Nero, I am not in tech at all ,I am a woodworker . I am not interested in peeps warped moralistic take on crypto . When tester posted laughing at bitcoin crashing to $4500 I said it was a buying opportunity. Its now $46 k . I bought eth at $300 now $3400. Gormless investing is missing out on these kind of gains and perrenially averaging down in a share that listed at £2.70 and presently resides at 42 p . Re property, rent is dead money. Property will hit a peak and as in all cycles , those entering late will take the hit just like in crypto, gold and share sectors as most cnr holders now know. No matter what you do for a living your views on crypto doesnt affect others gains no matter how much you scoff. When the ponzi scheme ceases to exist then you can claim the high ground . Of course as in shares there are crypto that are not going to stand the test of time but many would have said the same of google once.
El, you can find articles claiming the earth is flat ,doesnt make it true. My reason for investing is to improve my finances. That article could just as well be levelled at a large section of hardly regulated aim which often is set up just to benefit bod's. Conning old grannies sounds like our biggest shareholder. Yes it is possible that crypto could collapse just like cnr sp did in el salvador and pretty much in Nicaragua thus far . thats investing . However bitcoin has been going about as long as my investment in cnr? Bitcoin listed. At around 50 c I believe cnr £2.70 . bitcoin is currently $45 k cnr 42 p . Anybody who hasnt put a bit of bitcoin in their pf is a fool imv but I know a lot of people that wouldnt dream of investing in mining shares for ethical reasons. Crypto will for sure have crashes but if eth or btc lost 90 per cent of their value ,anybody in for much more than a year would still not be out of pocket . Lets just hope gold doesnt crash which of course it will at some point .just a matter of when.
Just interested at what sale price do peeps think cnr would actually represent a profitable investment ? I suspect factoring in 7 -10 per cent real inflation pa £1 wouldnt give many here a real profit at £1 per share .
