That’s great news, however, SOP-WLA-0193 Well Application for Hussar-2 is still on hold at the assessment stage pending info required from the applicant.

Indeed, easily done. Anyway thus far our key application for a drilling permit for Hussar-2 looks to have been lodged on 9th May, passed screening and progressed to assessment by the relevant specialists/authorities. It would seem that they have requested more information and so the application was put on hold on 28th May pending receipt of said information. Once their questions are answered we should expect a determination. The good news is that the application progressed from lodgement to assessment in 3 weeks so DEMIRS seems to be processing things in a timely manner. Assuming then that Westmarket (GEX) provide the missing information swiftly, we might expect some good news in the next three weeks just in time for the suspension to be lifted. Or, we could all be crying into our beer!

I believe this is the key permission for Hussar.

So the applications were dated 8th April and DEMIRS target processing time is 65 working days. By my reckoning (I can’t be sure about holidays in Aus) that means the end of the first week of July is when we might expect to see a conclusion. There are a number of steps so these should update in the next few weeks. It’s a good job I’ve got a couple of weeks off in the middle of June because there isn’t going to be much happening news wise for a while.

Thanks Silver, I’m a happy amateur I confess although I do a bit of research I admit that I am taking a punt here based more on sentiment than detailed knowledge. Most of my portfolio is in safer stocks (if there is such a thing). I came across GEX about 15 months ago and bought in small. Since then I’ve added on the dips recognising the huge potential . You might see me as an ignorant gambler and yes your advice is pertinent and acknowledged, I’m not sure I’m up to that level of researching though. Anyway, you seem to think this will ‘fly out of the traps’, good enough for me!

Of course there are risks and associated red flags, if there weren’t this would have a money back guarantee. Most of us realise this and are prepared to accept the risk for the potential reward. Tommy, on the other hand, seems to get his kicks from goading people and saying ‘I told you so’. Frankly Tommy it’s all a bit dull and unnecessary. I like my rose-tinted specs, there’s nothing wrong with being positive and up-beat about things, maybe you should try it sometime.

Yup, a flurry of sales first thing but now the buyers have moved in and are mopping up. SP looks flat at 7p

I just had a Quick Look and it’s still 7p to buy (well a fraction under on HL) so it’s not tanked in quite the way many seem to have been suggesting. Sellers will be out and gone by now so I can’t see it dropping too much more. Not that it matters if you plan to hold but it does suggest there aren’t too many rats that think the ship is sinking!

It will be interesting to see who sells and who holds. I’m already slightly negative and intend to sit tight. I’d imagine there are a good number in the same boat as me. Most people are in a loss position I’d have thought so do you really want to cut and run?

I’m intrigued by the triggers for SP movement. Some will be fuelled by anticipation and demand, some by milestone achievement. At some point the potential will become a reality, maybe with the first confirmatory flow results, maybe when the off-take operation starts in earnest. So what do we need to get to 50p? Similarly, if the target price is £1.45 what does it take to get there. And, at some point id the fully de-risked target is £17 something, what does that take? Potential is one thing but understanding is important and it’s easy to speculate about what but in reality the other half of the question is when?

Agreed, great to have something positive to reassure the investors that there is work on-going and progress being made, slightly disappointed there is no sense of timing for any of the works. Having said that, I understand why, if the key permissions are the controlling factor and they are out of the companies hands, but none-the-less I’m a little disappointed. Fingers crossed we get more soon.

It does and there are hints of progress but nothing concrete. I’m afraid I dislike this sort of wishy-washy up-date where the reader has to consider the tense of the sentence structure to glean any changed/new information. I’m simple, I like to see dates and targets and they are conspicuous by their absence here. We must be due a financial update at the end of the month but I doubt there’ll be anything more in the short term.

Very happy to see the SP dwindling on the back of nothing, simply offers a chance to increase my holding. My buy limit order is in place at 7.5p. Bring it on!

I’d willingly sink another £5k at 7.5p, it’s worth a lot more and will hit 15p at the first sign of progress, easy money for the patient!
