Simms, neither you or I know the real reasons for failure of a calibre toll deal . However it would seem logical to me that our new man as cfo will have had input on this. Calibres stated aim is to expand through new exploration as well as aquisition. It is entirely possible that seeing the slow progress cnr have made that they could see an issue further down the line as they are doing everything ahead of schedule with explo,permits and bringing mines on stream.
Who knows why he left . It could well be that he had completed his main function,leaving calibre debt free and cash rich within two tears ,and probably options there too. To think that some on this board reckoned the calibre deal was a bad one and wouldnt even manage to get funding lol. A lot of incorrect speculation peddled .
Will be interested to see the rest of his remuneration . 750 k shares is pretty tasty on top of a salary . £400 k ish at £1 per share .
Anyhow, seems a good and curious appointment. Very good to have someone onboard who has done such a good job of transforming calibre who were m cap mirror image of cnr into what they are now .maybe we gonna buyout mako lol.

Calibre ,have $64 m cash ,no debt and do not pay a dividend. Cey pay currently a 12 per cent dividend as a result of a dropping sp . The best thing for is to increase production and exploration redy for a bid ,which is mc stated aims . None of which suggests early dividends to me.
I hold aaz,cey and shg for a combination of growth and dividends .

Icb, cambells posted a news release that predicted cnr would be producing in 2016. Show me any gold explorer that has transitioned to producer that has paid a dividend within a year of going into production ? This is fantasy land which is how many end up disapointed.
My prediction is cnr will not be in commercial production until 2004 ,wont be debt free for a couple of years but then there is the finance of expansion.

Tester, I believe similar to E l recently you are making a mistake in your calcs for eps . There are a whole range of expenses to be deducted before a net eps is arrived at .I suggest you look at calibres year end figures for a better idea. they are debt free so do not have to make debt repayments, interest etc though.
I do not think we will see commercial production before 2024 personally and as for dividends simms , you wont see them until cnr is debt free and since the stated aim is to increase production to 120 and then develop underground to give 180 k oz it is very unlikely that any dividend is likely in the next five years . Best to be realistic imv.

Gameflin, crypto is great for traders if you know when to buy and sell . Just like shares ,including omi. Crypto is the future. A lot of people want to write it off because otherwise they have to accept they missed the boat . Except the boat still is early doors.The growth in the number of people taking up crypto far outweighs people that want to buy pm's.

Webbs, I believe crypto is the best place to be currently . Eth and cardano doubled in the last 3 weeks . We will deffo see new record highs for eth and btc over the coming months .
Not to say there wont be gains in gold and silver miners or copper but going to be over a longer timescale. Happily in each of these.

Asilad, never dismiss posibilities . However I think if there was any sniff of that happening we would have tanked nearer to 5 p . It is most likely the sp will have a good lift if/when confirmation of nm coughing up so buys around 17 p could see a nice little spike over the next month imv.
From my basic knowledge ,nm deal is $30 m over 10 years for 75 per cent of what many here see as a multi billion dollar asset . Some of that has already been received . $30 m over 10 years is only $3 m a year to fund explo so I would certainly hope omi could fund that ,and own all the project lol. Could also then sell at whatever point.
I think it is fairly normal if a company has free carry to look for other openings and best not to be a one horse pony .

Always be prepared for the unexpected though , your scenario is not impossible but hopefully unlikely .

How about shanta latest kenya grades very exciting some over 5500 gt ,debt free producing gold in Tanzania,just started paying dividends, m cap £140 m.
Calibre,producing 180 k oz pa , debt free, $60 m cash in hand, 16 rigs turning good grades. M cap £305 m .

E l , agree these are the times to buy just like eth and bitcoin about 3 weeks ago . Currently adding producers but may have a little add here soon.

You know as well as I that only listening to the impending multibag posts can be expensive . Buy in small ammounts downwards for me, gold being hammered is going to help push this a bit further I reckon . But hey when we do get news and a spike there will be plenty apparently more than willing to pay 24,34, 40 p eTc. Me I will be selling some .
Not negative on this share at all just wary of some of the posting. I am well up and going to try and keep it that way.
