Its hardly a huge gamble. There is a process to follow and checklists of requirements to pass. Tick all the boxes, pass all the tests it will be awarded. Its in KIBO's hands to meet the requirements.

OK Boff so why would the Govt not award KIBO an SML? What technical / political / economic reasons. Cant have it both ways. Its hardly blind optimism and I am sure many posters on here could come up with factual and circumstantial reasons why they believe it will be awarded. The only reason it hasn't been to date is the change in legislation.

I suspect the reason most of Africa has little or no electric is due to white colonialism as much as African corruption.

If the SP is at 10p in the coming months then I suspect we will have the SML / PPA and FC.

For what its worth I think the GoT are trying to do the right thing which is very much big picture / long term / joined up thinking rather than rush to several disconnected projects that are poorly designed / conceived / funded etc. That takes time.

Has anyone contacted LSE regarding the RNS of the 3rd July and why its missing on their site. Its pretty fundamental to this debate and annoying its not here to refer to. As for what SEPCO will buy in at .... well I like large round numbers and the heart says over 20p and the head says upto 10p. So I will go for 9p (and hope I have dramatically underestimated).

Well if they owe £300k and the deal does through they get £300k if the shares are valued at 5.25p or more, if not they will be short by a few grand.

Yes we all wnat SML / PPA but to stand still and do nothing whilst the GoT gets its arse in gear .... that would be criminal

That wasn't my intention. Both have LTH and punters & although I don't hold both I am watching with close interest. My point was simply it could be quite tempting for anyone looking for a quick profit to buy on the back of that RNS based on the 10p option. I also hope they do well but would prefer it if KIBO did better than NCCL

Anyone want to share any thoughts or dare I say it predictions on the weeks ahead.
