The elephant in the room on the CV pandemic is NOT the infection rate but the DEATH rate. UK has a DR of about 16% - USA has less than 5% - so Trump is right - this is a sort of super flu which world wide has killed about 5% of those infected. Why European countries have been hit so hard on the DR is a mystery to the experts - but Spain did a survey on the "herd immunity" - number of CV survivors who have excellent antibodies and was expecting about 80% but it was only about 9% - so HI does not work either. And men have better antibodies than women !!! Go figure experts.

We live in volatile times and it is just luck if you are making good profits in the SM currently - well done if you are and GL with your plans

The facts are that only the over 50s - I am 74 - are most at risk from the CV - youngsters are not at risk - only 4 deaths in the EU of very young people and 2 had underlying health problems - so teenagers and kids could sit safely side by side in the cinema - so if CINE opened with only matinees and evenings for under 30s let us say - they could really bounce back IMO. Hopefully the BOD will come up with this sort of plan for initial openings - they could even have matinees for over 50s only - but with suitable personal protection in place.

I think they now have another year to sort out all the wells so nothing game changing is going to happen soon - except for a takeover IMO

Buying at these low SPs is a guaranteed profit in the longer term. We will need a "good news" RNS to start the major upward rise. The big one would be a takeover at 30p or more per share. Beware the GDP figures when published in July - I expect a 30% drop and we have seen what a 20% drop did to all the stocks in the SM - the other problem would be a new lockdown after a second wave of CV

What we need is some common sense wrt the CV pandemic - I said months ago that only the old people -I am 74 - should be in lockdown - we are 88% of the death rate. The whole population under the age of 50 could have kept on working and we would not have the financial chaos we now have. Vital workers like NHS - fire - police - Armed Forces - farmers and the food chain - electricity - gas - water - all have kept on working. Check the stats of CV deaths by age - total lockdown was a stupid move - as is the new travel 14 days isolation - that should have been in 10 weeks ago. CINE cannot open up with the 2 metre rule in place - that will have to change All IMO only
