not worth the angst being generated about it.

I just phoned BRH and spoke to Viv. He was interesting to speak to. He has confidence in the Paraytec science (said he was an engineer by trade) but couldn't discuss it in any detail said they were still on the 'journey' with them. I asked him directly about Paraytec and he rightly didn't provide anything of insider relevance.

He acknowledged that FAB is a Brown family business. He reassured me that the share placing was done entirely within the rules, they appointed a broker, worked through the nomad and Viv pointed out that no secret was made of the relationship that Trevor Brown had with FAB from a family perspective. Viv suggested the placing was entirely normal.

He also told me that BRH have no control over what FAB do with the shares (importantly - and this is my input - they must not have any control over what FAB do with the shares). He pointed out that Trevor Brown currently has no dealings with the running of FAB.

When I started the call I stated that the placing and now sale of shares by FAB looked bad. He just pointed out the above in that it was done legally and openly and that they involved a broker in arranging the placing. He did say that a 'lot of nonsense' was being said about the FAB share sales but didn't elaborate.

OK so if FAB is 100% owned by TB then he can go to prison if you report it and it's true.

His grandson is the connection to FAB.

So yes there is a very strong connection and OK we can be cynical right because it's just to good to be true. Agree.

But state facts.

Actually I noted this in the RNS:

'Recent upgrades to the CX300 instrument indicate a five-fold improvement to its limit of detection, following initial testing by Paraytec and the University of Sheffield. Paraytec will next seek to confirm this improvement by the testing of swab specimens from patients with new cases of COVID-19.'

Made me wonder if we might get another update on this before the new study.

They did update us. In an RNS last week.

There is no objective reason for the RNS to prefer a Monday. There is a good chance of it dropping every day now. Market likes the idea of a Monday but......

I certainly do not think that SNG will try to time the RNS for market positioning. If the results are good they will want to just get them out.

Benster. I'm just pointing out how stupid the prolee mantra is. Doesn't understand how investing works.

BRH paid out a very big dividend when the stars aligned. It doesn't look good when TB is so overtly profiting from the process (although you would always expect a director to want to do that otherwise why would we have directors at all?) but it is also quite clearly why he is involved and to an extent why we are here - TB may be very good at finding small cap companies to invest in.

If for example BRH announced a placing to invest say £2.5m in the sepsis arm of the test - what would that mean v the potential for that IP being sold on next year for £xm?

As an investment company I'm expecting BRH to do that type of thing and it's think it's very open about that.

Right now though I just wonder if they have a buyer for the Covid test and whether the longitudinal test is going to make that happen. Last RNS stated it starts before end Feb and they have not asked for funds to support that.

Lot of traders selling out this morning - they will be back later in the week if the pattern remains the same. Buys last Monday/Tuesday am and sold this morning get's you 10%.

For what it's worth - those that don't understand why a company would list on AIM. It's to be better able to raise funds for investment. Placings are not always bad things and if there were one here to get something to market then I wouldn't just look at it a behave like a stupid brat. I would weigh up the pros and cons.

Not that I think a placing is coming right now but I can't see how a company like BRH would never have another one- it's a mechanism they can a and should use tp raise capital when appropriate.

Where does it sate that TB owns 100% of FAB books. We have had an RNS stating he has no involvement in FAB.
