RE: Strong Correlation between fault lines and Cu-Sc results30 May 2021 17:52
Ella, from what I understand, the Cu:Sc method uses the fact that Scandium is extremely stable in minerals and the fluids which dissolved out the copper would not have affected the Scandium. The ground samples taken for assay are dissolved by a combination of acids (4 acid digest method) and the amounts of copper and scandium are measured. Mapping the resulting ratios will show where copper has been depleted and where it has been enriched by the fluid movements. I don’t think is matters if it was copper oxide or sulphide, it is measuring just the element copper.
It is looking more like the Kalaba mining license has been given up so I guess they don’t consider it a priority, or possibly it was a factor in the negotiations... who knows?
