The Zamsort license area was coming up for renewal this year and due to the local mining laws half of the license area has to be given up at each renewal. We got around that by splitting the area in two and renewing half with the new company Afrimin Resources. Also we have separated the Kalaba area from the rest of the license which allows any deal to be concluded without having to deal with the court action over Zamsort. I think that was the main issue. There was no indication in the IC of any deal being reneged on.

I suspected it probably was... not much gets by the posters on here!

I found that after looking through the recent Magna investor presentation which lists all the new model releases they are involved with. Haven’t investigated any others yet.

I watched the video with an open mind, right up to the point he revealed himself to be a conspiracy theorist.

It’s interesting that chromites were mined in Cyprus until the 1980’s when it stopped due to price pressure from South African chrome. It would be interesting to know the PGM content of the tailings left over from that operation.

Markets in general are down off the back of Inflation concerns in the US.

Exactly, I can only imagine the effects on the local population of having 2 toxic tailings dumps in the centre of the city. Cleaning up the land and hopefully providing employment can only be a positive.

As Jubilee’s profile gets higher and metals prices rise, I’m sure they will be receiving approaches from lots of companies waking up to the fact that their tailings dumps could prove to be an asset rather than a liability. It’s just a matter of sorting the wheat from the chaff.

I’m guessing that the second copper tailings dam is Uchi, which is close to the Kitwe tailings dam in the centre of Kitwe:

I’d imagined that the dams would be built on the edge of the city... very surprised to see that they are both in the centre of the city! Found some comments from locals about Uchi that it is cobalt rich.

Wow, 14 years is a long wait, glad your patience is finally being rewarded! I first bought 2 years ago at around 3p after reading up on the company and thinking they were on to something. With an average of 4.7p I'm delighted with how things are shaping up and I don't think we are even close to fair value yet! My target price is around 100p before I even consider selling... lets see if I can hold my nerve!

I guess a lot of people gave up yesterday when they couldn’t get access to to the zoom call. We might see a decent rise in share price today once it’s been watched by a wider audience! Certainly very positive news, it even seems to have shut up the derampers for a little while!

Most browsers will have a text only mode which will block images. I just tested Firefox browser on my iPad and it works pretty good. What browser do you use?
