I was thinking about why FQM used a copper:scandium ratio of 8 and above to define the Sentinel target area, I think this may be tied to the cut off ore grade, which is 0.15%. The ‘normal’ ratio would be between 2.0-2.5 so if you use 2.5, that means a ratio of 8 would be 3.2 times normal. The background copper level in unaltered rocks is (from FQM drill data) approximately 0.05% so 3.2 x 0.05 = 0.16% Cu
If you apply the same numbers to our results, a maximum ratio of 67 equates to 26.8 times normal so, 26.8 x 0.05 = 1.34 % Cu.
