TBH there were some big gaps on the weekly that had opened up after the latest rally in oil. They are now closed, providing we close the week out here or below. On the plus side there are countless red gaps above us, all over the daily and the weekly, yes it's only charts but they have a 100% fill record going back to 2001 (on this chart). They range from $73 - $120 on brent.

This might be capitulation on oil. A final flush out. Mid 60s on brent?

I feel quite relaxed about it all.... for now.

Tullow is looking cheap now, that's true. But its riddled in problems.

To compare Tullow to Harbour is not a realistic comparison anymore imo. Other than they both operate in the oil and gas industry and they are both listed in London. That's where the similarities end.... imo.

Needs to get above and stay above 220p i think, before we're out of the woods. Very vulnerable down here.

There is a long triangle pattern dating back to the highs in 2022 on brent and WTI. The price has bounced off support numerous times, it has no where else to go in the pattern now and will break out in the next few weeks, one way or another, its coming. Being a believer in oil I favour breaking to the upside but the move is going to be BIG (according to the charts which might all be nonsense).

Some more bullish chart speak - Going back even further to the break out in oil in 2020 from a triangle pattern that started forming in 2008, this second triangle pattern has been building up energy, I remember a similar pattern in BTC a few years back, 2 down trending triangle patterns one after the other, and the break out of that second pattern was huge. If oil acts the same way, $200 brent would be a minimum target.

But that could all be coincidence sprinkled with confirmation bias. GLA.

Slim bought and decent lump of PBF energy last year when he was topping up HBR and Talos, however he is still taking little bites buying PBF energy in recent days, which is getting carted too -

Morning Stupmy. To be honest i'm preparing for the worst and hoping for the best.

The left shoulder on the daily and weekly goes back to the announcement of the WD deal, the top of the head is the Jun 24 high and the right should is Jan rally. It looks filthy tbh, and I hope it doesn't play out.

But i'm clinging to the fundamentals either way, at $65 brent HBR cover their div twice over. But this share price action all seems bizarre, and beyond frustrating.

Perhaps we are all missing something..

I hope I'm wrong but that's the level the H&S plays out at. Give or take.
