The BOD lied to us all - "MTRO staff discovered the error in accounting - then they admitted that it was the Financial Watchdogs not MTRO who uncovered the false accounting (which meant MTRO not having to hold major cash to cover bad debts - now the BOD has raised an extra £375 million to cover the possible losses)

If you follow Rule Number One - "Never gamble more then you can afford to lose" you will be OK when you invest in other more profitable companies - provided I end the year at about zero loss I am happy gambling - my best gamble a few years ago was on UKOG at 1.8p and selling after it peaked at 12p - I got about 8p for the shares and banked £45K profit - one of my more reckless gambles that paid off - I did not buy any more UKOG - now SP is about 1p again.

Ya gotta know when to hold em - know when to fold em - know when to walk away and know when to run - never count yor winnins while playin at the table - time enough to count the cash when the dealins all done !

SP now up 17% from the low point

What a pity that the BOD does not have the guts to issue a RNS stating "TCG is in final discussions to sell the airline after which Fosun has expressed an interest in buying the remaining parts of the company !" Instantly the SP would jump back up 30% plus IMO

L&G intend to move a vote on sacking all the MTRO BOD at their AGM - perhaps we could do the same with TCG BOD - an EGM would do it.

Wake up BOD - put your cards on the table

1. Sell the airline for whatever you can get from the "multiple" bids

2. Sell the rump of the company to Fosun for a fair price - other companies have clocked 200% to 300% gain on takeover from very low SPs

Argentina now granting oil and gas companies licenses to develop fields in and around the "Malvinas" - could be good news for Sea Lion development which has been held back by Argie threats to big companies who try to develop the FI discovered oil fields ! Long term to actual production but may encourage big boys to get on board the Sea Lion project !

I have just sold out with a small loss -£500 - because I now think that the BOD may well be forced to suspend trading till things improve - many companies have done this before and it sometimes works well when the shares start trading again but in view of all the broker downgrades I am not going to risk being locked into TCG shares

When Berenberg rated TCG SP at 12p we all ridiculed that forecast - but today we hit 12p !!! Unless the BOD get off their butts soon and sell the airline then tie up with Fosun the SP will drop even further

Wrong horse - I had a choice of buying MTRO at 475p or TCG at 18p - I jumped the wrong way and bought TCG - MTRO now 640p and TCG 16p - cannot sell even £1K of shares at the mo !

Hopefully there will be a dead cat bounce later on

SP crashing - the market obviously did not like all the adverse publicity - the BOD needs to take urgent action or TCG SP will continue crashing

Loads of publicity today in the Daily Torygraph - mega screeds on TCG and its problems - the Business section sees the way ahead as - 1. dispose of the airline 2. Negotiate a takeover with Fosun. How the market will react to the publicity will soon be known - could go either way - but an early sale of the airline assets is now essential to TCG to start the SP climbing back up on a recovery line.

SP at 20p - must be a big buy just come in !

With a gross income of about 6 billion a year - albeit under performing on profits - a TCG SP of 19p is ridiculously cheap. Part of the problem is idiot politicians in January telling holidaymakers not to book EU hols after March because we would be under siege by irate EU remaining countries and we would not be able to take our holidays in remaining EU destinations - why is it that behind every disaster these days is a vacuous politician ? And now May has kicked the can down the road again till November so the chaos will continue.

SP moving up slow and steady now - may get a boost this PM as punters rush in to buy very cheap shares for long term profits.

Hopefully all the bad news for TCG is now in the open and when they sell the airline - the BOD says that they have had a lot of offers for "all or part" of the airline and the new loan is dependent on selling so a RNS combining a sale and new loan should boost the SP

I voted UKIP for the EU 4 years ago and Nigel got loads of seats - I voted UKIP in the UK General Election and 4 million UKIP voters got just one seat whilst one and a half million Scots got 57 seats - we do not have a democracy in the UK we have a rotten corrupt political system which is rigged to return Tory or Labour govts and an unelected 850 members of the House of Lords who can veto any measure passed by the HoC. There is no way Nigel or any other "White Knight" can clean out the HoC pig sty because all power is in the trotters of the pigs. It is time for UK "Yellow Vests" to blockade the HoC till we get a truly democratic system in place - Dream On - some day in Jerusalem !!!

Once again world markets are being hit by brainless Trump the loose cannon - where it ends who knows ? Could plunge the world into another Recession. The elephant in the room for me is Zama - this looks like an excellent buy by the BOD and in time will flow masses of oil - but just like waiting for Catcher to finally come on line and produce excellent results we will have to wait a while for Zama profits to roll in. I think Sea Lion is now well and truly on the back burner and could be sold to pay down debt - PMO is not big enough and not wealthy enough to take Sea Lion to final production

The world would benefit if both Trump and May were to disappear - I would be happy to pay ransom money to the abducters if they only KEEP the two idiots !
