I would imagine that the 12th Feb visit will survey the site to generate a bill of quantities for materials etc most of which will have to be hauled there along with the plant and machinery. The airstrip will only need a grader so once that’s done they’ll be able to fly crews in and out. Accommodation at the Carnegie station is rudimentary but good enough for a gang for however long it takes. They’ll need to bore for water assuming they will be casting concrete pads and bases. It will all take time but once there the crews can work long hours, there’s nothing else there to do!

I think the road and airstrip were necessary simply to get to the well. As I recall it’s marked only by a rusty sign on a post so they did well to find it! I can’t actually see anything on google earth beyond the track by it due to the resolution. I’m hoping that there will be another satellite pass due soon that might show activity/infastructure.

This is all very good news, and a couple of weeks earlier than I predicted yesterday. If they keep this rate of progress up we’ll stick to the schedule!

Great to see a location map so we can actually locate the site proper, although the resolution is too low to spot the little rusty sign! The satellite pass was Nov ‘23 and they usually refresh every 3 years. Unlikely we’ll be able to see progress then.

I believe there are some remaining warrants and options but will need to check. Minimal dilution in that there is no further requirement for working capital.

I think as more uncontrollable activities get ticked off, a more reliable timeline will emerge. We do now have a milestone plan by quarter for Hussar. I’d anticipate a similar could be overlayed for each subsequent drill as and when approvals are granted. As AH said, this should be a news rich period approaching, although it may take a month or so for work to roll out. Maybe we’ll get something more before the end of the month, possibly sooner. Placing orders, mobilising crews and plant and equipment logistics can all be planned in advance but they still take time to actually roll out. No rush, the gas is going nowhere in a hurry!

I have a feeling there are still approvals required before any drilling can take place. I believe AH mentioned that there was alignment with the ALRA but that there was more to do. Assuming this is all happening in parallel then I imagine Mt Winter is likely 6-12 months behind Hussar

I think Drilby may have already exited stage left. He probably bought in at sub 3p and sold up at 9.5p. If he’d wanted more he’d have stuck around.

I’d be intrigued to know how much interest in GEX there is in the US. I’m not aware of anyone posting here but then you wouldn’t expect that.

I have 1.5m in my SIPP at an average of 5p and another 0.5m in my ISA at 6.5p. I will look to cash in a small amount in October this year (I have stuff to fund) then I’m holding tight for another 12 months minimum.

Yup, buys coming now, small trades but enough to reverse the dip this morning. I have to agree with JT71, the floor needs to shift up from here. 8p is a bit of an insult really, a £10m MC for a company with the potential GEX has? The broker note is quite explicit and very conservative with it’s risked assessment at £1.24 (and also out of date now too) yet the SP remains at just a tenth of that!

Well it’s not tanking because people are selling out! More buys than sells so far.

As for the prospect of dividends, I think looking at the broker note, the time line to commercial gas flow is 2028/9 so I don’t think there will be dividends paid for a while yet. The MC should be much closer to £100m than it is though based on what we already know.

Well tbf even £500k would only but you, me and Mike out at 8p if what you say is true. There really isn’t enough free float at this price for any major player to buy in. The long term holders here are all hanging on for the massive payday that’s coming.

Nearly 1m traded at the close. I suspect probably half the free float isn’t really free but in the hands of long term holders. That makes the last minute trades nearer 3 percent of the available stock, so very significant and it will be interesting to see how the market responds tomorrow.

The last RNS gave a timeline by quarter ‘26 for Hussar. Expect announcements on progress on the ground plus up-dates on commercials both for Hussar and also the other developments at Mt Winter and Jacko etc. It should be a news rich period and I expect the SP to notch up at each up-date assuming all is progressing to plan. No, no need for a placing, fully funded from a loan facility and forward investment against revenue as part of the off-take deal to sell at the well head. No details released but mechanism understood.

Anyone who wanted out at a profit did that at 9.5p. Now whenever the ask drops the buyers step in. There won’t be much free-float at the current price. Most choosing to hold for the next rise.

Agreed, it’s exhausting watching the price going up and down by 10%-20%, it would be much nicer to see it settle at a level and all the traders go somewhere else. It might improve the board to!
