My average is nearer 5p now, I bought 400,000 at 3p yesterday.

So why the uptick over the last couple of days? Not like there have been many trades, mostly buys, maybe as people realise this might have bottomed out and want to get in before the big bounce. The spread has widened too. Then Deadly returned and it’s all gone quiet again!

Miker, the 12k at 08:30 was me. I couldn’t help but follow your lead. I placed a buy order at 3p and I thought I’d missed the boat after the rise yesterday but it was fulfilled this morning. Hoping that doesn’t mean it will drop again. I can’t resist the thought that there are so many positives in this equation. Particularly with the Aussie authorities lining them selves up behind the industry and investors. Even if the BoD are as bad as claimed by some, I find it hard to believe they can fail given the environment!

I note from her speech that the gas production coming on line is 10 years later than anticipated! Not sure I can wait that long for GEX

I can’t help but feel that since suspension, this board has been dominated by negative posters relentlessly driving down the price and undermining confidence. Like Miker and A-Bomb, I’m well invested and well away from being in the black and frankly I do have to keep reminding myself that the reasons I invested were valid and that nothing has changed! Getting stuff done takes time, permits, mobilising, contracts etc don’t get sorted over night. It will be deep into Q1 before we can expect much movement yet daily we are reminded that the drill was promised in Dec ‘24. I’m bored of hearing that now thanks guys, please move on! With any luck the BoD will start to drip feed up-dates on progress so we can start to get a bit of confidence going.

I suspect all the investors have simply grown tired of being told they’re idiots and given up making any kind of contribution. You won Deadly, well done!

My issue with the comms is that it is sometimes better to say ‘there is no new news’ than simply regurgitate old news and allow people to find fault. Where there are positives, focus on them, for example, start with the identification of the rig and emphasise what that means one what needs to happen next. Definitely don’t say ‘we are continuing to work on the logistics of mobilising to repair the infrastructure’ or words to that effect. That simply says we’re still thinking about doing something to me! They couldn’t start reparation works until approval had been granted, but they couldn’t start have worked out the logistics in advance surely. So in my view it would have been better to have said nothing than to make a statement that interprets as negative even though it might be a statement of fact. It just seems to me that the comms team are a bit amateur tbh.

That’s true LAvvocato, maybe they need to be more careful with their comms to get the timing and the content aligned with progress. However, you’re right and this isn’t a fast moving ride. I’ve been in for 18 months and slowly built a position with an average just under 7p which is why the current price irks just a touch. I realise that it’s largely meaningless whilst I’m holding and I don’t plan to bail out at any stage for at least another 12 months but I do feel that if the comms had been better handled, confidence would be higher.

All a little disappointing this morning. As much as I welcome the up-date RNS I was hoping for something more tangible by way of progress. Unfortunately, the BoD don’t seem to realise how damaging these ‘Meh’ up-dates are as they simply fuel the negative commentators and usually result in a further fall in SP. Having said that, GEX have a history of following up with a more positive RNS a few days later so will hang in there with fingers crossed for a bit of a Santa rally!

We’ll find out soon enough I’m sure. We’re due an up-date and hopefully it will contain news of progress with the infrastructure repairs, off-take JV and plans for getting a rig to site next year. Sometime next week I anticipate (the up-date that is).

It’s been well explained in the past. There was an extreme weather event that made the site inaccessible. More importantly, a further data review revealed a much larger opportunity. The original environmental plan didn’t encompass this and so that had to be redone and the concerns of the indigenous peoples assuaged. That’s all now done and sorted and permission granted!

As Miker points out, 12 months is not long in exploration timescales, sadly it’s too long for most who expect to turn a huge profit over night by simple speculation. Genuine investors realise this and are happy to monitor progress safe in the knowledge that all the indicators are that this will get very big at some point in the future, well maybe 12 months!

Maybe the problem is more to do with short-term expectations than it being poorly run. Stuff is happening, yet the SP drops, why? Because people with very little patience choose to sell.

I have no problem with people voicing their opinion either positively or negatively even on a bit of news or based on known facts. We are all entitled to a view and if we didn’t want to share it or listed to others none of us would subscribe to a bulletin board. I do get very bored of reading rubbish based on nothing at all or just defaming individuals because they are so minded. Equally I don’t expect to read any made up news that suggests the value of the company should be much more than it is. I do wonder if some people on here have lost any kind of internal filter and the ability to comment with any sense.

Anyway, we had several announcements in both October and November. It’s now December and I anticipate at least one more update from Georgina before the Xmas break. Hopefully some good news on progress!

Inaccessible by truck? Granted they are dirt roads and not tarmac, but that doesn’t mean they are of no use. The majority of roads in the world are unpaved, 35% of roads in the USA are unpaved. I suspect you’ve spent too much of your life in a UK city Newbie.

Well who knows what might happen next? However you look at it the options appear to be only positive for long term holders.

Well the good news, while we all sit tight waiting for the next announcement, is that trading has dropped through the floor this week with only a fraction of a percentage of stock changing hands. Looks like the traders, rampers and doom-mongers have moved on for now (thankfully, I’m tired of reading utter tripe on here). That also means that the SP has stopped lurching about, which usually ends with it dipping lower. Hopefully most of the stock is firmly in sticky hands. I’m pretty confident there are maybe 20-30 individuals like myself sitting on a good amount and with the BoD holding that has to be north of 70% of the stock. A nice news update before Christmas would go down well with me, confirmation of drilling Hussar in Q1’26 maybe, a firm off-take deal signed perhaps. It just feels better to have your portfolio in the black and I need the SP above my 6.5p average to make that happen.

Nothing new to report on google earth. The latest images are from November 2023 and I doubt they get refreshed very often!

There aren’t enough shares in float to get any serious investors involved although I’m sure they’re making note of the way things are shaping up. Lots of time and money will have gone into getting all the necessary approvals in place. Lots of interested parties who need to be convinced requires expert input and expensive reports. Huge progress being made negotiating with potential partners and future development opportunities. I’m sure AH has been anything but idle or profligate with the cash. SP has been driven down by the nay-sayers and doom-mongers trying to eek a quick buck trading a few thousand shares. TW and his toxic drivel hasn’t helped either. Those holding can read the runes and will be smiling I anticipate sometime in Q1’26.
