Gone from 2 advanced negotiations in dec to one in May now we talk about active negotiations and a preferred bidder which it would be reasonable to assume is the one that had advanced negotiations. Sounds like this has some way to go yet to me. Will be interesting to see which way the sp heads in the morning. Have added a bit yesterday and today. I think a raise is likely to be next news though.

That’s not going to happen tho. Mc expected it sorted a year ago . Mellon 150 k oz production this year. Hard to live by what they think or act . Agreed it could mean that Nero but their expectations have tended to be a bit out Havnt they.

Personally glad to only have small exposure here but will re buy at this price and lower.currently just in the red which I don’t like too much, still around 80% to go till mc reward unless he has that covered too with his £500 k min, so a good rise from here if all goes to plan.

Would agree that mc particularly with his opaque bonus scheme has every reason to get deal over the line. However he has hardly bought any shares for years and the reduction of his reward package from £1 to 40 p suggests this rather than share price will be his main reward since most of his shares were accumulated above any likely sale price. Apart from the recent freebie other reward of course.

None of which however can force a sale . It is the potential buyer that will determine how, if and when a sale completes. If mark has taken a pay cut it means they are trying to eke out cash. Could mean that they hope a deal is within grasp as Nero states . You takes your chances guys.

22 p to buy maybe lower . If a deal comes 22 p will give a decent profit. Mm. Worth a punt if you are not 00 deep already .
