rob. i never say never with gold but simply use caution as i have been hearing it for 10 years by posters that are badly underwater to justify their poor investing . i am i. producers mainly and a couple of explorers. guess which ones are the laggards!

i don’t say the deal is not going to happen . i am cautious of it and am expecting a raise before concrete news. i could be wrong.

peeps $ 500 m m cap . lol. it’s just a figure plucked out of the air with no basis. at what point do peeps think this is going to be fact. how many oz , in which categories.how many shares will there be? how much drilling will this take? how much spend? and how much time.

well we have seen the timescale so far for striking this deal. we have seen the timescale involved to not actually form a j/v, yet peeps think omi can roll another one out in short time . so much lunacy. they don’t even have the asset yet.

i remember the £1 by end of year posts. the *** packet buritticca comparisons that were laughable.

Jack I sold out Shg as soon as they anounced a deal . Swapped straight into Mstr and clsk mainly .

This vid has a good part on selling. Any idiot can buy but selling is the most important part. Also followed his advice of swapping eth to solana which was a great piece of advice. Been buying Mstr for about 2 years.

Buffet or sprott would issue the same advice re minnows like Omi. Make sure the management have significant skin in the game and have past record. What is the cash raised and bid costs compared to m cap.

Rob. I said v early in the year that interest rates were not going to come down as fast as some expect. We are now entering q4 and us looking for first rate cut. Uk has had 1 small one and bow has recently stated inflation is sticky warning slow reduction likely. Re gold I always say it is hard to predict but bought back into producers on march 1st as the market seemed to have turned. I see a good medium term for gold and crypto which is where most of my cash is. More crypto related atm but imagine that changing as we go into next year.

The crux here as I have said many times is when cash is raised, at what price and ammount of dilution. And obviously when or if this deal completes.

Yes a joint partner will most likely be needed because a company that gives away 9% for £500 k less costs is not going to be able to prove up a 30 m oz elephatitus project!

Dr, I very much doubt this deal will be concluded this year. It will take around 3 months to finalise after a deal is struck . Cash will deffo be needed before then.

Dr, this may be news to you but house sales do fall through! They also find problems during the process. Maybe some knotweed or a boundary issue! The delay doesn’t mean deal won’t complete. Funding is the issue! The likelyhood is a raise before a deal goes through. Depends now if it is anounced before a raise. It is far from clear even with deal completion his Omi will be able to carry out its stated commitments. V high risk but worth a punt at today’s price or lower but no chance of a 2024 resource definition. That was hopeful guff!

Seingred listen here lol. Still no tangible proof then to support the suggestion that they are still negotiating. Despite Brad stating on twitter and Interviews and replying to posters that the issue is with the Canada regulatory approval we will not believe any of this and opt to believe another theory where there is no proof but shows Brad in a poor light. Any acceptable bid has to be. Opted in but there can still be a further bid even at that stage. I would imagine if/when an acceptable bid is received it will be made public and then there will be an opportunity for alternative bids.

Simms. Calibre is spending much less pocket money proving up high grade resources of its own . That is their strategy while expanding to other less risky jurisdictions to spread their risk. Single asset miners are significantly less valued.

Basically n m has gained 1.5 % nsr and recovered costs further down the line for handing over $2 m. They obviously weren’t going any further when they belatedly handed over $2 m which has incidentally all but gone showing nothing at all for holders!

I have seen those poised to heat up headlines for probably as long as you have held here. Timing is eventually working out for Cnr re pog and agree the outlook is pretty good for the foreseeable on pog front. I don’t share your confidence that there will not be any more dilution.

£1 would need a deal of around £230-50 m or $300 m . I don’t share that optimism but would be extatic to see anything near that. Any agreed deal will be north of here my guess is 40-50 p which for me is 80-100% which is ok and makes low 20s good risk reward . Anything higher will be an unexpected bonus .

A nice bit of pumpy never hurts or even better , some news.

Gold will be fully tokenised as mc said in the future . Need to check this out more but sounds interesting. My intention is to sell most crypto over the next year and park it somewhere else so something along this line may work for me. The gold bull may well outlast the Bitcoin cycle!

Moo, to be Clear, it is a decent price to buy because at present any talks are non binding and deal is well overdue. Nobody can state 99.9% in all seriousness. I imagine the deal going through but then peeps mostly expected phase 2 and drilling long ago. N m walked from ggp did they not many years ago. If deal is completed then sub 3 p is a decent buy price but could go lower yet !

Decent vid e l. Totally agree with the statement that the narrative can be incorrect lol! The Bitcoin gold chart is an interesting one. I have long said that what’s good for Bitcoin is good for gold too . I am hopeful for both.

However when I sell my crypto I convert it into usdc. When gold is tokenised that could change. I can’t transfer gold to my bank acc and spend it. I think there are a number of things he isn’t taking into account and purely using the one chart. Anyhow I am crypting up on dips and expecting well over $100k in the next 8 months which considering I was buying at-around $24 k a year ago and $5 k 4 years ago is not bad and dare I say it better than gold even at$60 k today.

None of this is really filtering into many goldies as yet too much but hopefully a further move north may start to make a difference.
