i am surprised we didn't get a Q3 update and the guide is for any new contract worth c10% of EXISTING revenues should be announced via RNS. However, i wonder if the delay is due to govt contracts and confidentiality clauses.
Hopefully we will find out soon.

just out of interest do you think they are still hoping to get a copper credit for Toral? Price of copper is flying and we know it's down there.
The current NPV of $156m is base don quite conservative metal pricing already - in particular silver where a price of $16.5 per oz was used - c 50% below the current price.

yes, so essentially GFIN has paid £350k upfront and a % of future revenues.

As the Epic sites have 10 times the followers of GFIN but similar revenues i would conservatively expect revenues to rise 5 fold in the next year or two

Revenues growing , although slightly slower than many would like, good recurring revenues plus a steady flow of new contracts , should make a maiden profit this year and considerably undervalued to its peers.

Mida - there have been a few dates missed. After FDA approval ex CEO stated deal by Q1 2020 but hoped to complete it before end of 2019. This wasn't achieved but Chinese deal was concluded in Jan 2020. Ex CEO left soon after which suggests large shareholders weren't happy with him - a deal was available but he didn't get it over the line. I think there are 2 possibilities - maybe he wanted to do a number of separate deals to maximise value rather than a single deal or there was the potential for a takeover that he felt didn't represent fair value.
Since then the end of 2020 date has been confirmed but in the June presentation a date of end of summer 2020 was indicated . During the Sept update Tim mentioned it was taking a little longer but was on track. Only last week the end of 2020 date was reiterated.
So hopefully news in the next few weeks - still think a takeover is possible too, hence the delay.

ok - i get your point. However, as this is clearly good news they have clearly decided to disclose it in parallel with updating their website too. Just because you are not required to disclose should mean you can't.

If Blackrock has only just informed the company then the company must RNS this ASAP.

so Joe Bayer is stepping down. I wonder if this is partly to offset issues at the AGM. If it was always planned why did he force the ex CEO out only a few months ago? Anyway, a more UK centred BOD with the right experience seems the way forward.
I have no issue with Joe, but couldn't understand how his location in Australia could be helping when UK is our biggest market by far.

Matty - revenues for 2020 were confirmed today at £4m, so £3m in H2. That's a 200% uplift from H1.

Clearly there are new contracts within these figures - is that not material enough for you?

ex CEO Carl Sherritt did have over 10m shares so it appears he has sold c2m to move from 9% down to 6.99%. Last week he was appointed CEO of another company so i suspect he needed funds to buy shares in that company - the timing of both seems more than a coincidence.

Some of his shares he acquired at a 150p placing years ago however others were acquired as share options at a much lower price so i suspect he's still making a decent profit and also still has a considerable holding with STX.

Not sure if we should read too much into it. He needed the money so sold some shares. I do not think he is privvy to confidential info (can't be if he's selling) and no doubt STX and US companies have signed NDAs etc.

Now we are in Dec to do need Tim to pull his finger out and get this deal done. He has had sufficient time now STX needs to be in the US, it's our biggest market by far.

Still think the delay could be due to a potential takeover.

incidentally Boots has c2,500 stores in the UK so to get products in every one is a great achievement

agree Justin keeps very quiet when he is selling but he has repeatedly mentioned this will get to 40p soon and potentially the least risky of his shares, so think he is still in as the potential is unquestionable and hasn't changed

BAHA i think the article is a good starting point re potential revenues the Q16/32 machines will generate.
Yes initial order is for 300 units BUT we know production has been increased 5 fold so demand is clearly there.
We also know that testing has been expanded into care homes so clearly new machines are required for this.
Finally, this is NHS demand only - if UK govt doesn't want all 1k units then they can be sold elsewhere.
Incidentally, there are c1,200 UK hospitals and over 14,000 care homes.

Based on the above i think the 1,000 units is a sensible starting point and is definitely not over optimistic
