from what I can see they have completed a $34 m equity raise . Interesting they had finance arranged without having permits finalised and studies. i still think 30% equity more likely . Best to be pleasantly surprised than constantly disappointed.
Talking of pan American noticeable on recent car interview stats that Beaty isn't mentioned at all . I was on galantas recently updated site and Beaty is listed along with sprott as supportive shareholders.
bought some calibre this week . I am still happy to bottom fish here though if we go proper sub 30p but looking bird in the hand presently . the toll deal is all important for me . Without it I can't see sp doing much til possibly bfs but more likely after financing but of course I could be completely wrong . didn't see last weeks spike coming without toll news. I still think 30 % is more likely . the share price when equity finance is raised is as important as the percentage although when you look at old ones that are at 14% discounts and then you talk about warrants it is easy to see how this could be painful in the short term.

not looked in here for a bit. blimey . unfortunately , this is aim and gold investing. I did try warning not to overpay and beware of unfounded valuations. who was that moron predicting over a pound by year end. I did say closer to 10p. trading is the only way to protect yourself in these type of shares imv. the majors have their own agenda that doesnt necessarily benefit us. as for management, never trust aim directors, most aim companies seem to be set up primarily to benefit them .imp, thr are a good case in point.I have some from 10 years ago, what a waste of time. as imp has mentioned, upcoming elections could well bring in anti mining petro. apart from ggp nobody has actually given an example of an early stager with no defined resource with the massive m cap some have expected.
on the plus side , the whole of the gold sector is hammered . personally been adding producers as well as a few in wsbn and cora and a few more here. two years ago I would have been happy with 10p now but I need to stop averaging up. just hope there is not too much more downside. good luck everybody.

I am easy either way tbh . still holding some cnr. been crystallising some losses recently inc cnr . the few I re bought were 20% cheaper than my last sale and 30% lower than my previous sell but yes things can change and ge t caught out. I enjoy the risk and tbh it has worked much better for me than just sitting on my hands but its not for everyone and obviously not having a lot of free cash does influence my strategy. been bargain hunting this morning and adding some calibre and b2 this afternoon.
ncyt doing nicely and sng not bad so might pull a bit out from there if they have a good run.

arok, I posted last night it caught me on the hop . I bought a few last week but was expecting a continued drop to buy into. I posted last week that a lot of the red was in fact blue. There were few actual sells and a large buy showing as a sell when I bought a few. what seems odd to me is that other peeps here weren't buying sub 30 p but bought at 35p yet cannot believe that someone would have the sense to buy 7 p lower lol. selling at just under 36p and buying under 30p makes sense to me would have preferred an extended spell lower to get a decent amount but there you go. mc recent comments re toll making raising the risk/reward for me. I have different strategy to most here ,I want more shares but not prepared to put new money in. interested for the reason for the rise and whether it continues or whether there is a return to twenties to have a proper top up. can't imagine that a load of cheap options near year low is the reason for the rise but nice if you can get it.

E L, interesting times in latin America. Neighbouring Hondurus just electing a leftist leader who is planning to call in the un to help sort out similar issues in Honduras due to the right wing gvnt that Nicaragua suffer under ortega. she is also planning to switch from Taiwan to china . colombia and chile have a good chance of electing leftist leaders in the next 6 months. china bought a large gold mine in colombia so who knows , perhaps we could be looking eastwards. Nicaragua pulling out of oas aligns them more with countries like china and Russia with similar policy on retaining power, although ortega has long established ties with china and Russia. I don't envisage cnr unable to finance but situation isn't ideal . sanctions are aimed at individuals presently and stated aims are to not affect Nicaraguans in general.
as you say, it is the level of dilution that is the major issue for holders and the possible toll deal being an important part. yes maybe mellon will finance. treading water until finance or toll is clear imo. lets hope mc trip proves successful.

c f , reckon so. They are producing gold and proving up at a fantastic rate . Hard to remember that they have only had the asset two years . multi jurisdiction and more acquisitions to come. A better bet than here presently I think.
icb, when I said I expected a placing at around 36 p you called that de ramping. we are now at 28 p and you are still going on about pesky de rampers . At least you are not trying to blame 45 -28p on de ramping lol. gold producers generally went up around 20 % in sept oct with the gold price and have now given that up with the gold price. They will go up again with the gold price however no guarantee cnr will follow. cnr is neither a producer or gets the spikes of early stage explorers. However they are all down atm and ideal for adding the best value. for me producers atm.
gold price bottomed under $1200 sept 2018 cnr sp even after rebellion was 39 p, today gold price circa $1780 today 28p

2 years ago cnr sp 20p calibre sp 90c gold price $1460

b2gold sp followed gold up from sept 2018 to oct 2020. most producers have dropped from the turn of this year
cnr has more than doubled the amount of shares in this time. cnr sp didn't directly follow the rise in gold .
three years ago most were predicting a much higher share price to accompany higher gold price, well here we are with gold around 45% higher and cnr sp the same price as 3 years ago and still a long way from production unless hopefully the toll deal happens.

Simms, mc stated mine designs and fs for q1 and finance hopefully first half. There is also the non issue of purchase of the 3% 0f land. He also refused to rule out another raise prior to funding and I suspect fairly possible for spring . I think as usual the over optimistic reading of timelines will result in disapointment.
Agree with E l, volume is small and tbh much of the red has actually been blue. However I cannot see large investors diving in before finance unless a toll deal is anounced. Personally looking to buy back on the drop for that scenario. Lower to go yet imv .
Been adding cheap producers just like a few months ago. Although producers have dropped significantly during the last month many had risen 20 % the month previous and will move a lot more with a gold rise than cnr which has its own issues to deal with currently . Toll deal please.

tester, yes 18 p bottoms twice have been by far the best opportunity here. looking to buy back gradually on hopes of the toll deal coming together.

johngle. sp heading into 20 s as we speak. we all have our own methods of valuation. presently calibre m cap is the most sensible comparison although they are presently 180 k oz producer ,soon to be 240 k oz ,no debt and a pile of cash in the bank .last time I looked they had a m cap around $300m so all one needs to do is work out how many condor shares will be in circulation when production starts. my guess is in excess of 200m and more likely 250m.
A toll deal will significantly help the economics but don't envisage it eliminating dilution completely.
i disagree with your point that it doesn't matter whether you pay 40 or 20p . As regards mellon. mc and mellon are old hong kong banking buddies. mellon has paid £1.60 in the past .using a billionaire tax haven elite as a model is irrelevant to me . this is a small mates punt that can be comfortably written off against other gains. nero recently posted he had bought at 36 p as if it is good enough for mellon.I sold some at just under 36p and invested elsewhere and am now looking at re buying sub 30p . if this hits 20 p which it has done on a couple of occasions in the past a multibagger is extremely likely and in the short term rather than gambling on years down the line. 40p plus is not so clear and obviously less likely. yes you can look 4 years down the road but who knowns what the next 4 years hold in store generally. i prefer the 20s multi bagger scenario personally. mc recent comments re tolling makes the risk reward a lot higher for me particularly at a much reduced sp.
you are buying in at a good time hopefully and will see lower yet I think .

Icb, if fm think 50 p is so cheap, have they bought shares in the recent 36 p placing if they value cnr shares at £1 .Your logic is beyond me tbh. Most cnr holders that have paid a 50 p entry price would be buying at 35 p or as now 30 p .
Again just in case you cannot process English without twisting it , I have always stated toll deal is extremely desireable even when allegedly according to mc Mellon wasnt so keen and some of the "brains " on this bb. From mc interview, he mentions toll in a way that to me does infer movement on a toll appears to be happening . If that turns out to be the case it will be good news for the sp . Personally considering re investing what I sold recently at just shy of 36 p on the strength of that but is a calculated risk that it will transpire . Anyhow I do think sub 30 p is worth adding gradually . The market values cnr shares not you or calibre, the only time mentioning calibres valuation is if they make an aproach . Personally I would be happy with buying at sub 30 p and selling anywhere near your /calibre. Valuation . Is that £1 Presently btw? Johngle ,a couple of lth posted recently to confirm that in hindsight that my posting of three or more years ago wasnt as they had thought ,de ramping but more sensible than much of the blind faith posts here and Barnard apologised for some of the things he said back then which is appreciated . That takes a much bigger and more sensible man than the likes of icb .
you are buying at a decent time but you may well see lower prices yet.
The toll deal possibility is the joker in the pack .if it is agreed the sp is most likely to rise sharply . If it doesnt happen and we head to financing mid next year without it its anybodys guess what the sp could be. However it also depends what timescale you are investing for. My last sell was just under 36 p and may buy a few back soon if there is a further drop under 30 p just in case the toll deal should be anounced in the next month or two. Good luck .

Hi cf, I have slightly different recollection, but I was a de ramper for saying we would need updated pfs and a bfs which made certain posters over optimistic timelines unlikely. Anyhow result the same. Over optimistic timeframe and more cash needed.
Absolutely agree , toll is key now imo. A toll agreed prior to raise is what we want.
Agree we will need all land imv before finance so delays are possible there.
Mc has generally stated that construction would be 18-24 months , recently 12-18 months presumably because we have a mill and done some prep work . The only guessing game has been when would the project be ready for finance . I have always found adding some extra time onto the vague timelines best. .mr lion curve is very possible so now the important thing is what price the curve starts at .25 p ,30 p ,40 p 50 p £1 etc . Take your pick at guessing that one folks but the sp at funding is the all important one for lthers .New arrivals it is a different scenario. Newbies may well see a double bagger as good from whatever level they buy whereas many here have stated they want £ sss to make their 10 or 15 year wait worth it.

Icb, I have been stating for ages that production is unlikely till 2024 , mc has come pretty close to confirming that in this webinar despite our director mellon making noises about 100 k oz production . I said a 36 p raise as an estimate before you or anybody else even mentioned a raise.
If you are going to call me a de ramper, please could you give the specific things I have posted that are either untrue or de ramping .It would not be hard for me to point to extremely over optimistic forcasts by most posters here for years .
If you disagree with any of my points you could of course offer an alternative . Like perhaps when do you expect production . I mention the toll deal as I always have as very positive if it happens .mc mentioned it in a way as to infer there is something happening. . I have never said a toll deal wont happen ,I dont know but have continually said that it is a very desireable situation whereas many have said mellon isnt a supporter of the idea. The need for bfs for financing . A number of years ago when I questioned the timescales and citing the needed for updated pfs and bfs we were told by mc and nero that it wasnt needed . Now it is absolutely essential for funding and industry wide expectation .Slightly strange volte face but not unsurprising.
Land clearance and land purchase listed as achievements for this year . However these were listed as aims during financing in early 2020 for last year and still 3 % left near the end of 2021. Yes he continues to state it is a non issue,why then do we need to consider the possibility of compulsory purchase and how long may that take ? Is this another requisite for financing?
Chances of another raise towards end of q1 very real imv .
The comment re toll milling is interesting and the unknown in the list . If it comes off successfully it changes the scenario, particularly for share holders . Otherwise the market knows right now that there is a big raise sometime next year and possibly another interim one which is likely to weigh on the sp.
