It’s all semantics I know, but the Well Plan has been approved and that news was the subject of an RNS. It’s the environmental management plan and the licence issue we are awaiting news of and who knows if AH already has the licence in his pocket?

Is this a bit of brinkmanship by AH? Holding back the good news until the week of the AGM so he can ride a wave of positivity into the meeting? I do really hope so, if not this is going to be all rather unpleasant!

The well plan for Hussar 2 has been approved however, the drill permit is conditional on the expanded environmental plan being accepted. I’ve no idea how this is progressing. I rather assume that the original was approved but it requires revising to account for the expanded area. Does anyone have any idea what is holding this up?

You can buy now at 6.5p. Or, when the conditions are met and the licence granted you can buy for probably double that, maybe more. The AGM is on 6th August, will the licence come before or after? And, will the AGM announce a placing? So, I’d suggest that if you have stock atm you hold fast, if not you might want to wait a week or so. Bottom line is you can buy at any time, it all rather depends how much you want to pay!

When you put it like that a raise at 5p should be easy. Unfortunately those of us in at a higher average will fell a bit disgruntled to say the least! Oh well, I could buy more I guess!

No, I’m still in and agree that this will in all likelihood get there in the end, we just need patience. However, I’m disappointed because I believe that there will need to be a raise and that the SP going into the AGM will be a big factor in how this all plays out. Good news in advance will pull up the price and make a raise easier and reduce the level of dilution required. With the current SP we get a raise at 5p which nobody wants when we all know it should be nearer 20p. Comms from AH has been a bit weird, all a touch too casual and not specific enough. As a consequence there’s been too much speculation about what’s paid for and what isn’t etc. He’s been rubbish with setting expectations and not providing realistic timelines either. As a consequence, it’s been a bit too easy to paint the whole as a negative picture by picking holes in it. I remain optimistic however!

well the silence and absence of trading tells you all you need to know this morning. no rns, agm just around the corner, sp stuck at not quite rock bottom but as near as damn it. most now locked in for the ride which doesn’t look like it’s going to be much fun atm. there’s a distinct “someone ****ed on my chips” atmosphere on the board!

The closer we get to the AGM date without a positive announcement on the drilling, the twitchier holders will be that a raise will be required at below the current SP. This needs to fly so the raise is at 12.5p or more, ideally 20p. There is a danger that this will crash to nothing next week if Hamilton fails.

I can’t help but worry that ultimately AI will simply normalise everything in life, reducing risk and increasing certainty until our existence is all a nice shade of beige. Maybe in creating climate change we’ve given ourselves a lifeline? Sorry, that’s rather a deep post from an infrequent contributor.

The copper will still be there though and it won’t have lost any value. Granted it may be a while but there will come a point in time when America needs that copper!

I’m pretty sure that if this was a US company it would be valued a great deal more. We have a bizarre reticence here when it comes to balancing the +ves with any -ves and invariably focus on the -ves as the more likely. Much like the government now trying to get people interested in investing in shares rather than cash ISAs. Years of being indoctrinated, “share values can go down as well as up”, ergo avoid like the plague. Only a short while back, at the slightest hint that Amazon might be interested, the SP sky rocketed as the market reacted to the possible value proposition for Amazon. So why is it a mere fraction of that value today? Granted the financials aren’t exactly dazzling, but the potential is still enormous! I’m anticipating this is the start of a long but steady haul up hill and that the SP will continue to grow. At some point there may even be another rumour!

Not a lot to say about today, buys balanced out with sells I think. The spread may have reduced too, not sure if that signifies anything particularly. I would hope we’ve bottomed out and won’t see this dip under 7 to buy again.

It may seem that way but it usually recovers to pre-divi levels quite quickly. It’s just natural hysteresis stopping people trading just for the divi. Most stocks offering a high yield tend to be stable anyway generating modest growth

Indeed, in some respects no news is good news as it keeps the trolls quiet. All still simmering away, hopeful of something positive by the end of the week or first thing next, really need to full approval.

Raising £15m will involve quite some dilution at 7p a pop! Good news required soon!

The AGM is still the best part of three weeks away so plenty of time for updates and progress to be reported. I can’t see AH being happy going into the meeting with the SP at its current level so I think we can be confident he’s pushing hard. Although current activities may be funded there is going to be a need for more working capital ahead of any revenue being generated. Whether this requires a placement or not will become very apparent shortly. If we hear that the permit has been approved and an off-take agreement signed the picture will look very different.

Ooh, now I read the FT today and didn’t see that in my digital version! “Legal Services” eh?! Sharks the lot of ‘em!

Well that depends, if you’re already in at a higher average than the current price you’re likely to be more inclined to hold on for longer. If you’re dabbling than maybe buy now and sell on the spike. AH will want the placing as high as possible for obvious reasons, however, with the drill approved there are other possible routes to securing funding for the next steps. Difficult to second guess this one!

Well this week is shaping up as predicted, a little run earlier but that’s died back down and we’re back at par waiting on news. If you wanted in or a top-up best do it soon, this won’t last. AH can’t afford the drill approval not to land before the AGM, when it does this will run!

Nothing humble about your opinion Pricey, simply regurgitating the same old line that 2/3rds of the posts on here for the last few weeks have been pedalling. It’s boring, repetitive and all rather one-eyed. Get on board, find something interesting to contribute or be genuinely humble and exit stage left!
