The band of copper enrichment seen on the drill data doesn’t extend far enough to the SSE (along the strike) to explain the Cu:Sc anomaly so my guess is that there must be more copper in that direction.. some deeper drilling will hopefully find it! It also seems to be continuing in the down dip direction, as you would expect from the Cu:Sc data.

To occupy my mind while waiting for news I did a bit of modelling with the Cheyeza drill data. My mind works better with pretty pictures than numbers! You can see a clear main band with (potentially) something deeper.

Arc received notice of the extension on 6th January, 180 days from that date is 5th July.

Ella, you will achieve nothing by posting here, if you have an issue then address it directly with the company. Nobody else here is concerned by the situation and you are just likely to get yourself filtered if you continue.

In March last year the share price was 1.7p so its up more than 5 times since then.... it just depends how you chose to frame it. Personally I'm totally happy with the way things are going because I'm not focused on the share price, I'm focused on what the company is achieving.

Jubilee are a team of chemical and process engineers who are damn good at what they do. They are not miners and Colin has already stated with regard to Cyprus that they have no desire to be involved with mining. I hope they stick with that philosophy and if they get a chance to offload Tjate they should take it.

Ella, yes the reporting of drill results is lacking in consistency, maybe that should be brought to their attention for future drills. The deepest reported intersection is 135m so I’m guessing the drills were 150-200m at the most. The NE corner is showing the highest grades so I suspect they will put in some deeper drills there first in the hope of finding some thicker sulphides there. A nice thick band of supergene enriched copper would certainly get investors (and Anglo American’s) attention! Further south and west the grades are lower but still pretty good and quite thick in places. Still plenty of the area to be explored. Based on what we’ve seen at sentinel I expect that the whole area defined by the Cu:Sc anomaly will be mined eventually.

NvS said in the Investor Call that the airborne survey was due to start by the end of May so we should be hearing something on that soon, hopefully this week.

Haha, yes it's a tricky business! Luckily I've managed to locate the drill locations by using the rivers marked on that map and overlaying them on the cadastre satellite map, they are pretty accurately drawn so it wasnt too dificult to match them up. Don't worry about the co-ordinates!

I was thinking about why FQM used a copper:scandium ratio of 8 and above to define the Sentinel target area, I think this may be tied to the cut off ore grade, which is 0.15%. The ‘normal’ ratio would be between 2.0-2.5 so if you use 2.5, that means a ratio of 8 would be 3.2 times normal. The background copper level in unaltered rocks is (from FQM drill data) approximately 0.05% so 3.2 x 0.05 = 0.16% Cu

If you apply the same numbers to our results, a maximum ratio of 67 equates to 26.8 times normal so, 26.8 x 0.05 = 1.34 % Cu.

There’s so much going on with Jubilee at the moment it’s easy to miss things. Leon mentions in the interview that they have made ‘significant breakthroughs’ which will feed through into the designs of future copper circuits and create new opportunities in Zambia. He said he looked forward to updating shareholders on the details.... maybe that will be the hat-trick RNS!

The scales used to colour code the data are different. Also for Sentinel the upper limit is set to 10,000 which is the limit of the assay method, we don't know what the actual highest ratios they found were. For Arc the limit is around 67 which must be the maximum value actually found. If we applied the same colour code to our data as used for Sentinel then the target areas would be smaller (much smaller than Sentinel), basically just the areas shown in pink at the moment. When you combine that with the much higher grades seen at Fwiji and Cheyeza I'm thinking that we are looking at more compact, high grade ore bodies.

Of course AAL will know exactly how our data compares with Sentinel (through David Wood) and we know they are keen to complete a transaction...

They would have recovered those build costs in less than 12 months based on current prices!

Just for comparison, here is an image of the Sentinel mine site with the Cu-Sc data overlaid on it. Phase one of the mine matches almost exactly with the data.... they could have saved a lot of time and money spent drilling!

It’s worth having a look at the geographical distribution of the searches for each company too. SEYE has a much wider exposure in comparison to SEE which is better known in much fewer countries. I wonder how that will change once those cars start rolling out of the show rooms and we can actually do some useful publicity!

I was looking at some search trends for another investment and thought it might be interesting to look at the data for Jubilee and its nearest competitors.

The searches all follow a similar pattern, as you might expect, but more interesting is the geographical distribution of the searches. Jubilee is exclusively UK and South Africa and does not yet appear to be on the horizon anywhere else. SLP has some exposure in US and Canada. It does feel like we are still a bit under the radar at the moment... how much longer can that last?
