It also makes you wonder why people bother to share information. Attend AGMs and ask questions on peoples behalf, travel to London, try and put a detailed and balanced account ouit oin the BB for others.
oh I forgot its because everyone has an agenda .... silly me ...... or perhaps just perhaps they have a genuine desire to share what they know with others on a matter where people have a shared interest.
Well I am a member of a private chat forum for other shares I invest in and a facebook group / twitter message group for one other primarily for the very reason I suspect one exists on KIBO and will continue to grow in that LSE / ADVFN cannot / will not or are unable to provide what most investors want.
"I personally think the leaving of all the usual rampers will actually allow debate, allow new posters in and ultimately up the SP."
So now the people you disagree with or find disagreeable with have left that's better is it. You are so full of contradiction and bitterness.
Christ can no one be positive? Do you really think people bought in on the back of others comments withoiut doing their own research? If they did then more fool them.
I am so glad we have you around to police the silly ramps
As for JD being banned there is clearly someone or some people here with their own agenda and it STINKS because I don't think its related to the share price / shorting or their investment but personal and petty
No different from a number of other posts saying its miles away and the TG is in reverse etc that are not reported or removed.
As much as I might disagree with them and somethimes they get me a little wound up they just represent a different view. Drax asked who we would like to remove from the board. I can only think of one who is prepared to engage in a discussion / debate.
Sym some good reasoned points there. May explain why the Govt is dragging its feet on PPA. I think the SML is simply down to embedding the new process.
If I thought morecambe could win the premiership I would put money on it.
It would be a bit like investing in kibo, Drax, with the belief that the TG has no interest or desire to improve its energy infrastructure / supply.
Evidence that the Govt is not serious about energy? Clearly they are just securing finance for these projects so they can hang their washing on a very big line

Financing agreement for the Tanzania-Zambia Transmission Interconnector signed.
https://twitter.com/WBTanzania/status/1037966970380017664

It’s down to LC if the license is refused. It’s down to the TG to approve. Kibo have followed the new process. To suggest it could have been issued yesterday is frankly absurd.
Looking at the energy situation in Tanzania - past / present and future - its clear there have been many challenges in the past ... over reliance on hydro (during droughts) and TANESCO to name a couple.
I would urge people invested here to look at the broader picture in Tanzania and the long term steps the Govt backed by various national / international agencies and corporations are trying to take to create a sustainable solution. It is completely misleading to make a sweeping statement or suggest that the Govt is not progressing with improving energy supplies.
No one can argue that the pace of change is frustratingly slow (although how many would actually care about the pace of change or the people of Tanzania if they didn't have money in KIBO) but there is progress non the less.
A bit of background reading will give you the context and the background to why KIBO is well placed to take advantage of these changes.
Lets not forget there are a number of pre-conditions that have to be met by the end of Sept. Not least "SEPCOIII completing a due diligence investigation on Kibo and its project portfolio as required by SEPCOIII internal procedures". As with SML / PPA its not all in KIBO's hands.
Isn't that though the point. They have dolled these out willy nilly in the past and shot themselves and their populace in the foot. I also understand it needs Cabinet approval which yes I guess they could convene one specially. There is a new and more robust process in place and they would be daft to drop it at the first hurdle.
Boff I really cant believe you'd be happy with 5.25 (or less) just to have them onboard and gift them first refusal on all future contracts. You berate LC for not adding shareholder value but would thank him for giving 10-15% of the company away for peanuts. We could get the cash raised at 5.25p form other sources with no strings attached!
I am not saying it cant or wont be 5.25p (very unlikely IMO) but for the record I would not be at all happy
