1bb, the AT trades on LSE are a result of the movement in price on Euronext. They are not driving the price!

I think shorts have opened at €4.70 on Euronext to shake out traders from Friday and collect easy money, it seems shorting is absolutely rife over there. I suspect we'll bottom mid morning then start to build towards a £4.20 close.

The advfn NCYT board is a joke, I'm 99% sure I know who is behind it all. The same individual and his gang of cronies called us a short (and fraud) in Feb 2020 at 43p, they then missed a 30 bagger and can't let it go. They also spent most of last year criticising the company on Twitter & subjecting GM in particular to vile abuse. Fortunately it has zero bearing on the share price, but if you can't use you own initiative to decide where the price is going on Monday then I'm really not sure why you are investing large sums of money on AIM?

@Deas999, the shares owned by French shareholders on the Bourse are ‘fungible’ I.e. they can be traded on LSE or Euronext. So if we delisted nothing would fundamentally change, all it would mean is that if French shareholders wanted to buy or sell they would have to use LSE.

Looking at share volumes over the last month id say we are close to 50/50 in terms of share ownership between the UK & France, this could be key in terms of a delisting decision. Pre Covid it was likely 99% Euronext v LSE, last September it was 70/30 and a lot has changed since then. Who knows, the UK may now hold the majority… hopefully we’ll find out very soon.

Some people think they know everything - I think it's clear that triumph1 falls into that category. Takeovers come in all shapes and sizes and are by and large incomparable. The premium paid is often arbitrary and depends on how much the buyer wants the assets, in the case of Nova then you could well imagine why someone would think £12 a share or an EV of £10 a share (£840m - say £150m cash) would be a price worth paying.

So on Tuesday, I expect to see a reduced headline revenue figure and a corresponding provision on the balance sheet re. the dispute. UNLESS we are going to announce the conclusion of the dispute at the same time as releasing the results.

What is interesting is that they'll have known about the change of currency for the full year results for months (it's not the sort of thing you decide overnight), so why leave it until the 11th hour to announce the change?

Must say I also sh*t myself when I saw that RNS headline, but it’s excellent news! It’s also a classy move from the CFO, giving them the maximum amount of time & then bringing it forwards shows the market they are on the ball.

The currency change is an inevitable step towards delisting in France IMO, I wouldn’t be in the least bit surprised if this lands with the long term strategic plan…

3-5 years of intermittent variant surges... it's no wonder TAC healthcare etc are expanding so aggressively.

Yep @bluelight, I can’t ever remember a share that has been subjected to such blatant manipulation with end of day trades. Either the UK is manipulated to close high so it opens down the next day or France closes down to ensure the UK drops on open.

One good thing - it’s all hastening the transfer of shares from French to UK holders.

21 of the last 25 trading days on Euronext have been red… interestingly enough the 2020 summer low of £2.10 was hit on 15th June after a fall from £3.50 on 1st June (at the start of this 40% drop they announced full repayment of debt facilities…)

If shorters in France want to drag the price down they will - I’m sure they know full well that it’s frustrating UK shareholders beyond belief. Sweet revenge for Brexit & vaccine wars?

@Shaunp, several very decent clues without direct evidence;

- The first is the timing of the launch of escapePLEX with the commencement of NHS usage, however this could be a coincidence...

- But P9 of the NHS variants file also says' Results have been reported and used for public health action since 29 March 2021', we RNS'd the launch of VariPLEX on 24th March as a CE marked assay. Again, could be a coincidence but for the timing to align on 2 x RNS's + 2 x NHS usage changes seems a little unlikely?

Seems possible that VariPLEX was tested from 29th March - 3rd June & then introduced fully and rebranded to escapePLEX once the SNP mutations were finalised?

- We use the phrase 'first to market assay panel' in the 3rd June RNS and we have form here re. WinterPLEX & the original genesig assay.

- I also think it's interesting that the NHS namedrop the LGC Biosearch Enpoint PCR but don't mention who is providing the genotyping diagnostics... if it was AZN, Thermo or a private company I'd have expected this to be stated.

Agree that there is no sign of the 14th May VoC framework that was supposedly announced by NHS England, this in itself is odd.

Your 'major' investment is currently clinging to it's credibility having delivered zero Covid related revenues over the last 15 months, yet it's sitting at a valuation that is >£500m higher than pre Covid. Is it valued on future P/E's? Nope. It's valued on positive sentiment driven by greed.

NCYT is currently valued on negative sentiment driven by fear.

They are both almost certainly mis-valued because the AIM market is hugely sentiment driven. Over the next 12 months both shares will see major price volatility, however at their respective valuations I know where I'd rather have my money invested!

Once again driven down by Algo short selling on the bourse. You can see the detailed breakdown of ALNOV trades on Level 2 over on the other board. Between 10.40 & 10.42 over 46k of shares were sold in a total of around 100 transactions - on Boursorama it may appear as if they are one chunk, but this is absolutely not the case.

We are an easy target over there due to the tiny volumes at present, as soon as this changes the price will reverse rapidly. I think a lot of this is just small time chancers - they know sentiment is low so they probably wonder how far down they can push the price. LSE follows like a little lamb.

There will be huge pressure from airlines as testing and to an even greater extent quarantine are barriers to travel. If there were no variants then I think testing for travel would already be gone as don't forget it wasn't a thing last summer... but we know that PHE are monitoring at least 25 variants, there is no way they can just start pretending these don't exist after what's happened with Delta.

I found the below part interesting re. LFT CT levels - AVCT for example is targeted at CT of 27 or less, so could miss the ‘average’ asymptomatic person… nevermind Innova!

Luckily a Euronext delisting RNS could arrive at any moment, I'll be somewhat surprised if we're still listed there come the AGM because they'll have to go through the same rigmarole as last year re. getting quorum for the resolutions. The timeline is as follows;

2014 : GM reverses Lab 21 into Novacyt
2016 : GM buys Primer Design
2017 : GM dual lists on AIM
2019 : GM sells Novaprep, the original Novacyt founders' business
2020 : GM 'pleased' that UK share ownership had increased to 30% on AIM by September
2021 : ..... delisting from Euronext?
