So this is the Well application not the Exploration Permit. Not sure quite what this means though. The Demirs website says it has a target time of 21 working days for dealing with ‘well activities’! I’m assuming this is indication of progress if not necessarily ‘good news’

We’re still stuck at 10p and going nowhere! In my mind I had May as the month we started to see things happen. As soon as we start seeing announcements of progress this will all change but I guess for now we’ll just have to sit tight. Half way through May now. Come on GEX, lets have a progress update, the new website is very nice but I was hoping for more by way of action!

Worried? Not me, I’m in for the ride long-term. Now were I a day trader with my money tied up then maybe!

I suspect that, although today’s news is all very interesting, it’s all just ‘even more jam tomorrow’. At the first hint of actual ‘jam arrival’ news the SP will start to respond

Yeah, and nice to receive an alert first thing rather than spend five mins logging on here to find there’s nothing (or something even). The new website is a very important shop window and indicates that some thought has been put into the company PR and the way information is managed to potential partners and investors. It just builds confidence in the company when the small things are being managed well.

We should be getting some positive news sometime soon. May on Thurs, and lots seems to have been rolled into May dates so when it comes it could be thick and fast. Until then the SP won’t move too much, I’m fairly confident in that.

Well a whole morning of buying seems to have pushed the price on, will it stick?

Mmm somehow it all appears to be well thought through and designed to reward those parties contributing to success. Lets hope it happens!

Will they be available to the market or awarded to the BoD do you suppose?

Ok so another 25% dilution. Still, if we’re looking at a 10+ bag it’s not significant and it’s the price to pay for them delivering on our behalf.

Ah yeah, I do get that, crystallising your gains. But really? At this stage? With so much more on offer? You’re probably right and I’m hopelessly optimistic. It just all feels a bit weird at the moment with completely different patterns of trading each day. Most peculiar to me.

It does seem to be very quieter atm (‘I don’t like it sir, it’s too quiet”). The volume of trading is minimal as a proportion of the 60+mm shares in issue. If there was something afoot I’d expect to see much more volume.

Thanks Jeremy, that makes good sense. I suppose the next question will be if and when they intend to bid as I imagine they must having bought so heavily and declared. Will the BoD have sufficient backing to resist or have they lost all credibility. You’d hope they would at the very least try to push the offer price up!

We are still seeing 20% of all trades in single figures, what are they all about? Otherwise it looks like there’s been an increase in the size of trades with many more in the 100k shares bracket. I’m not sure if that indicates a change in the overall holding strategy but I suspect we will see pressure build and then vent throughout the day and some fluctuations in SP. I really hope there is some positive news soon, this stock needs to break the stranglehold of whatever is stopping it rising.

Well I’m sure you’ll all be delighted to hear that I managed to buy back in in the dip at 0.2p more than I sold for so I’m happy. Moving from F&S to SS ISA achieved! The SP can rocket now please as all my holdings are protected from Rachael in accounts for now!

Can anyone explain the reasoning behind Science Group’s interest in Ricardo? Ok so Ricardo are cheap but there has to be more to it than that surely? Plus, if there was serious intent (and I think increasing their holding to 20% must be considered serious) why is the SP not responding?

Try to control your excitement, we have a couple of days to go before we get into May (which is when the news starts flowing). Until the end of the week we just have to sit tight. For now it will be more of the same I predict. Periods of buying pressure followed by a flurry of sells. I’d anticipate the SP remaining above 10p however, although I doubt it will hit 12p. Having said all that I’d be happy to be wrong!

I think the SP will need more than just positive news to really hit the heights. Until then I’m confident it will edge up in 10p increments but when we get flow confirmation and take-off agreements in place etc, the true value will be realised in the market capitalisation and then we’ll see some massive leaps. I can see this at £2-£3 in maybe 12-18 months time if all goes well! If both Hussar and MW deliver the goods we could be in clover and maybe even higher. £17 seems inconceivable however, but then who knows? Let’s see what next week brings by way of a starter.

Well indeed, it just rankles that to move the stocks to my ISA I had to sell and rebuy. In the two days it took for the funds to clear the SP has risen. But yeah, will rebuy today and sit tight. I’m pretty much all in with every last bit of cash converted to GEX stock. My SIPP holding is already approaching double my average buy price so am a happy bunny whatever happens next. Hoping to be a very very happy bunny at some time soon!
