Eish - Ag at $US 17,48 - HOC SP at 283p ! - can we hold or go higher or will this bleed off PM ? I am tempted to top slice above 290p again as buying back in gained me 700 shares on the last down turn (if that happens again) - if not then I will have the cash profits ! Just a few days before the BREXIT vote last year I went into 100% cash and advised others to do the same - I was told by most BB subscribers I was crazy as REMAIN was certain to win and the SM was flying up ! After the BREXIT crash down I bought back in to BARC at 30% discount. This time I am not so sure - Article 50 is so well trailed that it should not crash the SM. Although Tusk and co have now turned vicious in their threats to cripple the UK finances - go ahead Mr Tusk - we did not cave in to Napoleon or the Kaiser or Hitler and compared to them you are a pipsqueak ! See how you like a trade embargo on imports to UK of German cars and machinery and French wine and cheese !!! I will see how the SM is running early next week and may sell out and buy back in Thursday ! But my instinct tells me that HOC will be the safest place next week - we shall see ! Regards

Eish - quick look at CMCL - the train left the station nearly 3 months ago and SP has been flat lining ever since. I do not see a lot of headroom for SP to rise - small mcap - lots of new share issues - one one trade today so far ! Question is - can you sell at a profit when you need to ? Ref dividends - I am not in favour of divs as SP drops by same amount on ex div day - better for the company to re-invest profits to enhance SP. Just IMO only but if you are into miners I think HOC is still the safest place for investment and with buys on the dips will reward all LTH in the next few years ! Regards on this "tin hat" day for most big companies.

Eish - I continue to be impressed with HOC - yet again the SM is awash with red and HOC is the only one on my monitoring list of 15 major mining and oil companies to be in the blue - drops of 3 or 4% common today in majors. Will look at Caledonia Regards

A Singapore broker has just been sent to prison for "spoofing" the SM (raising very large buy or sell orders to sway the market SPs then cancelling out to avoid paying ! That explains the constant huge volume trades on our SM which are quickly cancelled ! Time a few more market mafia got sent to prison in this country IMO

Eish - Bushveld is another AIM listed "pump and dump" company IMO - if you can get in and out with a quick 10% profit then OK but it also is issuing too many shares and borrowing to buy - too small for me - I will be looking to hold HOC as my main share and buy PMO on the rise GL with your own plans

darrenp - yet again yesterday little ole HOC came good - stayed in the blue when just about all the other big companies like AAL Glen etc dropped 3 or 4% - possibly accounts for the big buying in after hours - AAL down 12% since late Jan - ACA down 11% ENQ down 24% EVR down 19% KAZ down 18% LMI down 50% PMO down 33% SOU down 16% TLW down 39% and VED down 23%. Now is the time to be in HOC gold and silver IMO - although the FTSE is at all time high the big companies listed above are in very poor shape - mostly through huge debts that they cannot pay off - and that includes banks like BARC which hit 65p in early 2010 and is still around 69p ! Even the mighty European banks like DB and UBS are in trouble - so next week calling of Article 50 might be the trigger for another SM slide in Europe ! All IMO only but I think that the FTSE is defying gravity at the mo and must come down soon Morning Eish - I had a quiet day yesterday with some friends staying - now back to the SM monitoring - in particular PMO is moving up and may be worth a punt - RNS due today or tomorrow on final refinancing completion GL all - keep the HOC shares in the drawer as you day trade other companies

noggers - strange day 15 of the 17 shares I monitor are in the red and only HOC and EVR are blue - EVR about 7% up but I cannot see any reason for that - apart from the fact it went so far down it had to come back up or go bust ! LOL I expect our SP will rise later this week - especially as Mrs May has stopped dithering around and final named BREXIT date. I think she will regret not calling a General Election last Autumn when she could have gained about 100 seat majority (50 from boundary changes and 50 from doddery old Corbyn ) Regards

EVR taken off today on the back of a broker's upgrade - if you fancy a "very hazardous" gamble according to the broker - you could try a quick in and out but i think it is only good for another 10% so I will stay out. HOC perking up a bit !

I know that "Past performance is no guide to future performance" - but I am drawn to a pattern of SP upsy downsy over the last 3 months and see that if HOC follows the same pattern we should get another 10% rise within 7 days (barring the unknown unknown RNS which might propel us to the stars or dump us in the guano ! I prefer the stars so will buy more shares when funds are available. I recently had an E mail from Nigeria saying that a cousin of Mr HOC is willing to sell bricks of gold for only 10% of the present gold price ! All I have to do is send £10K to Mr Jomo Hocschild at Banko Fiddelyew and within one month my bricks will be delivered ! Eish - can you see anything wrong with this (LOL) 7 days to next major SP rise IMO Regards all

Morning Eish - Looks like the market mafia are deliberately keeping high volume buying off the radar which means the SP stays down ! Eventually the buying pressure will stop their games and the SP will rise to 300p IMO. Regards

Eish - I suggest we all hire Mr HOC as our financial adviser ! On 15 October 2015 Mr HOC bought 69 million HOC company shares in a rights issue at 47p - he has now sold 15.5 million shares at a SP of 270p = allowing for cost of buying and dealing I reckon old man (Notinhock) HOC must have made a profit of about £30 million on the shares. Well done Mr HOC - but I would have preferred it if he had "drip fed" the shares back into the market like our govt has been doing with LLOY shares - although that would probably have spooked the market as the word went around that Mr HOC was "dark pool" trading and this would have held down the SP IMO and we would have stalled at a much lower SP than 268p !!! Quien sabe senor ? (who knows) I will be very surprised if the SP does not recover and even get through the 300p glass ceiling this week and Mr HOC is now stymied from further sales as his holding sits at 51% which he has said he will maintain in order to control the company. So barring another rights issue - which the BOD has no need of now - the future is bright ! Regards and GL with your own plans

I have just noticed the uncrossing trade of £20.45 million shares bought and other late buying of another £332K of shares WOW - looks good for a SP rise next week

In 2016 Vanguard PMMF sold down shares from 51M (10%) to 29M (5.7%) in tranches at low SPs - they were obviously not expecting the surge in SP we are now seeing ! The total number of shares in the market has stayed fairly constant at around 500 M (small increases for employee share buying schemes only) So it looks good that the BOD does NOT need a rights issue to pay off debt and has been following a policy of keeping total number of shares fairly constant. All looking good as far as I can see - Inmaculada coming back fully on line and Pallancata blockade lifted and we are yet to be told about the richness of the new Pablo veins at Pallancata - although the RNS has stated that the veins are richer than forecast ! Could we hit 500p later on in Q4 this year ???? Regards all

Eish - I expect HOC BOD to pay off all its debts this year so no prob for us. Another thought came to me - the II buying £40M shares from old man HOC would have a legal case for false accounting and misrepresentation of facts if the BOD had portrayed an excellent future for the company and then the SP crashed on bad news so I am still expecting good news in April - even if Q1 figures are flat (as is usual over the years ) A break out above 300p in April would be great !!! Eish was spot on with his "Ides of March stab in the back " SP crash yesterday was caused entirely by Mr HOC selling off 3% by total volume of shares in the market. But on reflection the following thoughts come to mind: 1. The sell off was NOT new shares - just a transfer of shares to Institutional Investors (II) So a fair drop in SP would have been to 270p (which is about where we ended up). 2. The II would have done "due diligence" fact finding before buying such a large amount of shares - so they must be convinced it was a good buy-in price and the SP will go higher. 3. There will be a lock-in period before II will be able to or lend out sell their shares - so this year we should be safe from a sudden II selloff of shares. 4. Mr HOC will not sell any more of his shares for the foreseeable future but will retain 51% control holding 5. At the AGM Mr HOC may well be allocated another large chunk of shares as his annual allocation - so that is something to watch out for longer term 6. Yesterday 7252 trades took place - very high volume -2.5 million shares sold and 11.5 million bought - so clearly lots of confidence by investors that the SP will rise up again. 7. Short positions presently show 1.81% which is a small amount compared to companies like TLW at 15% or even some at 25% ! I see next week as "recovery time" for the SP and expect it to rise significantly - but the "elephant in the room" is going to be the price of Ag and Au.- the expected huge rise in PM prices has not yet happened but may well come in April or May All IMO only Regards all

The shares Mr HOC is selling in a private deal with II are NOT new shares so there should have been no dilution from that point of view- yet the market mafia has dropped our SP 10% which puts us in the same bracket as TLW which is flooding the market with NEW shares - TLW is down 15%. It's not logical Captain Kirk ! Regards all

Discgolfer - If I read the RNSs right - the shares were sold to Institutional Investors for 270p - so they will not be happy to see the SP below 270p ! A temporary glitch today which should be sorted out next week. Looking on the bright side - if II are happy with the shares at 270p they must think they will go up in value ? Regards all
