Hi all, just catching up with this interesting thread. I know its all opaque. For me what is even more strange is the sentencing changed to a directions/mentions hearing and 2 months or so in the future. To me this suggests a fundamental question over the process and i assume due to timing in relation to the kkr ruling, it is related to inadmissible evidence used. This is by no means a minor procedural issue. IMO

Unless you are trading, just hold and wait. The upturn will happen as data on attendance starts to filter. The US is in a much better shape than us and will propel the share price up. Dont get spooked into selling. These dips are a chance to top up. I did at 90 anc will do again at 80 if it gets there but can't see it. Should never be below 100 on open. IMO next week will be the beginning of the rise. Ive been clear all along my exit point is over 2 pounds. I'll wait for 12 to 24 months to get there if needed. Meanwhile if a takeover happens, we will all be mighty pleased and i dont want to be caught out if that happens. ATB and have a good weekend.

Agree. Drop back is disappointing but SFO are under pressure to get things to a conclusion. There was an article in the Telegraph recently re Serco where the SFO made a hash of things. They will want to avoid being under the spotlight. IMO the odds of the SFO settling out of court with PFC has increased. They will not want to risk another mauling in the courts as the noise to have the SFO disbanded will grow louder.

Brent futures are such a tease. A glimpse of 70 and the back to usual range!

Shorts have not exited for no reason. Capital must be sweating a tad and will also hopefully close the oddly timed position they took up recently. ATB

Bad move IMO. Varient is not going to cause anywhere near the disruption caused by the Kent variant. The average age of those being infected now is under 40. The few older folk who did not or could not receive the vaccine may get ill but these numbers will not overwhelm nhs capacity. Sage are making a lot of noise as they love the attention but it does not alter the facts that admissions and deaths will not rise significantly enough to justify another lockdown. IMO. So i would definitely not sell now unless you are hoping to trade for a few percentage gain.

Sure, but shorts dropped and then have risen again since April. I assume they feel reopening will not happen as easily. I think the recent increase was predicated on this and i feel this was a dud move. IMO of course.
Overall, yes i completely agree, short position nearly half of the peak so much better. ATB

Slight increase in short position on Friday....I guess they were expecting a delay in re-openings. Hopefully this will mark a switch in direction and shorts will start to close or decrease.

Which is some turnaround in 12 months. OPEC restraint has been impressive and hope this continues. ATB

Ash, give it a rest. For someone apparently invested you seem oddly pleased the share price hasn't risen. Its not a surprise nobody's willing to believe what you are saying. Anyway, maybe you will wait a few days before you gloat about being right. Good luck with your investments.

Steady rise is perfect. Steep rises and falls encourage traders and the volatility can put off some investors. Great so far and im glad to keep holding every share for some time yet. Getting out with a little profit just does not justify the risk taken. Having held through the lows, i dont want to miss the big rise. Sold national express way too soon. Not making the same mistake here.

DT, i concur. That is my expectation too. I dintbtjis there will be a spectacular riseunless SFO close the investigation, but a return to pre covid levels over the next 6 to 12 months is on IMO.

Mark, good find. Excellent news. Good to see Shell still investing in oil exploration and not just going Gretagreen entirely. BP needs to take a leaf out of this book. Bit too tree hugging for my comfort from BP - I'm still heavily into both but am staying in BP due to its Russian interest which is what is saving BP despite the lunatic (pardon the twist) in charge. I feel more secure with Shell I have to say but feel a 50/50 split in my oil portfolio is probably a decent hedge. ATB.

Ash, variant changes nothing in relation to cine.
Plan for opening has already factored in the need for distancing and social bubbles. So the variant cases rising is not going to impact this. The june 21 issue is different as there is no social distancing restrictions in theory and this may need to be revisited. Nowt of consequence to cine. Time to be reasonable and quit with the scaremongering please. ATB

To 160-170 just to get back to where it was before it got shorted down. Beyond that will need some positive news to move up over 200. Any wiff of SFO conclusion should see this up over 300 at least IMO.

Are in the UK, USA and Israel.....vaccination sucess is a dream and could not have gone better for cine. This is a huge recovery stock.
