Caerus have a presentation on their website which gives figures for some of the tailings dumps. I think 1% Cu is an upper figure with some low grade dumps as well

Interestingly Jubilee didn’t specifically state that they would be looking at copper tailings only, maybe there will be value in expanding into gold as well! Some of the historical copper grades were 10-15% so who knows what might be in those tailings....

Here are the specific things Musk and Tesla could do:

Call out misuse of the system when it occurs. Videos of people misusing Tesla’s Autopilot and FSD systems tend to go viral, and it could stop if either Musk publicly called out people doing it and asked them to stop such practices, or Tesla permanently revoked their access to Autopilot and FSD features as a result of their actions.

Add a driver-monitoring system. Cameras in the cabin will be a safety-critical system of all semiautonomous cars, because they require that drivers stay alert and are ready to take over operation of the automobile. Tesla is trying to cut costs by avoiding installing this system, though governments world-wide might soon require them, leading to potentially costly retrofits.

Stop calling the system “full self-driving” while it is not. It was bad enough that the ADAS system was labeled “Autopilot,” which gives the impression that drivers can turn it on and stop paying attention. But calling extra ADAS features “full self-driving” is needlessly confusing for a system that, again, Tesla has admitted to the California DMV only offers autonomy at level two (of five).

Stop proclaiming that Level 5 is around the corner and acknowledge publicly that Tesla is not close to full Level 5 autonomy and may never get there.

I was thinking about the best way to alert users to trolling / deramping without actually getting drawn in by their wittering. Maybe a thread which just names them and which all the regular users recommend. We could bump it to the top every now an then.

Many of us have already filtered him, I suggest you do the same or at least stop replying... it achieves nothing.

I quite like the green boxes, they jolly the place up a bit. Although I do find them quite small from the top of this massive pile of shares I’m sitting on!

It’s clear that there has not been any noticeable increase in awareness over that time period which is disappointing but not unexpected. It’s good to see there are searches for SEE in North America so we do have some exposure there.

Yes it is Jubilee Metals. There are others such as Sylvania Platinum and Tharisa who focus on PGM’s and Jetti is a relatively new player focusing copper. I’m sure there will be more as people wake up to the potential of tailings. Jubilee has the advantage that it has a diversified portfolio of metals including access to huge copper / cobalt dumps in Zambia and now looking at a JV in Cyprus. They have had a fantastic 12 months growing from 3p to 21p and there is still massive room for growth. The full year results will be released in July I think and that could really set the share price alight if they have performed as well as is expected.

Even with substantial exploration in the near term it’s likely that there will still be a massive gap between supply and demand for copper. I think it’s inevitable that mining companies will look to historical tailings to help fill the gap. There are billions of tonnes of ore on surface waiting to be reprocessed and as mined grades decrease it will only become more attractive. I am also invested in a metals reprocessing company (as are some others on this board) which is doing very well from the recent increase in copper and PGM prices, well worth investigating that sector if you haven’t already.

I guess we should be flattered by all the sudden attention from the trolls / derampers, it’s a clear sign that they know a deal is imminent and they want in cheaply.... shame they weren’t smart enough to see the writing on the wall earlier, it’s been there for months!

I’m glad to know that I picked him as a deramper and not just endlessly negative, it means my b/s radar is still working ok! No doubt he will be hanging around for our benefit to continue sharing those pearls of wisdom with us.

I think it’s a bit premature to assume the mining license has been relinquished, it may still be in the process of being transferred from Zamsort to Handa ownership. If it HAS been relinquished then yes they must be pretty far down the path to finalising a deal.

Leon mentions in the interview that they have no plans to license the IP to anyone else, I think it’s more a case of creating a tailored process for the ore type and either JV or buying the tailings outright.

It’s interesting that Leon also mentions in the interview that they had been in talks with the big mining companies in Chile in 2019.... how much keener will they be to exploit their tailings potential in the current market! I wouldn’t be surprised if we see some movement on that front before too long.
