With shorters exiting, holding is a no brainer IMO

Wouldn't want to be the person at caputal who advised shorting this at 125 was a good plan. Some sweaty palms there i suspect.

All the momentum will put pressure on shorts to close and this too will help SP get above 110. Once 100 is breached, it will swiftly move back upto 110-115 IMO based on shorts closing. ATB and DYOR etc

Seems the buyback was timed for the dip. At least its putting a floor on SP.

This is entirely my own speculation of course so I respect all contrary views. Just really discussing the options that may play out.
Cine was a perfectly profitable and large business before Regal was added to the portfolio only 3 years or so ago. So I don't really see Regal as a critical arm. It is hugely valuable of course and why it will not be sold cheap (as a share holder I very much hope so). At times one has to cut ones cloth according to circumstances.

Sure, but this would restore Cine to financial solidity. Mooky and his legacy would still remain intact and in charge if what was the estate before Regal was bought. Off loading Regal to generate cash at this time if anything consolidates Mooky's hold on Cine and will allow himto see off any potential unwelcome takeover attempt. IMO.

IMO Netflix or Disney will buyout Regal. Jangho may well be in here having anticipated the same or will do this in partnership to in effect extend the franchise to China (with the tacet blessing of the Chinese government).
Mooky will remain in charge of the original Cineworld estate and have a sound financial footing to rebuild.
I'm staying put with all my shares to see what unfolds. Could have bailed with nearly 3x my investment, but am happy to stay patient for the jackpot. All IMO of course. ATB

SP has gone up about 35% since shorts reduced. Trouble is a new short opened and PI's are nervous so not buying. Made it very easy for the shorters to exit. Anyone notice the horde of doom merchants have disappeared? Strange is it not?

Last few occasions SP has risen post div date. With share buyback still happening, its quite a risk to sell hoping to buy back cheaper. IMO

I look forward to collecting the divi too. I've got zero interest in trading this. Not sold a single share and am more than happy to just hold and hold. 450 and I may think of selling a part. But even then only maybe if there are other places better to invest proceeds. GLA whatever your strategy is.

Only 3 K but that was when 3K was a big investment for me and I was not as financially secure. Very very wary of AIM since. Rarely do I venture there.
