Hi nookie, re ukog. I held it years ago. It has since lost about 99% of its value. So as ever timing is everything. I have recently had a small punt in ukog. It has however been a lesson for the l t holding school in aim. Short term and get stake out asap is best.

We won tickets for the London olympics. The kids paid their ages. Day at no 1 court and fb against South Korea in Cardiff. We put in for bmx too but didn’t get it. Was a great experience and not very expensive.

St. You say most l termed know Brad is rubbish with timescales. Ok so why have peeps been quoting them like fact until they expire?? Why would I bother doing that ! I expected missed timelines. Some things are for longterm others not. Agree re property . Unless you buy at wrong time and can’t keep up payments.

We are probably in one of those rare situations where you would have been better buying the metal than the producer and especially early stage unproven explorers.

I am in gold and silvers and do see further upside and yes interest rate reductions will come. Just slower than many thought at begining ov the year and will come down much slower than they went up. Will be good for hold and Bitcoin. Win win for me hopefully

Hi Rob. I am back in producers this year and it is a mixed bag so far. What is guaranteed is that until they take off explorers certainly won’t.

Re crypto producing nothing . That is not actually correct . For sure a big pile of cryptos are to be avoided. However solana is growing at a remarkable pace . In adoption. Visa will use it for its payments . Bitcoin went up when we had the big computer outage last week. Blockchain tech will take over finance etc because of speed Security and cost.

The future is changing fast and best to have some exposure to it imv.

I will be holding gold silver producers. Uranium and copper have been my best performers over last two years in conventional miners.

Over on Cnr sandfly of posters said I posted negatively but when 5 years down the line I ask them to name something that was negative and untrue. I feel it is best to look for the negatives before the positives in investing because it is very easy to lose. Your pants on aim having Rosie specs.

Anyway,I have a reasonable holding at 4 p an hope to be in progit but am not tied with a long term outlook. I will go with my nose as news develops.

At, an nsr is a pretty standard thing when passing on an asset .when peeps mention 30 m oz etc . Mm have 1.5 % and also all their costs covered at milestones. Doesn’t matter if it is Omi or someone else. It is not surprising that it all is taking time. What is surprising is brads naive timeline expectations and peeps thinking they were realistic in the begining.

Newmont will get their stake back plus 1.5% of any production many years down the line. Obviously royalty rights can be sold on at any point. The question isn’t is the project a dud more is Brad and Omi a dud? Only time will tell on that but nm rights are guaranteed.

I do enjoy the cycling in the olympics and glad to see the manx man get the sprint record . I liked cycling with my kids off-road but have a long-standing knee issue. And they have grown up now. Thinking of getting an electric assist bike. I have lots of other interests.

I do have a diversified pf . Crypto and crypto related shares are by far my best performers over the last 4 years. Started re buying house builders gradually recently when interest rates fall and shortage of housing etc. decent dividends too. I have learnt some painful lessons in sim explorers and that is where my monicker comes from.

Gold producers and Bitcoin miners go up directly with the asset price. Obvs same downwards so makes sense to hold producers. Explorers are far more high risk. There is a proposed etf that covers hold and Bitcoin. Not been passed yet but will be interesting to see how that goes. Tbh rob, having exposure to Bitcoin is good sense. The graphs for Bitcoin, eth and solana speak for themselves but for those who feel safer in shares. Micro strategy is a very good exposure to Bitcoin and isable. That is my largest holding and up around 300% in a couple of years. Bitcoin miners are also usable but more risky but good for trading.

Dr, worth taking note that despite much drilling over at collective and a m cap of a a couple hundred m Canadian, the sp is little higher than first list. And these guys are the continental guys. They raise $ 30 m at a time. That’s the scale of the task if go it alone.

Legal. Even if 2 m raised Omi burns that much a year with no drilling. This whole scenario sits on great results quick and big re rate to raise cash. That is very high risk and not one I want to be oo deep in personally. Good luck to all who are and you will absolutely deserve the spoils if it comes off.

Dr, I have spent 12 years in and out of Cnr. They had much soviet data that converted fairly quickly to jorc estimate. However it is quite alarming how long progress took from that point to finally a bfs in 2022. For reserves of 600 k and all in 2.4 m. It is worth a study to give an idea how much cash these project get through and timescales. Cnr ceo has a record in finance and major investor now chairman is a billionaire . It has been for sale for 18 months with no sale agreed as yet. It is very easy to talk these projects up and minimise the risks. Unfortunately in Cnr there are still posters burying their heads in the sand saying it will multibag and everything will end rosy. I have traded there so missed the big drops and currently breakeven like here but it is very easy to not consider the risks and see only blue sky. Very similar jurisdiction although somewhat safer on the ground.

My last on this for a bit, but we wouldn’t want peeps investing on the strength of 3 m reserves in a year post would we???

Dr, yes I agree that is what he meant. As you say there is back catalogue to put towards a maiden jorc with some more drilling. That is a wholly different thing to 3 m oz and reserves. Let’s keep things realistic b t!

However even that is on the hopeful side imv but let’s see when we actually start drilling. Agreed the pog gives Omi the best possible backdrop .

I cannot invest on the back of j/v idea until one appears. Agree that is best case scenario because I just do not see how Omi will raise the kind of funds needed to prove this up. Serious mining investors invest in companies run by bod with track record and skin in the game. Omi has neither. The ceo is in his own words failed in his attempt in finance. He may be great at cracking rocks but does he know how to raise large funds . It is telling that we are dual listed in Canada but most of cash is raised here. Canada, home of mining.

A j/ v would be best news but not sure how likely that is.

That said , at 4 p I hope for some trading ops here on news and evaluate as we go. Quite happy to give him credit if he pulls things off.

St, agree even without interest rate cuts pog has done well. This project timing will be in a good phase of pog cycle that is a good plus agreed

Bt. You don’t get a reserve until a pea pfs and then a bfs is completed . That’s a reserve! And that takes piles of further until drilling.

Brad kind of mumbles about there being 1/2 a m oz and there could be 3 m . You obviously have no clue if you think Omi can prove up 3 m oz in a year in any jorc estimate . Sorry. No clue!

Re U.S. interest rates. 1 cut this year is what I have seen forcast. The problem is the ammount of us debt covered by treasuries.lets see on both . Meanwhile let’s just see when the deal is completed, next cash raise and when drills turn.
