know what you mean about keeping track,I have about 30 shares in a few accounts and about 25 cryptos. havnt really looked at hzm,got a much friendlier 5 year graph than cnr . not sure on my percentages tbh ,but my biggest are omi,arcm ,sar, shg,then a whole pile at lower levels. first bought in here around 4p I think but been adding while down below 10p. I expanded quite a lot during first lockdown and spent a lot more time on it.
when I get a good multibagger I like to buy into something new after taking profit to spread the risk more. last year was a good opportunity with ncyt,avct ,sar,odx and synergen.
I am hopeful here, very early days but as with cnr 10 years ago, the early stagers can be very profitable . i always seem to be raiding my bank acc for trading or selling something else .always interesting to me talking general strategy etc. good luck .

hi, E L, 10 per cent still a fair bit. what percentage have you got in cnr if you dont mind me asking ? omi is my largest holding but partly because it has multied well. but a reasonable little pot in here that has done fairly well even with the last few months.

mega day on nu today,up over 500% in 3 hours,just couldnt resist selling half. yes connect somewhat more exciting in the ponzis. thats where my spare cash is going for the next month.loaded on gold producers this last month.

el, gold storming in the last 24 hours. the market is waiting to see the next fundraise out of the way imv since mc confirmed it months ago. bit of a mistake imv. I said ages ago that the raise was likely to be around 36 p and got called a de ramper, now here we are at 36 p and still waiting for the raise.could now be sub 30 p at this rate. I would imagine that mellon,mc and fm could probably account for the whole. will be interesting to see if there are any attached goodies and if they are at a discount.If they want to give some strength to the sp I suggest a raise slightly higher than the vwap would be the way to go.cnr did raise once many moons ago at a premium. lets hope that cnr has a delayed lift from a rising gold price if it continues.

hi learner. I have just entered negative territory here which I don't like. yes selling is an art thats much harder than pressing the buy button. but you need to be in profit to top slice lol. been keeping an eye on xtr but not holding. definitely would have paid to have top sliced on ggp. I had a quick bag in and out a few years ago but stupidly sold all rather than half. omi is worth checking out ,has ggp similarities buy obvs dyor. thats my biggest holding right now . been adding at around 15 p .wouldnt go much higher though.
regarding timelines, although groundwork is going ahead as we speak I would expect the build to take at least a year from funding and mc states 3 months for ramp up before commercial production.so for me best case scenario would be towards end of 2023 but knowing cnr and timelines I stick with q1 2024.And that is without any supply issues.we are heading into high inflation, high energy cost and bad supply period as we know so caution is my watch word generally for the next couple of years.
i am well stocked with goldies , particularly producers now, and getting there with crypto too for the coming months connect .going to be an interesting 6 months.

jt, not really predicting 50 p just can't see it above.I think 40-45 if we get the next raise out of the way soon. unfortunately, your guess is quite possible . unusually I agree with nero, the gold sector has been dragged down for the last year with the gold price, particularly producers. However there are good examples out there of profitable mainly early stage explorers even with recent drops.

cnr suffers somewhat by not following the gold price keenly like a producer or getting the large rises from drilling of an early stager like it did 10 years ago. the orphan period.
i don't expect an election lift as the result is a foregone conclusion already . learner you say shouldn't take too long to be in production, guess it depends on what you call too long.what do you term not too long?

hi jt, gonna put my head on the chopping block as usual, I think anywhere near 50p would be nice .cant see 50p plus tbh.

c l. didn't say I expect 10 p . My response was to a post saying g £1 plus by year end . I would be happy in the twenties waiting for the next push up. but anything sub 50 p is nearer 10 p than £1.
I am happy as long as we don't drop too much more . 14 p seems to have been the resistance previously.
if they are serious I would expect a lot more than $4 m on exploring so that will be interesting to hearing could be a good mover on sp along with the gold price rising which is pretty likely .

hi chuck, personally , I am in since sub 4 p so have seen a multi bagger already so the majors are somewhat priced in thus far imv. it is very early days yet with probably 10 years before production. we will likely see spikes around news and fallbacks after as we have seen for the last year but note we have not got anywhere near the 40 p level since. there is no jorc yet to value omi so it is basically priced on sentiment which is why we have such a big swing in sp for the last year and not forgetting a dropping gold price.
I think sub 20 p is a good buy in price and sub 15 a very good buy price but I will not be paying over 20 p personally unless re buying lower . I am overweight presently tbh .
calibre in Nicaragua have 16 rigs turning presently and an annual budget of around $18m so I am interested to see what kind of budgets are coming next because $4 m would be pretty small .
for me, buying the lows and selling a bit on the spikes is the order of the day until we have a definitive flow of news.
still sticking to my forecast of being closer to 10 p than £1 pound at the end of the year .Idont think outlandish forecasts help except encourage newbies to get spiked which isn't good for sentiment. lets see when we establish a proper base in the twenties.
nobody is giving any comparison for their m cap except ggp which I don't believe is helpful.any other examples tend to have a m cap less or similar to omi . recently taken a punt on hum that is debt free 100 k ozpa , just agreed non dilutive finance for another 100 coz pa mine and is around £ 70 m m cap. there has to be some reasoning for me.yes I know two majors, cash in the bank atm etc . still need to see how it pans out but meantime 15p nice 20p plus to buy ,why ,unless you missed the boat for loading up. thats mr reds synopsis.forget the name of the poster that predicted sp over £1 by year end and got shirty but 2.5 months for a 6 bagger ,bring it on. personally Like to stay grounded and would be happy over 20p by then.

hi punter, I just re entered hum. mc consistently mentions debt equity but lets hope he can find the best solution. Guess hum being debt free but with an income stream probably makes a significant difference as well as having already built a mine on budget and on time .
a good six months imv before funding and a full timer now on the case so lets hope for a good rise in gold price and sentiment.
tester, I don't see a repeat of the protests of 2018 what I am watching is what further sanctions may follow this election and whether there will be any impact . more likely to impact sentiment than operations I would imagine but we don't want that either before a mine raise.

bought back in here. missed the 15 p bottom but hey. ran with this from 14 p up to high twenties a few years back .looking to add a bit more gradually depending on news.

learner, that woulda been a decent trade. Been toying with the idea of buying some hum as a punt but missed the 15 p buy.
As mc alluded, elections are a formality. whats not so clear is the international response afterwards.
mc has been saying about offers for finance for a couple of years so nothing new there. No reason to doubt as the economics are strong. He mentioned 60/40 equity and $100m capex. Assuming that perhaps a small part of that will already be accounted for i.e. mill. he mentions q1 for finance , for me that means likely march april. 1 yr to 18 months for construction and hopefully 3 months for ramp up before commercial production.so sounds more like mr reds early 2004 for commercial production rather than our director and largest shareholder mellons 2021 . just remains to be seen how much dilution and at what sp. 40 per cent of $100m would be $40m roughly £30m which at todays sp would be about 75 m shares plus imo another 15m shares soon for the interim raise.could well be looking at 250 m shares by time of production. lets hope that the sp has risen somewhat by the time of next years.would hope the gold price will have taken an upturn by then so quite possible.

c f, agree. Have you noticed in the calibre releases that calibre have a joint copper venture with rio . read it somewhere in calibres presentations ?

ccc, todays sp is far from irrelevant as we are close to a cash raise . we should see soon in the next placing how committed fm are. hopefully they will take a good portion . if you took 50 p shares you would imagine they will want more at what is likely to be 35 p or under imo.
hopefully by the time of mine finance the gold price will have moved north and hopefully the sp.
