Deadly, I think you are confusing lies and incomplete truths. There seem to me to be so many different elements to an application that it’s only over when every last question has been answered satisfactorily and every T crossed and I dotted. Westmarket may well have made their initial submission in January but we now know that the Environmental plan has only just been agreed to allow that element to be submitted alongside the plan. As said, these things take time and just because someone asks for more information or clarity it doesn’t mean that there is duplicitous activity afoot.

I assume that the environmental plan is the key missing data required for approval of the well plan which is still on hold pending input from applicant. If the environmental plan is accepted within the usual assessment timescale the well permit should follow within a few days (I believe this needs higher approval before issue). So you’d hope for good news this month definitely although possibly not this week!

Most of the road will just need re-grading, levelling back with a blade to even ruts and washboard. Where water has washed away sections this will need either new material or existing recovering prior to grading. Whilst there may be some bad sections requiring more work, the majority won’t need a lot of work to permit access. It’s not like they’re not used to the roads over there! Same applies to the airstrip. A few weeks work probably, no more. If you have visions of miles of pristine tarmac think again!

Well I have to confess I fell for that one, certainly wasn’t expecting the raise announcement lurking behind the good news one. I do feel a bit like I’ve been played. Let’s just hope there is more substance to come.

There’s more trading than I anticipated, could be a busy day as the RNS is absorbed and minds get made up one way or the other! 10p by the end of the week.

I’m surprised there are many shares to buy. There will be some as the traders exit for their profit and a few who will bail out because they’ve not got the nerve but this could dry up very soon if one or two big players decide they want in.

Remarkably, even without the permit AH has managed some good news. So pleased he’s been busy these last few months and not sitting in the dark dreaming up schemes as some seem to think. This is all very positive and following the course of events he’s been suggesting. Sell at the well-head, off-take agreement including working capital etc. Just need the permit to be able to hit ‘Go’. The SP should hit 10p on this alone!

So there seems to be some resistance, a glass ceiling at £7 but as said, the yield is the reason for being here

Well Deadly, what I was really getting at is that the price has fallen from most recently say 10p to the current 5p largely driven by the slow progress and negativity from individuals who are actively pursuing what appears to be personal vendettas against AH. I’m sure he’s not the only ‘dodgy’ businessman on the planet, far from it, but he’s seemingly operating within the law and has a considerable stake in the company. I’m happy to support him and I believe there is sound investment potential in GEX. You can believe what you will and say what you like as far as I’m concerned, I make my own decisions for good or for bad.

Well I can’t argue with that Evers, either way it’s a case of get out or dig in and expect a bit of a wait. You might get lucky or you might get very lucky, but only if the permit lands and you’re patient.

I’m really struggling with what is going on here. This is a £5 share atm in my view, and every time it recovers slightly it gets traded back down again. Operational performance is improving, technology is still in the market leader category, hard to see why this is so vulnerable to being traded. Oh well, I’m neutral and still believe in a brighter future so onwards and upwards!

I’m slightly staggered that the SP remains so low given the potential and the current state of play. There has been so much negative posting about the BoD and the lack of working capital yet the potential remains as enormous as ever. Granted things have taken time but some patience has to be needed surely?! The RNS clearly suggests that the plan to sell at the well head and get up-front funding from the partner which puts to bed all the bleating about the need to raise more capital and dilute the existing stock. At some point this is going to value up and those holding will be very happy! I don’t think it’s at all surprising that trading is slow and there are very few shares available to buy. I predict a good Christmas perhaps.

Not many shares to trade again and more buys than sells but only small numbers. Big buyers need more to go on than today’s RNS, sellers hanging on for a larger gain. I expect this will drift on expectation for the rest of the week, mainly upwards to maybe 7p. Still all hanging on the permit!

So agreed there isn’t actually any positives news as such but it confirms a lot about his approach and if he’s had an interested party then clearly it’s a possible solution to the next funding issue.

All buys this afternoon and a slight up-tick. NT to buy being reported, news pending? Has something gone down in Aus that we now have to wait until Tuesday to hear?

Surprised to see the SP dropping despite the good news. Clearly Ukraine not helping but what has changed to cause today’s dip down? When are the next results due BTW?

The focus on MW is possibly because there is nothing to report on Hussar. If all the Hussar info has now been provided (as we are led to believe) it’s just waiting for the wheels of government to proceed. Whilst that is happening they are focussing on getting their cash MW application progressed too. TBF there probably isn’t a huge amount more to be done other than wait for approvals, alas that’s not very exciting and the market is twitchy to say the least

I think it’s clear that he’s just trying to keep investors on side by providing up-dates, although as ever these are not exactly statements of actual progress. The good news is that although we’ve not moved forward, there have been no knock-backs and the plan is still the plan. We simply have to let things take their course. I appreciate that there seems to be a financial hole looming (even assuming the drilling it funded) but waiting isn’t burning cash as there are no resources and minimal staff employed. He seems to have a plan to put the onus on the off-taker to fund their work up front, presumably getting their cash back from initial revenue flows. That makes a lot of sense as GEX are the speculators here and not the company that’s going to operate the well.

A disappointing day in that the RNS did nothing to inspire confidence and halt the general malaise. I do hope the intention was simply to inform because if they expected to kick the market into action they misread the room badly. Hoping for an update to show on the DMPE site shortly and a swift issuing of the licence within a couple of weeks.
