Hi geo, I like sng , sold out around todays price or a bit higher actually last year after multibagging ,only to see it go to around £2.50. maybe have a punt . Of course there is also long covid to think about . Thats a big gamble putting everything on one share . good luck buddy , hope it works for you. It is rewarding investing in something that aims to help people . Should appeal to the moralists here.
Personally , crypto working too good atm , bought loopring on sat ,$1.18 , took stake out at $3 this morning and running on free from here.

Yes ,agree copper .I have some copper exposure with aaz,arcm,thr and southern copper. A couple of cnr posters recomended rmm at around 50 p . thought about adding sub 20 p but cant buy them all.may have a punt if I have a result elsewhere.

W j, the sp was a fair bit higher at the time. I think anouncing a very agressive drilling campaign could be conducive with a decent rise but peeps have to be realistic as to where we are in this journey in respect to m cap. Also the market is not doing any gold explorers any favours presently.
Could get to twenty p with the right news quite quickly. which to me would be decent.

I had a great run in most of the covid related shares including sng. I sold half when it multibagged but stupidly cleared the other half and bought back in here. I still hold some freebies in ncyt,avct and re bought sar. Sng have the asthma market dont they ?
I remember a poster posting they had borrowed to top up in the basement. Well done and glad you got out with your pants. Nothing to stop you banking some profit later and bringing a bit back here. After financing would probably be safest . May take a peek re sng .

Bhargav, yes watch and wait. I think the size of the next drilling campaign will determine which way the sp goes. I dont see $4 m setting the world alight there are plenty of minnows putting that much to drilling. Hoping for a big increase on that and rigs.
I can add all I I want here under 20 p and am fairly overweight already.

I mention that quote as a poster here was predicting a sp above a pound by end of year and I had a bit of stick for that closer to ten p quote . 7 weeks to go, you never know . I just dont like posters trying to mislead people with overly optomistic , or downright outrageous predictions.

nero. Every goldie bb is trying to justify undervalue citing ggp and generally not a great comparison as is the case here, I would stick as c f has done using calibre.
Calibre has production at around 180 k oz and soon to be 255 koz pa. They also have no debt and $70m cash, soon to increase. Their mcap is $400m usd or £300 m . £200m is low ball for condor when in production,but in debt and no cash. So if you take off calibres cash and allow for debt payments condor would be worth the same kind of figure except calibre has upside priced in.
Personally I find this logic hard to follow .
I do imagine that if calibre achieve 500k oz and I would be surprised if they dont their m cap would be in the billions $. They are likely to achieve this before cnr reach 150k oz imv. My thought is to split my Nicaragua exposure between both calibre having the added benefit of adding a safe jurisdiction asset and I would expect perhaps their next to be also. Although nobody seems to see an issue I am wary of any US and eu sanctions and think calibre, already in production are less likely to be affected .could be wrong of course.
Agree about large miners with a dividend . I have been collecting cey, aaz and shg at the low point for a while although not major league nice divi payers . Rio paying well and added a few b 2 which also pay a decent dividend and up 20 p cent on the month finally last time I looked..First majestic also, up around 20 p cent on the month finally,not a great divi though.
Agree that both calibre and first majestic could well be a suitor, however I would have expected a good portion of the recent placing going to fm if they had designs and found 50 p yummy. Has anybody heard if they participated?
A toll deal is for sure for a number of reasons the best case scenario although apparently Mellon was not so keen . It is a good two years at least imv till revenue so toll would be extremely beneficial for that period and particularly to minimise the next placing. A jump in the gold price obviously would be very handy too.
Has to be said most of my mining pf are not looking so good presently but a good opportunity maybe for top ups. producers for me right now though.

Bhargav, A $ 4 m spend is very small so hope they are going to significantly surpass. Calibre in Nicaragua have a $17 m spend with 16 rigs turning and they are a $400 m cap producer.
Expectations have been ramped up beyond where the company has got to imv and many starting to feel the pain.
Nearer 10 p than a pound by year end looking like a reasonable comment to me.

Good link c f, shows up the differences with cnr . People like rick rule , sprott etc generally state that they like to invest in companies with management that have a successful track record in mining. The speed at which the newmarket team have transformed calibre is in stark contrast to the painfully slow progress here. To think that many here thought that paying around about the estimate for our mine finance for two producing mines was a bad deal !
Yep it is entirely possible that calibre may have a go at some point . Personally I wouldnt rule out equinox either . very similar model, aquire undervalued or underperforming assets cheap. They have inside information on the geology and highly likely that they would think that they can add significant value .
Still think calibre would likely want to diversify more in regard to jurisdiction yet.
Would imagine 500 k oz production putting calibre in the $2b m cap plus category . I am looking to add calibre , perhaps at the expense of some cnr shares. Seems like a better bet for the short to medium term and less vulnerable in the same location. Wont be a popular view obviously .

Hi C F, personally not adding until either a toll deal or the mine build funding is complete. I cancelled my limit order for 40 p when we looked likely to go sub 40 p as it was obvious that when the placing came that it would be discounted. My view is that the market also knows that a much larger placing is on its way in 6 months so is unlikely to see a big uplift in the sp unless a toll deal is anounced. Like you I see £200m m cap based on todays valuations which doesnt clear £1 ps at production given my expectations for dilution so not a massive incentive imv to get over excited. I am looking just as in 2018 to producers for a more guaranteed return when the gold price rises. B 2 golds sp bottomed in sept 2018 , and rose with gold price, cnr sp more than a year later was around 18 p .
I am also waiting to see the nature of the us , eu sanctions. I dont believe international sanctions will help in the funding search . Some are hoping that hiring calibres ex finance officer will perhaps result in some sweetheart funding deal. I find that unlikely since the higher regarded management team at calibre still involved a fair bit of equity finance . Cnr will of course get funding dont get me wrong but strong sanctions will not make it easier.
Another caution is agnico eagle recently cited aisc rising due to fuel , re agent /energy costs,labour costs and supply chain issues. So there is a negative as well as well as a possible positive re inlationary period. Imagine the scenario of high inflationary costs and a gold price drop . A possibility that nobody imagines, but not impossible at some point. just a thought. I suspect that our aisc will end up being similar to calibres by the time we are producing .
I think 35 p is a decent buy price for peeps on a longterm basis but I see better reward scenarios elsewhere for me and am in around 40 p so it would take a further drop to tempt me .

there was a significant spell of ggp talk here, not saying how much you were involved, my point is, I don't have a problem with people exchanging views , but I do have a problem with the arbitrary nature of the bb police. when you make things personal it puts the recipient in the position of having to respond and justify themselves and then you complain that people are justifying their right to post.

I try and keep to facts and show method. some while ago I Had an exchange with you because I reckoned on there being a placement, at around 35 p and the likelihood of warrants . you mentioned that the previous placing didn't . fair point. we have just had a placing at 35p with warrants. I was called a de ramper by icb among others when I suggested it and also a de ramper when I got it pretty well spot on . Is this reasonable. nero continually posts in a particularly obnoxious fashion towards posters who have a differing outlook to his, particularly myself. I am capable of getting just as ugly if needs be, but prefer reasoned debate.
In regard to keeping everything cnr related , why ? there is much of the time when this board is extremely quiet, why are some people so threatened by conversation. you yourself recommended ggp to me just after christmas a couple of years ago. I had a small punt and exited unfortunately with a bag. I associated ggp with mr Bell and would never trust him again. yourself and many others discussed ggp at length here. duckey who said hi yesterday will probably tell you I recomended buying cnr at around 20 p on another board . Believe he did rather nicely. If you don't like someones posting , either counter reasonably, filter or simply ignore my posts.

It was nero who wanted to know how many shares I hold as if it matters and nero who claims his tech job gives him the high ground to write off crypto. I have no issue with you or anything you have said. my problem has been with neros attitude and the way he has talked to me particularly and others. there are a hardcore of half a dozen posters that want to intimidate and kill debate and feel it their right to just be rude and get away with it. its not healthy and you shouldn't be driven off . I have always found your posting balanced and courteous. I don't know your job and don't care if people are working class or middle class. I mentioned that I am working class and not particularly wealthy to explain my reasons for getting in to crypto. crypto is a good way for poorer people to change their circumstances and its happening. certainly wasn't a pop at you.

as for this pseudo morality , how can you hold gold shares ? do I need to post videos of children forced down mines or indigenous people enslaved in venezuela by terrorist groups. there is no moral high ground its bull. there are plenty of people fairly poor people transforming their lives through crypto that would never do it through dodgy aim . there are a lot of morally superior crypto plays than divisive , polluting gold mines. . now china has banned crypto it is going green at full pace. cleanspark is 98 per cent green .it is the establishment that nero apparently hates that has most reason to try taking down the crypto industry.
