Good to see some trades today, limited free float isn’t helping build price pressure. MMs seem to be struggling to get their heads around GEX, is it an over-hyped nothing going nowhere or is it growing beneath the surface like a fungus and about to erupt? With major players expressing their interest this clearly looks to have legs but still the doubters persist. We are still below the SP level when the share was suspended and there was no more hard evidence then to support the SP.

Well if nothing else there has been a burst of enthusiasm in response to the RNS on here. Amusingly the rampers are behaving like they’re on amphetamines and the de-rampers on diazepine. There is no middle ground here!

It’s a 4hr drive, just 135 miles and it is the nearest anything to the well site!

I couldn’t see a date but the airstrip is pretty small and dedicated. The David Carnegie road going south to Little Sandy desert doesn’t look like it is a serious job either.

And if you put 24° 49’ 18” S and 124° 22’ 21” E into google maps or google earth you can see what appears to be the site. Not sure how old the image is but the airstrip and roads locally look serviceable

Now you’ve said that it does rather sound like the Hussar drill solution has been hiding in plain sight! However, that begs the question, why has GEX not been more explicit? They could have declared that but have, for some reason chosen not to. Unless of course, it’s not the correct assumption.

Let’s see if the market starts to see some perspective before the week is out.

Yeah, the trouble is that the market is too short-term focussed and so sees this latest as a distraction. Further more, the consensus seems to be that it’s a negative step and so that then puts investors off. Hence the market reacting and the SP dwindling below 5p. There now seems to be a willingness to only see the downside even when the news is positive. Even the drilling permit failed to ignite any interest.

Well not quite the direction I was anticipating but great news nonetheless. This should put to bed any more talk of GEX being a scam and the BoD taking investors for a ride. This is a serious play with serious players! Dilution is inevitable, this will deliver significant market capitalisation when the assets are realised. With big players involved we can expect steady progress on all fronts. Hopefully that will put an end to the bulletin board bleaters going on about needing to raise 50p to fill in the potholes too!

Investing is an educated gamble if you want to achieve anything more that the local building society savings accounts is offering and even that isn’t 100% guaranteed. So if you’re reading this it’s because you are a gambler. GEX is a horse in a two horse race at 150:1. Still not interested? Waiting for the bookies to offer each way betting?

This could be absolutely massive given the potential resources in the ground. This could easily be a £1bn MC which means an SP of £8 currently. That’s 150x the current SP. And what are the odds? Well people buy lottery tickets with odds of 14bn against. £1 invested in GEX could be worth £150 and the odds are what? Well I’d guess better than evens. So I know where I’m putting my spare cash!

So Miker, between yourself, myself, A-Bomb and Justus we hold 5m shares without Pompey. If there are five more with the same, collectively we are significant! Always good to know these things!

So who on here have large holdings, say 1%-3% so flying under the radar? I am and I believe Miker44 has a substantial stake.

And yes! This is very different to last time I looked when 11% I think was held through HL and another large chunk via another investment vehicle. According to this only 1/3rd of the shares are in the hands of holders with 3% or more interest and that Westmarket has just 22%, 11% each for AH & MW. Have they sold a chunk of their holding? I’ve seen nothing relating to directors share deals.

There will be shortly! Hope is a strange word to use because there is so much evidence available to underpin the expectation that there is a huge reservoir of un-tapped wealth deep in the ground down there. Having said that I hope I’m right!

For some reason, the market has this stock pinned at 5p despite the enormous potential, largely due to concerns over cash and funding I imagine. Clearly there is a lot of interest being piqued by the frequent snippets of news, which while interesting, don’t actually move the game forward. There have been two big trading days despite there being a considerable proportion of the shares in the hands of long term holders. I can only conclude that the fevered pumping and dumping activity with associated fluctuations in share price and sordid bickering on the boards will continue for now so I’ll just ignore it all.

Despite all the negativity and suppression of the share price, progress continues to be made and at some point there will be some very big news. That’s when the true worth will become apparent.
