isa, I am assuming that if a bid situation happened it would be a closed period. I guess if you think a bid is at all likely it could be sensible to bag your lower priced options early. just curious of that scenario.

noel, you predicted 70p from your charts when you started posting here. so we are at much less than half one of your predictions. so if you predict 70p and 30p you have a fair chance of getting one right at some point .

allymc, gran colombia has a m cap of around £300 m , pays a dividend ,monster grades producing around 200k oz with another extremely large mine to develop in another jurisdiction. I am looking forward to gains here but like the poster last year predicting sp of £1 by the year end last year, I think it best to be realistic. nice steady build here rather than spike and retrace atm.personally looking for an opportunity to de risk a little in mid twenties.

buy when nobody else wants them. been buying fairly regular small amounts down from 15 p to 10 p and had no problems. All done for me now unless we have a sudden reverse. hope not . Nice to see a couple of decent days now. personally still looking to de risk in twenties and the sooner the better. Hoping the webinar pushes us along. earsbern , the same argument was used three years ago before the cayman case. Most here were predicting hope dishing out an out of court capitulation in early 2019 . it is not unusual for financers of distressed companies to demand a seat on the board of failing companies to keep an eye on their investment and zm was clearly untrustworthy and now at odds with sn . hard to imagine how this is more convincing in court than nearly 3 years ago. it has turned out that omf were right to not trust zm and he is the director with clear fiduciary breaches . I just cannot see anything here for holders apart from continuing soap opera.

hi cf , yes a couple of years old but illustrative of zijin and chinese aquisitional nature. not considering mako . calibre thew only serious possibility but agree toll needs to be agreed well before finance to be able to affect sp and influence equity raise imv . Not too long to find out now in the big scheme of things.

of course the deal scenario is a possibility at any point after bfs and land completion. cnr are not going to sell under mc incentive of £1 . a share price around 70 p is likely to command a 30% premium in an offer scenario . would certainly hope to see sp bottom in the next month or two and sp building after funding. yes an interesting year ahead and we should at least for the first time have an idea on timeline by end of summer. good luck with any top up guys.

that time of the year, makes change to read some realistic posts regarding timescales . dddd, I err slightly later with timescales. reckon q4 2023/q1 2024. one thing I have noted from rio 2 and mako is ramp up period of a year .with that in mind although the studies give a 1 year payback Would imagine that being at full 100 k oz production so am predicting perhaps end of 2025 for debt free .what is hard to guess is gold price and aisc in 3 years time or in between.
for me the toll deal is a big joker in this scenario. if it appears in the next couple of months we are off to the races. If it doesn't appear then quite dependent on gold price. still anyones guess there, read 2 kitco articles one saying $1500 gold and one all time high next year. to have a guess at sp like c f you have to guess on shares to be issued. without a toll I can also see 250 m shares. with a toll a fair bit less . calibre have a m cap around £300m mako £130m . it is no good saying we are massively undervalued when our relevant peers are valued at these levels. If we have 250 m shares to be £1 a share we would be valued near calibre which is laughable and nearly twice mako. obviously goldies are at a low presently so no allowance for a rise in there . with cnr funded probably till spring , for me a further dive into mid 20 s would be welcome to give a good chance at multi-bag .
although I am still cautious on politics the strengthening of the chinese axis may bring surprises.

how do you know I don't look at longterm trends? I have been in cnr for 11 years and seen it drop from £2 to presently sub 30p. I look at long and short term. I have looked at the longterm gold price and compared it to microsoft. I have a longterm position in cnr but short term trade when it is sensible to get more shares for less money . seems sensible . I found it less informative than C Fs interview that you were disparaging about but having re read your link there are always things to take away from most interviews. you are correct bubbles definitely are great until they are not. condor had a couple of stellar years until its longterm plummet. bubbles or bull markets always come to an end. bubbles ,cycles. however if you buy the best assets just like in the dotcom crash the best will shine through and be at bargain levels for a while. it is up to the investor to choose a successful exit strategy . Anyhow, cnr, funded for a good while so the way I see it the lower the better for a while would be good and give holders a chance to buy at a price that could justify a multi bagger .

kkk r . cheers for that.similar valuation as calibre, some great grades. £300 m m cap . I will be looking a bit longer at this one. I like dividends . Another good comparison for cnr but I am also in omi and there are posters over there that think that just having a couple of majors on board with no defined resource makes it worth £100m m cap and heading for billions.

rio 2 have already raised their equity in august for financing so $34 m is in that m cap . cnr still have to equity raise .
cf , yes they seem to be making a few assumptions and if I Was a holder there would probably take timescales there with a pinch of salt too. interesting his timeline of 1 year for ramp up to full production which sounds sensible. interesting what he mentioned about gvnt changes and hey presto boric is elected . that the project should be able to support extra taxes otherwise it is marginal. same for cnr , I expect taxes could be raised at some point and tbh it has room with the present situation being generous to multinationals.
icb rio 2 is a peer with more resource , I don't see since cnr still have to raise equity and chile is a more established mining destination that we are greatly undervalued in comparison. if we add on say £30 m for cnr finance gives us around £75m which is less but not significantly.
e l. yes the market is bombed out for sure presently . yes imagine that share price rises along with construction progress but of course issues can arise on the way . for me a good buying time for producers and some early stagers. added a few wsbn recently.
