Amtech is correct in the debate regarding whether quarterly is every 3 months from the last revenue update or quarterly as per the financial calendar. If the latter then we should have got a Q3 update for Jan - Mar. If they are waiting to end of Q4 to give us a Q4 update they will have bizarrely missed out 2 months performance....

It would be more professional and make sense to report quarterly inline with our financial calendar but they already have failed to do this for Q3. If you say you will announce quarterly revenue you can't then choose which quarters to update on and which not to.

As City says you can engage with the board and he has inspired me to do so. I will ask this question. It should not be market sensitive to provide your reporting calendar upfront.

How is this only 10% down on the back of that RNS? Anyone left holding today onwards really has no right to sympathy when the inevitable “that’s all folks” RNS lands in the next few weeks/months

Wow. We are reduced to RNS’ing when we have a positive write up by a university! Is this material news which may effect a share price? Are we obliged to report this by regulations? How much commercial revenue is this report going to directly deliver (this year or next year)?

A professional partner (QFI) wouldn’t start procuring items for a contract until the contract was signed…

They may as well just say “placing coming soon”

The most nothing RNS I have ever read. Even price monitoring and block listing RNS contain more detail.

Sounds like they have all been chugging along having a few meetings and that’s about it.

Anyway. I know you don’t like people declaring when they sell on here but as it is not your forum to referee so I will do so anyway - sold the other 2/3rds of ISA this morning. Have kept a small holding in SIPP (easier to have a more throw away attitude to money I can’t access for another 15 years I guess.).

Look forward to the good news/bad news RNS at beginning of June.

For balance - upon re-reading the most recent RNS’s I was surprised by the low cash burn. Maybe we are further from a raise than I suggested on Friday?

When I challenged in the Q&A whether we would get an RNS at the end of April to update us on the self declared targets they partially avoided it by answering that there would be a strategic review the outcome of which would require an RNS.

So no news is exactly that - no news (not delayed good news). If they had got further signatures they would have been obliged to update the market without delay. They are not obliged to immediately release an RNS if they have not hit a target they provided during a presentation.

I suspect the Valkor agreement is all we got in April and they are now having meetings in May to decide how to best pit together an RNS that makes this look like success.

Go through my posting history and you will see I have been here for at least 2 years. I have fluctuated between v large holdings (for me) to small (current situation).

I am clearly not going to post a negative view point prior to selling (although the chances that something I say are minuscule that it would effect sp). I would much prefer to see an sp increase from here so no not trading. However if the sp declined next week rather than kicking myself for being duped again I would quietly congratulate myself on de-risking.

I had a couple of questions in the Q&A one of which was where I challenged that all their graphs and timelines were based on best case scenarios with no contingency for it not all happening and he was quite dismissive even though it literally was “best case” as in the what could top all deals being signed within the next 30 days? If you want to re-watch the presentation then my name is Andrew which he name checks. You can tell by my questions that I was sceptical then… 30 days later looks like I could have been right albeit justifiably an RNS on tues morning saying deals done would qualify as April.

Well I’ve derisked again selling about a third of my shares yesterday and today.

I would have get very gullible and stupid had I not and then no news materializes on Tuesday. It obviously may well do and turn out that I have limited my gains but that would be measuring vs the outcome rather than the decision at the time.

Let’s see… i have always believed Morocco to be dead since the update previous to last. MSC and the new ventures they mentioned are the ones that have half a hope of getting progress. Utah was a promising RNS but left gate open for more disappointment and if that is all we have come May then they have once again tried to avoid a tricky Q&A with optimistic targets rather than just get real with us.

Remember the premise of not needing to raise was on these deadlines being his to enable commercialisation to kick in before money needed….. so we can’t really be chilled about April becoming May and May becoming June unless you want a placing at sub 2p.

Left enough in so if my negativity is misplaced I will still be happy but once again my qfi holding is not large enough that it can hurt my PF.

Even the non covid testing revenue is down vs last year! Shocking RNS.

Anyone can list a load of waffle and declare £100k target for 5 years away. 5 years is such a flimsy timescale. When has a company ever stick to a strategy or a CEO for 5 years.

Glad I got out a month ago or so. Always kept an eye on as thought could be another entry but too depressing to come back in.

As much as I am interested in the 2021 results and the potential divi they may decide to give I think a far more powerful boost to short term SP will be if they confirm everyone’s back of a fag packet calcs with a Q1 trading update.

Doesn’t look like they do these normally but would it be out of the question to make an exception this time given how powerful a message it will send.

Even if the Results gives a high profile mention to post period trading….
