Hi c f, interesting read. I think it is going to become obvious that generally aisc are going up as more goldies report . A eagle disclosed this recently . There is no telling what the gold price will be when in production but one thing is almost guaranteed is that aisc will be higher. I cant imagine that our predicted aisc will turn out to be much different from calibre or mako which is pretty reasonable.
Do you know when Makos first pour was by any chance ?

C f, hum rns doesnt state unrest at their mine specifically but we know that management can be less than transparent sometimes. protests against re settlement at la India spring to mind. Mines are easy to cut off in this manner .Happens often in Peru ,Bolivia etc . Hums various issues do show that even when you get to production there are a whole pile of possible issues.
Personally been getting a few hum shares recently and may add a few more to hold medium term .A little punt .Did ok with them last time they were around 14 p

Bhargav, cheers for the cash clarification . All good. Still adding but getting a bit overweight . De risk in 20 s still my strategy . I like being de risked if possible and running On free if possible with the option to re buy lower . Having said that , I originally set 10 p sell limit and kept raising it into the thirties on first rise so depends somewhat on the nature of the rise.

I reckoned ages before that we were looking at a 35 p raise most likely with warrants ,you called me a de ramper. we get said placing at exactly that price , you defend the raise and call me a de ramper. I continually question the idea that production will be next year I am a de ramper , yet this tweet says similar , I am a de ramper but this tweet is great. just like using calibre as a comparison is de ramping . the logic is pathetic.

Bhargav, thanks for the correction re £ and $ . You bring up an interesting point, they will have their own agenda for drilling and may not necesarilly be the rocket fuel hoped for here over the next year. Agree it is all speculation at this point and their plan is to their own agenda.Personally glad I didnt get enthusiastic over 20 p . This is a long road with many twists and personally I hope to de risk at over 20 p . People often make the mistake of taking a sentiment driven spike to be a value marker but unfortunately it often fails to be the case. However I could well change opinion depending on what transpires.
I originally set 10 p limit sells but continually raised them until into the mid thirties . I guess you have to gauge the market sentiment all the time. Presently I think breaching 20 p would be some achievement and unless it was a sustained rise I would sell some and wait for the fallback. Still adding a few sub 12 p .
Hoping for a big increase on drilling . That disclosure would help the sp. Any idea on the cash situation currently ?

E l, I have been saying for quite a while that cnr have been suffering from the orphan period missing the sentiment gains of early explorers or the instant impact of rising gold price that producers will get. Thats why the last few months I have mainly bought producers and previously good risk early stagers. Also stated confirmation of finance is the time to buy here . However if the sp dives further wouldnt write off adding some sub 30 p and tbh it looks quite possible in the short term.
It remains to be seen if finance is concluded in q1 . It wont surprise me too much if that timeline slips so caution up to that point for me ,meanwhile make some cash elsewhere seems sensible to me.
The issue for longterm investors is, how low will the sp be at finance time before the curve starts ?
Obviously if the sp is in the low twenties 50 p will be a fair curve . Note that by far the worst dilution levels, ie raise price has been since the gold price moved from its low in late 2018 . That is what has left cnr unable to justify an sp near £1 and the level of finance dilution will also determine that going forward. 200 m shares makes £1 p share a £200 m m cap . I suspect quite a lot more than 200 m shares are likely .
As before the caveat still for me is a toll deal anouncement prior to finance .
O t ,nice rise in wsbn recently ,grabbed some around 7.5p . Good possibilities there ,buying the dips with the odd sell on spikes the order of the day for me.

C f, that article dated jan 2021, shovel ready with finance, expected first pour q3 2023 . We hope for funding in q1 2022 but not guaranteed . So a similar timescale takes us towards 2024 which is what I have been saying for ages .Thats not commercial production either and not allowing for any holdups, like land purchase etc. Anybody thinking there is going to be production in 2002 is in for more disappointment imv.
Currently Nicaragua is planning to withdraw from the oas, have recently arrested their former oas ambassador. They are dropping visa requirements for cubans, forging stronger links with Russia,china, turkey, Belarus china . Us, eu ,uk sanctions and an increasingly belligerent attitude from ortega is not going to be helpful in the funding situation. Not saying funding wont be attainable but It may not be as easy as some think if the diplomatic situation gets worse ,and I suspect it may well do.

2 rein, £4m is very small exploration budget and personally I will be disapointed if this isnt significantly increased . I would expect them to want to know more than £4m buys you by sept 2022.

Gold price bottomed sept 2018 at $us 1297 cnr sp around 40 p , jan 2019 ,gold risen significantly cnr sp 18p..
I n my post I referred to the period since strategic review so if we look at cnr sp over 5 years it has basically more than halved in fact it has halved in 3.5 years .

all have done well over the last couple of years and I have multibagged in all but cora. Obviously anyone can manipulate a point depending on how they use stats but most here are most concerned with the last few years and the time of worst dilution levels and there have been plenty of better performing goldies. Cnr are stuck in no mans land presently being neither a producer or a near term explorer. The problem is how much more time and how much more dilution is needed . Being simple and halfwitted has been rather rewarding these past few years for me thanks lol .

Hirsch, the more telling period is from the strategic review onwards ,gold at $circa$1100. Sp was double todays . Since then is when the most damaging dilution has happened. Cnr wasnt set up for production and has gradually had to head that way. Cnr is neither an early stage explorer or a producer .you can trace producers sp north from q4 2018 up until last summer .
Nero misses out ggp,wsbn,cora,omi and many other succesful explorers in the last 4 years .most sucessful producers sp is above where it was 6 years ago sorry Nero .
Nero couldnt see the breakout from bear market from $1100 at the time and still cant.
cnr is in the orphan period until mine build is financed and well into construction .The only caveat is a toll deal which would be very beneficial and change things considerably but apparently mellon wasnt keen on this option . Wonder why ?

Lets get to twenty p before talking about £ s . There are debt free dividend paying producers valued less than some think omi and wsbn are worth with no resource . Best to keep grounded. Sub 10 p buys were nice and 20 p would be a very nice near/ medium term target for me. Anything more a very welcome bonus. Hell last week we were rubbish . Lols

Slim, fm had a new mill that they no longer needed ,it was probably the best deal for them at the time. I think 50 p for them is fairly inconsequential compared to small holders at 50 p and just written down. Have we seen any sign that they participated at the the knockdown price is more telling seeing as most here were citing fms 50p as a fair valuation for cnr shares. Flawed thinking imv .

Pat, in those and Aaz ,poly and b2 . they are all going to move directly with the gold price,hopefully. Still possible issues here yet . After finance is agreed , depending on the terms for me is the time to be looking at going deep here. Good luck.

Tester, well done , absolutely sensible investing. I have reduced somewhat over the last couple of months into producers which are now giving up the last months gains but nice dividends from poly which is my favoured buy right now .
I hope you are correct that we will anounce a toll prior to mine finance otherwise it could be pretty painful . I am in shg and they are already starting to stockpile ore for their next onstream mine more than a year before predicted first pour. If financing is going to be q1 it is unlikely there will be any income by then even if agreed soon .I guess just confirmation of a toll deal should push sp up for financing. The chance of a toll deal being anounced is the only potential plus for the sp in the next 6 months imo and the reason I havnt bought recently . personally I doubt the financing will be completed in q1. Delays are the order of the day here.

Wayne, I think if they only invest £4m it will not set a rocket under this as it will take an age to prove up a serious resource at that rate so heres hoping for a significant increase.

Awax, I think you are extremely hopeful if you think we are a year away from first pour . A toll deal is the only thing I can see that will stop the mine finance being very painful to lth.
While some here think an election shoe in is the end of issues ,I am watching the unfolding uk,us and eu sanctions and Nicaragua now withdrawing from the oas and cannot see how this will be helpful when chasing finance . Current producers are in a safer position than cnr . Cnr have about £4 m .admn costs were£1.25 m for previous 9 months so if we deduct £800 m for next 6 months ,little over £3 m to finish fs , mine designs,buy land and any other expenses. Lets hope there are no holdups or we may see another interim raise around April.
Agree with cf , we want toll deal anounced by turn of the year to boost sp and lessen the ammount required in mine raise, although if mellons 100 k production in 2012 is to be believed ,hardly worth the bother. Never going to see production next year, no way.

Foreman , my sell hasnt cleared into my account yet. Not a fan of ii. I bought sng on weds afternoon sold here thurs morning, but still down around 8 p a share. Most of my cryptos are down too. Thats the nature of investing. My sell here will be going into the other bull run investment mentioned at the start of your video . Regarding sakura, I take on board various points of view, makes for more grounded investing.. For me sng is a modest punt, I multied on it last year so it has some credit with me.
It is good that you think It wise to consider negative viewpoints on a share. She may have valid points re sng , time will tell. I certainly wouldnt dismiss her views or be rude although she is coming in for some treatment over on the sng bb. Par for the course. Think she came in for a bit of the victor meldrew treatment when she posted on here a couple of years ago too if my memory serves.
Anyhow back to cnr ! I am cautious , still holding but taken some cash out for trading elsewhere but think 36 p is decent for buy in. My average is around 40p so not a fantastic incentive or loss. Good luck anyone buying ,36 to 45/50p quite do-able and a decent return.
