Hehe, sorry Danjo, hopefully I’m not making things sound more complicated than they are! The Cu:Sc map with the red/pink hotspots are showing areas where copper has accumulated (the blue areas are showing where it has been leeched from). The magnetic anomalies are showing areas where a higher than expected magnetic field has been detected during the airborne survey. They could indicate copper ore bodies, but there could be other causes as well. The fact that the two things are showing up consistently very close to each other suggests that they are most likely due to copper…. Let’s hope so anyway!

An updated map of the electromagnetic anomalies with a couple of others added which are close to Cu:Sc hotspots (Lumbeta and Kazozu).

I also noticed that drill number 55 at Cheyeza, which is the one suggesting a new deposit, deeper than all the other data, is directly in line with the indicated EM anomalies. Could that be the start of a bigger ore body?

The grades reported in the MTC announcement clearly do not meet the level necessary to trigger any further payments.

Thanks Kully, my background is in geophysics so I quite enjoy trying to piece the jigsaw together, although to be honest Arc could have made it a lot easier by putting all this information out there on one map! I feel like the more information I have, the more comfortable I am with my investment here and the easier it is to ignore the noise. It will undoubtedly get noisier as the EA deadline gets closer but I’m not concerned. Even if the negotiations with Anglo don’t end in a deal (I’m 99% sure they will) that doesn’t change the fact that we are sitting on what are looking increasing like some of the best copper licenses in Africa.

It occurred to me that I hadn’t really looked at the data from the first airborne EM survey so I overlaid the EM map onto what we know already and the results are very interesting. At Fwiji, Cheyeza East and Muswema there are EM anomalies on the west side of the Cu:Sc anomalies. The drill data for Cheyeza and Muswema is showing the copper bearing rocks dipping to the west, towards the EM anomalies. In short, I think there is a very good chance that these anomalies are indicating the presence of bigger sulphides. We don’t have any drill locations for Fwiji otherwise I would have plotted them as well. I did contact Arc to see if we could get these locations but unsurprisingly I didn’t get any response! If these EM anomalies are indeed showing the presence of copper then we could be three drills away from proving up three major deposits….

That's not a justification, thats a partial CV and a suggestion that because Nick once worked for Anglo he will cave in to whatever they want.... which is clearly not the case, hence the protracted negotiations.

1. There is no delay, we are still within the EA, so your title is misleading.
2. Anglo cannot 'relinquish their grasp on the EA for the time being', either they are in or they are out.
3. Why do you think Anglo are incapable of multi-tasking? I'm sure they can deal with both without any problems, just as they are dealing with major projects elsewhere in the world.
4. Where is your evidence that NvS has miscalculated timelines?

I think you misplaced the decimal on your percentage.Hopefully we can do better than 0.08% :-)

I did a rough guesstimate last night based on an average mineralised depth across the drilled area of 25m @ 0.8 % Cu.
500 x 400 x 25 = 5,000,000 cubic meters. I wasn’t sure of the rock density / specific gravity but using the figure of 1.5 gives 7,500,000 tonnes which would equate to 60,000 tonnes of Cu. (Or $600 million if you prefer!). Enough to keep the lights on anyway :-)

Which other company in the same business is big enough to make a serious offer for us? Also what exactly would they be getting? Yes they could acquire our current projects but Jubilee’s value is in its intellectual property and its key people more than anything… what guarantee would they have that they can hang on to those people? I don’t see us as an obvious takeover target but if an offer does come it better be a damn big one.

Not really. The extents of the ore body would need to be established first. From the drill results we have so far I would say it continues further to the north and west, and the Cu:Sc data suggests there are possibly more deposits to the south and east as well. Plenty more drilling will be needed to establish the full extents I think.

F79 yes it looks like the results we’ve had so far at Cheyeza have a much wider spread of grades than at Sentinel but the average grade is similar. Fwiji is probably too early to tell with so few samples but it looks to be following a similar pattern. In the last investor call Vassilios said they would be targeting an area to the NW of the previous drills at Cheyeza, when I plotted the drill data in 3D there was one hole which didn’t fit with the rest of the band and suggested something deeper towards the west side so lets hope they hit the big sulphides on the next drill!

I know in the Sentinel modelling the cut-off grade is pretty low (0.15-0.2%), so if it was economic to mine those low grades previously how much more attractive will they be in the current market.

I’ve done a comparison of our drill results at Cheyeza and Fwiji with the results seen at Sentinel. With so few drills at Fwiji the frequency values are a bit meaningless but anyway its worthwhile to see how the grades so far compare. Our data in orange, Sentinel in blue.

First time poster asking about share price behaviour…. Wow how original! If you don’t understand the basics of how the market works (and your post suggests you don’t) then maybe you’re better off buying a lottery ticket.

Take a look at the 12 month chart and tell me if it still looks erratic!

Buy on the dips… isn’t that what they say? :-) You can be sure that’s exactly what all the derampers are doing whilst at the same time crying about the falling share price! Don’t let all the noise affect your judgement…. This is still exactly the same golden opportunity it was last week!
