Nothing happens instantaneously, and yes the programme has has a few issues, but progress is being made and inexorably, Hussar will be drilled in Q3’26.

Carnegie station is 120km from Hussar and has a larger airstrip. The station is the nearest ‘local’ permanent settlement and the crew will shuttle in from there. I imagine that’s exactly what they’ve done. Fly to Carnegie and hop across in the helicopter

The broker note isn’t targeting the likes of us or the dirtbag traders grubbing around on here. It’s simple corporate publicity aimed at getting the word out that Georgina has strong prospects. There are I’m sure, plenty of HNWIs and IIs who haven’t cottoned on to GEX yet and when they see the potential may wish to get involved. When Hussar delivers and the SP soars it won’t be the likes of Burried_Tresaure buying 10% of my holding for £100k.

Miker, it does all look like a good plan. We’ll hopefully get a better feel when the site visit is concluded and they have had a chance to assess the works proper with the contracted parties. Once work starts you want to get on with it and no messing. They are hundreds of miles from any distractions so there should be plenty of focus on getting the job done. Logistics will govern the timeline for pre-drill activities so we should see a detailed plan for works and materiel within the month, then hopefully news of deployment. This should be well reported by GEX as it is the first crucial re-drill they’ve been planning for some time. Expect regular updates and some pics on the website from March maybe.

I’ve stopped looking at the trades. Nothing makes any sense to me, it’s just people playing. The numbers are so small in the scheme of things.

As has been pointed out elsewhere, you are either a trader and see this as a trading share and the BoD complicit in this. Or, you see it as an investment in a potentially fantastic venture and the BoD are all good eggs. You can’t sit in both camps and the traders don’t understand the investors, and the investors don’t understand the traders.

At some point in time we’ll find out if there is gas and the investors have done well. Or, it’s all been smoke and mirrors and the traders have made off with the investor’s capital. There will be some news shortly I’m sure.

Yes, I think Miker quoted it most recently but I believe the source was AH saying they needed a 10,000psi capable rig to conduct the re-entry drill.

It has been suggested that the gas pressure could be as high as 6000psi. That being the case I’d expect the one bore to be fairly productive!

The site is mindbogglingly remote, getting anything out there is difficult hence the importance of the road and airstrip. They’ll need to drill for water too, can’t keep hauling that in too!

I’m not surprised only 12k available. Trading around 1m shares atm so very much small beer. We won’t see any large sells until the price moves. If the news is good some will cash in as there’s no shortage of people waiting to see if they’ll buy in.

A foot or two? There will be no earth moving machines or imported aggregate, the existing will be dressed and graded nothing more. The airstrip will only be used by light aircraft to ferry a small crew in and out, this is common in Australia and they are robust to cope with dirt strips. Anything like material and plant will have to be hauled in by road, hence the need to ensure the dirt highway is serviceable.

I’ve been hoping the google earth data will update sometime soon. It seems that most remote areas get a pass every 3 years or so, so we should be due one this year! Hopefully with lots of activity!

The ~Copernicus pass is just a bit too low resolution to be useful. Maybe when there is some more significant change it will be obvious. It certainly doesn’t look to have changed dramatically since the last google earth image so hopefully there isn’t significant water damage. In truth, the weather event only had to cause a problem with a small section of the main highway to make getting there almost impossible. I guess we;ll find out shortly when we get the first report from boots on the ground in a few days.

I quite agree Mike. People make mistakes all the time, but unless you’re prepared to risk going out on a limb you’re not going to achieve too much. AH has taken a significant risk with this, but, has mitigated those risks very astutely. Re-entry rather than new bores. Cherry picked old sites with known histories. Kept below the radar with all the initial planning using local experts to navigate the approvals system. Getting big players interested and on board with his plans. Securing funding without resorting to the issuing of billions of shares. This whole programme of activity seems to be very well considered and executed to me. It’s easy to sit at your keyboard and pick holes, any fool can do that, and I’m sure we are about to hear from some of them!

The sells have outnumbered the buys recently and it’s not easy to buy in any quantity. Looks like there’s an accumulation developing allbeit a small one?

I don’t think we need to know what the asterisks were, it’s a pretty clear statement of the obvious. The plan says drill in Q3 and if the milestones between now and then are hit, it is likely to happen. I think we all agree (even those who say the drill will never happen), that providing we get regular, evidenced up-dates confirming everything is happening on plan, we’re looking good.
