Yup, buys coming in now. Nobody wants to miss the boat, will double when it gets full approval and will still be cheap. It’s hit bottom and is going up from here quite literally while stocks last! It will be interesting to see who elects to sell and take a small profit when we all know a bigger one is on offer!

It looks that way Pompey, welcome William! Sells have dried up for the moment, if you wanted in at 6p you may have missed the boat!

7p to buy up to 5k but not able to trade a larger volume

Well not a very positive reaction so far so well done with the negative pressure WP! However, can’t buy any quantity at all atm so with no shares available the positive pressure will build and the SP will only go in one direction from here

Granted it’s not the full go go go news we’ve been wanting, but the reality is that it’s a big step to have approval with conditions. Just like getting planning for a house and you’d certainly celebrated getting planning although that usually has a load of conditions too. The remaining approval is subject to the environmental plan with the indigenous groups, this is an expansion of the previously approved and in the interview AH commented to this effect. Fingers crossed that happens soon and we get the green light. For now though we know that at least one new obstacle has been cleared from the path. Onwards and upwards!

Well that’s the week out and no unpleasant last minute changes. Not much volume and a couple of small ups and downs but closed with little change. Should be like this for a few days before things hot up with pending news on the permit. AH must know everything hangs on that at the moment so I’m sure he’ll be pulling all the levers he can to answer any outstanding questions. Still simmering I note. Big spread because more people want to buy in than want to sell? Supply and demand and all that, tells you everything really!

This will simmer away around 7p for a few days and then pressure will start to build in anticipation of the well permit approval. When that comes good the price will double and there will be a good number who will miss out.

Well the rot has stopped because the interview shifted the perspective on the need for a placing to get to the well permit. GEX not so desperate for cash that nothing more can happen so there won’t be a bargain placing at 5p. That being the case nobody is minded to sell cheap and we’re stuck until more buyers force the price up.

Hard to see it heading south again in a hurry. The price is crazy low given the potential. Nobody will want to sell at this price when it could double in a day or two. There are so few shares not in the hands of the long-term optimists that anyone wanting to buy-in now will have to pay a premium. If the well approval comes through a placing at 20p would still find buyers!

Oh why didn’t I top-up at 6.1p? I genuinely thought 6p was the likely bottom and I missed out. Oh well, I’m not the only silly boy on here!

If the placing happens after the permit has been granted there is every chance the SP will have risen and the placing will be at a premium. With the permit in place a potential major obstacle will have been overcome and investment will be much easier to come by. It’s not impossible that a take-off deal may come with a cash advance if it’s just a case of tapping the well. Don’t hold off thinking the placement will be at a song, it almost certainly won’t unless Hamilton has completely run out of cards to play and I’m not sure he’ll want to get it all wrong again. My hunch is that this will come good. Others feel this is a disaster waiting to happen. They’ll be as happy taking my money as I will taking theirs, no love lost, just winners and losers at the end of the day.

However, if the permit does land, the first ones in will buy at a bargain price! All for a balanced view me! I don’t want to be accused of ramping/de-ramping!

I think you’ve nailed it there Legal. Sh*t or bust with the permit, this is going to the wire.

6.1p to buy, 5.55p to sell atm. Not going anywhere! Hamilton & Co need to make some statement of progress on the critical path to a revenue stream, well permit, off-take agreement, additional working capital secured etc. Mt Winter is for tomorrow, Hussar is where it’s all at and progress is invisible today!

Brilliant update that bodes well for some point in the future. What we desperately need is that well permit to get us out of the doldrums!

The well permit is the key for me and I suspect everyone in fact. Once that’s in place everything can move forward. Funding for the drill, if not already provisioned, could come from a number of sources not only a placing. Once actual flow data is available things will move at a pace. Most investors probably realise that and they will pile in when the permit is announced forcing the SP to leap upwards. Until then however, we are in the doldrums despite efforts to drum up enthusiasm with “good news” postings that offer jam tomorrow but nothing tangible today. Buy-in now before the well permit is approved or rue the missed opportunity.
