I'll take or leave TA - that being said however, given the strong (ish) fundamentals of Harbour being shrugged off by the market I'm willing to widen my gaze.

Looking at the 4hr, daily and weekly charts, all are now showing bullish divergence on the RSI. So, providing a big selloff doesn't occur in the next few days (which it could given that state of oil prices currently), i do believe a trend reversal will soon be upon us.

Or not..

I am mean its having a little run the day before our trading update, which made we think I wonder if we'll get an announcement tomorrow that a potential merger/acquisition is on the cards. Wishful thinking.

But all the information on Harbours involvement in CC can be found within pretty much every earnings report and trading update from Harbour Energy. I'm surprised you would have bought shares without at least glancing at these reports, but each to their own, I'm not judging.

I don't think it's meaningless at all. The acquisition is more than likely the reason the share price has shown much more resilience compared with the likes of EnQuest and Tullow. Even BP, Aker BP etc all of which are down much more from their highs in 24. Pre acquisition Harbour would have probably fallen 35% with Tullow. But that's just my opinion.

One things for sure, at $80 brent Harbour Energy are effectively printing money. I feel more calm and assured about Harbour than ever before, it's just a question of time.

But hey, what do I know, I could be wrong.

EnQuest and Tullow are down 35% from their highs this year. Harbour is down 15%.

Why the F is HBR down when Brent is almost up 2% and WTI is over 2% ?
