extensions are simple and happen regularly - no big deal - especially if for valid reasons, which they could easily make the case for here if they wanted to. That said, I would me amazed if we don't get the accounts out before the end of the month, what could possibly be the hold up now, it's crazy. A possible takeover shouldn't be related to an accounts delay, the two are completely mutually exclusive (officially anyway).

it's been published anyway so that would be pointless. Have to get accounts this week or next surely, this is now becoming an insanely lengthy suspension, have their calculators broke..

Oculus - it's easily achievable - if you consider it only dropped from 70s not long prior to fund selling for their own reasons last summer. For some financial context at the current 50m mc, we only need to be turning a profit of 3 or 4m on a x10-12 valuation. 80p/200m mc would be around 20m ebit (which is where we were targeting anyway before all this for 2022). Ok this doesn't take into account any write downs but even so, if they are predicting to achieve or beat this in the coming year then that is achievable very quickly - the market is forward looking after all. As I said before the suspension price should not be focused on - it means nothing - it was driven down by Jupiter artificially and then compounded by the issues that are now now being sorted (and weren't anywhere near as bad as some expected), add in this new deal with Walmart which is huge and we should be absolutely flying .. what he says next is all important, lets get a fabulous FLS out prior to trading recommencing ... and a huge buzz will return and buyers will be falling over themselves to get in, we can just sit and watch ..

Sales must be though the roof, and 2500 Walmart stores will propel that hugely … a large price tag attached to this if a sale were to happen .. it’s always been a great business despite the dodgy side dealings … you can see why Boo been buying to a large % holding

No they don’t need to but drip feeding some teasers prior to reinstating trading would whip it up a bit. The US appointment too. Either way it should create a lot of interest soon enough. We are obviously doing very well under new leadership. Let’s hope his silence is broken very soon …

They need to communicate further with shareholders, we own this company. An odd email to individuals is not good enough - if there are further delays, an offer for the share capital, whatever it is they can't continue to keep people in the dark, they work for us, and that includes BDO.

he's likely just frustrated with the BDO dimwits, couldn't audit a sweet shop. This isn't that difficult, add up the number and publish them ffs!

Can't not see them out before month end and a resumption of the stock to trading, what further excuses could they possibly provide for this not to happen after a ridiculous 6 month suspension and all because BOD lent a few quid to suppliers!! Add to that the fact they would need to apply for an extension to avoid temporary delisting. Come on Bob lets cut the silence and tell shareholders where we stand outside of private messaging, its how its supposed to work!

the only other possibility for a hold up is that a takeover bid is also being prepared and will be outlined at the same time.

it would be unbelievable if they can't get a set of accounts out over all this time, as previously stated it should be some amendments only, they will have had inputs from the investigation to inform the accounts, the process should have been aligned and almost simultaneous. Outside of that they have had weeks already to recalculate .. its to rocket science. BDO are useless.

one thing is for sure, shareholders better be rewarded with at least a bag on resubmission for having our money held hostage for 6-8 months

Either way certainly wouldn't be in a rush to dump here, some will of course who simply want their money out after the wait. The only way this drops on resubmission and doesn't rise substantially is if there is a raise along with it, even so depending on the size of it and the Rhetoric that comes with it, it may also jump up anyway as it puts the business on stable footing. lets see, but I hope that an FLS along with the accounts provides a very positive look to the future, along with the the sales activity over the last six months of which they have completely kept us in the dark!

Despite the specifics of the investigation the business itself is in good shape, with 15k sales outlets and their own production facilities you wouldn't get this on the cheap, any buyers would likely have to be nearer year highs - its not a fire sale, there is no desperation to find a buyer (it might not even be for sale, unless its a technical offer due to the equivalent shares, making an offer statutory) its a growing and innovative company worth a pretty penny to someone 75p-£1 at least. The current price ie the close price prior to suspension is not a benchmark so ignore it as a barometer for value, it was dragged down there with Jupiter very quickly from the 70p range.
