Charles Gordon has replied !!! "The Inmaculada mine has been operating for some time. The plant has been operational since a few days after the accident (so why not tell the shareholders ???) and the mine is getting back to full production in a steady and sustainable way. We have stockpiles of ore that have been processed and therefore have not changed our production outlook for the mine or the company. I will be watching close tomorrow at open doors - hopefully our SP will hold up but I have been here before when a 12% rise is taken back in two days subsequent trading ! So may be sell and buy back later tomorrow ? This SP moves fast so it is worth watching early on till about 1000 hrs then make the decision to hold or sell ! Today it was hold all the way but I think the SP is a bit wary of the 273p glass ceiling and may bounce back - still need that damned RNS ref Inmaculada that the BOD is refusing to issue. If it is not issued soon I will sell out and bank the profits until we get the fog cleared away. All IMO only ! Regards all

Eish - just my experience that when the NYSE opens down the Yanks usually drag us down too ! regardless of whether the company is listed or not - power of the Yanks again. I must admit that I did not expect our SP to keep climbing like it has - perhaps the word on the street is good news about Inmaculada ? Not complaining tho - most miners doing well today but none on my watchlist anywhere near HOC rise. Regards

NYSE open for 30 mins and we seem to be holding - spot SP 259p. Hope we do not see a big drop in last 30 mins trading - I have seen 10% knocked off a SP in last 5 minutes !!! NOT HOC I hasten to add. Regards and GL all

I was reading an article in a Gold bulletin which said that there was now a divergence between Ag and Au prices and the SPs of PM miners - with Ag down to $US 16.96 today and Au down to $us 1203 the rocketting HOC SP seems to confirm the divergence report ! GL all

just e mailed Charles Gordon at HOC Investor Relations to ask for a RNS updating the state of play at Inmaculada mine. I got no reply to my previous e mail so perhaps Charles needs to look at his job spec and reply - LOL SP still holding above other miners. Regards all

Eish - two very risky shares IMO are on my watch list - PMO and SOU. I think PMO is dead in the water at the mo until at least end March and probably end May until finance is sorted out. SOU has too many shares in the market and is gambling on just one well coming good - results not to be announced for some months yet and SP stalled about 90p. I foolishly jumped into SOU with a £30k a while back as the SP was moving up quickly - the next day I lost £2400 when the SP crashed back 8% - so will wait until SP is above 100p ++ before thinking of buying in again - and maybe not then either ! For now I am happy with HOC - just a bit disappointed that it recently dropped back so far - today is great so far and I am hoping we can keep most of our gain till close of play - but if the SP drops this PM after NYSE open I will buy more prior to 1630 hrs ! Who knows sir - only God ! ref late showing of trades - it happens all the time as brokers hold back on big trades to try to control SPs ! Hopefully our SP will hold today and generally rise over next few months ! But may get pulled back a bit by day traders. Regards

Over the last week the following runners were : - 1 AAL 10% DOWN 2. ANTO 9% DOWN 3. BHP B 7% DOWN 4. RAND 7% DOWN 5. RIO 5% DOWN 6. SHIRE 3% DOWN easy winner HOC at ZERO UP/DOWN Hoping for a good rise next week - Annual report due mid April then Q1 results - which I think will be flat as is usual in Q1 each year but we may get good news from Pallancata "Pablo" veins exploration and production which the BOD says shows much richer PM content than forecast. We will also see the effect of the Pallancta blockade and Inmaculada shutdown. Our last two Major updates were damp squibs which failed to excite the market and our SP stayed flat but if the April reports are better than expected we may get a good boost to the SP. There is also the "Article 50" declaration in March which should boost the SP - fingers crossed. Regards all

Supergut - no comparison - just that I have been into miners and oilys for the last 4 months so I group them together as "commodity traders" LOL. I jumped in and out of AAL and GLEN from November onwards - each time I sold I said "this MUST be the peak now ! Stupid boy Pike ! If I had held onto my AAL at 400p or 500p instead of selling and staying out I could have sold at 1422p a few weeks ago ! Fortune favours the brave ! I still made some very good profits so must not complain ! Best of luck with your own plans - once the HOC RNS and Accident Investigation Board findings are out I think the SP will rocket up again. I am sure that if there were any possibility of permanent closure of Inmaculada the BOD would have had to issue a warning RNS !

Supergut - I have been doing a lot of research across the miners and oilys and come out with some interesting findings - If you are a LTH it would not have mattered this year if you were in AAL ACA AGK HOC or SOU over recent weeks they are all down in the same pattern about 12% to 15% Lower on the scale is ENQ EVR KAZ TLW and VED at 25% to 28% down. Bottom place is PMO with 39% down ! So my side betting on other companies has mostly been wasted - I was lucky once with a £3K day win but lost about the same on a SOU day bet PMO lost me cash and COB. My plan from 3 weeks ago was NOT to buy into PMO until after May when the re-financing is finished but I was tempted into PMO at the very low SP of 66p - the SP then crashed below 60p and I sold out and put the remaining cash back into HOC at 241p I must learn to stick to my plans and not get tempted by day trading. The whole SM is too volatile at the mo but the miners and oilys have already taken a big hit downwards and I am betting on HOC climbing back up again next week onwards. Shock ! - I just googled the quantities of gold and silver in the world - 5 times as much GOLD as silver !!! Silver world stocks have declined from 10B ounces in 1940 to just ONE B ounces now - silver use heavy in industry and jewellery etc - more so than gold ! Very little silver held in National Banks ! So why is gold so much higher priced than silver ? The "experts" say it is a con trick - because fixed prices of gold versus silver are traditionally 70 to 1 people prefer to hold gold and market controllers try to steer holders away from silver because if the scarcity of silver became known people would buy heavily and cut down the amount available for industry - all the electronics - from TVs to mobile phones et al would rocket up in price ! Looks like your info was right - stand by for early doors imminently on companies and individuals buying up silver and holding for 2018 boom ! Lots to consider IMO. Will be buying more HOC when funds available. Regards

Not sure myself but over the last fifty years I can remember many times that speculators tried to corner the market in silver but NOT gold ! Perhaps gold at 70 times the silver price is too expensive for sharpers and possibly the volume of gold in the world as opposed to silver makes gold much rarer to find and trade than silver which is in abundance ? Regards

I just checked back and the HOC SP went UP from 157 to 305 in just 25 calendar days (94%) after the BREXIT vote. Be great if we went up even half that amount ! A SP of 305 (UP 25%) would be just great IMO Next week may well be volatile - and Mrs May may well also be volatile and sacking the Chancellor ! Regards all

Interesting that with only 10 months to go to endex for price fixing we can expect early moves by everyone public and private to start to stockpile silver - looks good for HOC shares ! Regards

The Daily Torygraph today says Article 50 may be called as early as next Tuesday. Looking back at the SM carnage after the BREXIT vote on June 23 I think the markets may crash again next week but Ag and Au prices rocketed up after the BREXIT vote and HOC shares went up also. I am back to holding only HOC having got burned last week trading on PMO and one or two other tempting invalids - LOL Back to my original plan to hold only HOC shares but keep a watching eye on PMO after May 2017 - might be a good side bet but at the mo PMO is totally controlled at about 60p and will be till May IMO - barring any spectacular RNS from their BOD. Ag UP today $US 17.03 and Au UP $US 1205 Hopefully next week will see a surge back up in our SP Regards all
