"COPENHAGEN, Denmark, June 15, 2021 /PRNewswire/ -- Novo Holdings A/S, a leading global life sciences investor, today announced it has acquired BBI Group ("BBI"), a leading supplier of products and services to the global diagnostics and life sciences industries, from Exponent for an enterprise value of over GBP 400 million."
As per companies house, they had £125m of bank loans outstanding at the end of 2019. So the equity valuation is likely to be over £500m. Their turnover was £57m for YE 2019 (a decrease on the prior year), though annoyingly no accounts for 2020 at present. We know they are part of the UK-RTC alongside ODX, and know they haven't received any material orders yet (i.e. on Bidstats or the DHSC >25k releases), so it's hard to imagine their 2020 turnover reached anything more than £100m.
Our valuation is the definition of madness.
